- Disgraced South Carolina lawyer Alex Murdaugh was sentenced to life in prison for the murders of his wife, Maggie, and his 22-year-old son Paul. After six weeks of testimony, it took less than three hours for them to announce the guilty verdict. Juror Craig Moyer says it only took about 45 minutes of discussion to reach a unanimous verdict. Murdaugh's son Buster and brother John Marvin were in court as Judge Clifton Newman blasted the disgraced attorney.
The judge is the best. Soft spoken, well spoken, a true leader, a true gentleman. Prosecutor and jury great. Justice prevails.
I think that’s the same judge that sentenced an Uber Driver to Life a few Years ago

Alex is also known for his humble and loving attitude. Something is amiss.
You be quite do you understand me!?
Not really
It’s sad when you realize Maggie saw her son laying dead on the ground, her husband had his gun, and she still ran past him in order to run to her son.
I mean its not like his wife or son were good people either. These Murdaugh folks had it coming for a long time. No good guys in this story.

@@konstantinosl6992 Many things really. Search on youtube for 'This Chapter Murdaughs'. You will find like a 20min long intense video describing it all including their families shady violent affairs, I think. In short, many very bad things.
“It’s an inside job” now has a new meaning for him.
There there he said it!
Here's hoping Murdaugh runs into people that he personally put behind bars once he's sent away. I'm sure they'd all *LOVE* the chance to get...."reacquainted" with him to say the least....not to mention knowing what he did to his own wife & son.
To me, the only way this would have been better would have been if he'd gotten the death penalty. Then he'd have to spend 23 out of every 24 hours in total isolation, being allowed just one hour to either shower or use the prison yard, up until the day his execution was carried out. Sadly, things aren't over since he still gets his appeals so that he can just drag the entire process out even more. Let the rest of his days on Earth be a living hell where he has only himself for company and doesn't get to have any substantial interaction with the outside world.
That is what justice is about , no one no matter how rich or how poor is above the law
The world needs more of that, especially the rich.
He aint that rich he is stealing , most likely why he went down. and yes the rich is above the law thats a reality.
If murdaugh was worth over 10 billion dollars I guarantee you he would’ve gotten off scot free

It's a shame that every case such as this isn't a death sentence. Evil needs to be swept off the earth
Killing a killer is not going do any thing putting them in prison is not going to do any thing when I think about this it feels like stopping a killer or a criminal is a waste of time
@@Thesixwolf6we should have death row in every nation, province, and state.
It actually costs more money to have people on death row, and it likely doesn’t get carried out for years due to
the appeals.
For example, the Boston bomber and Charleston shooter have been on death row for nearly a decade now.
Death is any easy way out
I believe that even though someone did something VERY horrible, death still could be too much, it seems better if death would just go smoothly on its course. And, evil does exist for a reason. Good won’t exist without evil, if all of evil was swept off, what is the point of being good? Half of the good might eventually just turn evil as well anyways in that case, no worries, evil can also swap to good too. Sorry for writing a paragraph.
I think what he means when he says he could never hurt his wife and son, is that he desperately wishes he could never hurt his wife and son.
Sometimes when we tell ourselves something over and over we end up believing it.
