    At the end of the day if someone says they have voices in their heads. Probably the wise thing to do is not grant them parole.

      Even then, people lie saying they have voices in their head but it's only to get a lighter sentence or to plead insanity. From what I scene alot of school shooters use that excuse once they get caught.

    When you realize that your wrong deeds cost you back more than you can imagine 🤔🙄😑 This is why we all should keep a humble character because any kind of evil is punishable. You might having a good time now but later you'll suffer the consequences at your most vulnerable hours...

    He was not granted parole. He was ordered to ‘serve out’ his sentence. Which was life in prison. So he will never be released.

    After 25 years, and still hearing voices, it’s safe to say he’s too far gone. Can’t feel bad for everybody.

    **UPDATE**
    On September 26, 2022, the parole board unanimously denied Carneal's bid for parole and ordered him to serve out the remainder of his life sentence. The "serve out" ruling, under Kentucky law, means the inmate in question cannot be considered for any future parole hearings. This means Carneal's life with parole sentence is now effectively a life without parole (or "whole life") sentence.

    3 deaths and irreparable injuries and he wants out after 25 years... he's really not remorseful

    • @tomk4484
      @tomk4484 10 месяцев назад +1

      Not sure he actually wants out; He admitted he still hears the voices. I suspect he is afraid of living outside now, knowing he may not be able to support himself and would end up out on the streets.

      To be clear, though, either way I don’t think he should be released.

      Maybe one of the voices told him to seek parole, but another doesn’t want it.
