You can’t deny the active science that says gold and silver are still in the water, and that can only mean it’s still in contact with the material. More than one treasure has been deposited there. If they have the money hole, and Aladdin’s cave there could be two separate treasures there as well as others. The structure on Lot 5 gets curiouser and curiouser (😂)

      But to know that, or to tell the audience, would require a scientific show rather than a pseudo-scientific one which always ignores (like all pseudo-scientific TV show do) one of the very basic of science, i.e. the comparative experiment. In that case for instance, digging anywhere else on the Canadian east coast and see if they find similar things or if Oak Island is special (which it isn't).

      And to think and come to grips with the fact that ancient seafarers sailing across the Atlantic Ocean from the east or from the south had to pass by the Aspotogan Peninsula in order to enter Mahone Bay and then row/sail past among over 300 islands in the bay in order to reach tiny Oak Island which is tucked up in the corner of Mahone Bay just a stone's throw from the Nova Scotia mainland..... It's mind boggling!

      @johnwoa 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@frontenac5083 What most people don't know is that after Oak Island was platted into lots back in 1762, if you look at the public land records you will discover that at least two of the lots were initially purchased by men who were privateers (i.e. legal pirates) who were commissioned by the King of England to sail the Atlantic and plunder ships that were enemies of The Crown and temporarily bring back the retrieved goods and treasure to Oak Island before moving it to England. Treasure (e.g. Spanish silver Reales coins) from these privateers would have been buried in shallow holes on Oak Island for safekeeping and this is apparently what Samuel Ball found while farming the land, and the treasure he found made him very wealthy. As to why the privateer treasure was left buried unattended to be found by Samuel Ball will never be known.

    • @user-uj1ix8zl6j

      The “Cabbage Farmer” worked for the British and they rewarded him for his service. There have been dozens of British effects found on his lot. So I doubt he found anything significant like treasure. If you watched the show you would know that according to the science, there remains a Billy truck load full of gold is still hidden somewhere on the island. Anyone seeking to remove the treasure from the island has to deal with the water problem. The Lagina’s are dealing with it now. IMO either the archaeological site on Lot 5 or other work currently being shown will lead them to the place where the water is directed to a tunnel that impedes treasure hunters. The water is key and I think they have to shut it down before they can work underground…and they have shown video of the brothers underground, and in a dry environment. Love Oak Island it’s the one show I can’t wait to watch every week and every year!💗

    • @user-uj1ix8zl6j
      @user-uj1ix8zl6j 6 месяцев назад +1

      Exactly! Finally another person who understands that this show demonstrates that to work effectively and efficiently you must apply science and for many seasons did just that. Once you have the science you follow where it leads. In the first or second season someone spoke about the Knights Templar and I remember saying that’s not possible. But as the artifacts were uncovered and the ages of the artifacts determined I had to consider them. So I read books about the Templar Order. In an early season they were shown a rock somewhere in the Province and they talked about how the flag of the indigenous people was an exact reversal of the Templar flag. How did that happen? They had to have had contact with each other.
      People who are familiar with the show but remain cynical about the reality of treasure remaining on the island haven’t listened to the science.
      I’m sad that Dave Blankenship left the show. I think the Lagina’s are very awed by the work his father did by hand during his life as treasure hunter. I hear respect in their voices whenever Dan is mentioned and they still think there is something important about 10X, the hole Dan Blankenship and Dan Hensky dug. The artifacts they found haven’t been shown in a few years, except for the Spanish antique scissors. So much history has taken place on Oak Island I think Alex and his cousins will continue seeking stories about it long after Rick and Marty retire…due to old age.❤️

    Regaurding the coins to find them where they did suggests that they were dropped on what at the time was the ground , now if I was on my way to hide something I'd cover my track and be sure not to drop anything. If I just found something I'd pop it open on the spot to see what was in it then get out of there in a hurry maybe dropping a few things on my way out🤷‍♂️ still I reckon there's more than 1 thing hidden on the island hidden by multiple groups and at different times

    We should make a homemade metal detector, just like the one we saw in the "Meteorite Hunters" series.
    A 2 x 2 meter square, which was towed by a quad bike,
    had such a long range that it could find the metal at a depth of 2-3 meters.

      About the "French map" they keep showing us on this show, by the way, it is highly suspicious (my money would be on complete modern fake), to say the least: the handwriting seems very modern as opposed to 17th century or whatever time this map is supposed to be from, and more worryingly, the "French" is absolutely incorrect all around.
      No one who genuinely speaks French would write like that.
      If we translate one of the instructions in English for example, you'd have something like:
      "No you go here with the boat."
      Basic words (such as "drawing") are also "misgendered" (yeah, that's a real thing in French!) which no genuine French speaker would ever do.
      In short: this map is a complete joke!

    You never have to watch missed episodes to catch up. They spend 3/4 of the show repeating the same words, showing the same theories and illustrations, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, show more digging and the crew. I just wait for it to stream so I can skip through the recycle garbage. It turns into a 15 minute show once you get through the recycle. Lolol

    It's really annoying that they have abandoned the man made swamp again.
    The show should also be longer than 1 hour episodes of absolutely nothing.
    Of course they manage to trick you in to watching the next episode week after week with no real progress made.
    I'm starting to think the show is their treasure.

    Indigenous people have been in North America for many thousands of years. I wish you would have more respectful language in your show this is not the oldest item in North America. There are many indigenous artifacts older than that. Perhaps it’s the oldest European item!

      Wow! You better contact CNN and all the News outlets! If what you found is indeed genuine, you're gonna be famous! Guns did not exist in 3000 BC. The first devices identified as guns or proto-guns appeared in China from around 1000 AD. It was the Chinese fire lance, a bamboo tube (or metal tube) that used gunpowder to fire a spear. I learned all this as a kid when my dad was a member of the NRA and was a gun nut.
