@@astralremi that is it but I know I will fail anyway so oh well
Yup😂😉
This would probably be a great musical.... If I didn't have to study it for Drama GCSE.
i had to do this in year 8
Same mate
~It is a musical~
it so would if it wasnt a gcse subject
@@ebonyh6613 am doing it on year 8

Niamh Spicer this is my last minute revision too!
Still learning about it 🤦♂️

As long as you’re taking notes and notice of their behaviours and what they mean, then yes 😂
Not a clue
Anyone doing this for GCSE?
Yep. I've got my exams this May
I'm in year 9 and have to learn about this for the next three years.
No, im 12 and this is what we are doing in english and im so obsessed that im watching it over and over again lmao😂
Yeah
Yes and also because I like the play.
I understand GCSE's are important to an extent, but what will remembering quotes and stating the obvious about them ever do to help me get a job?
What the hell does this have to do with this video?
Nicky Edwards er, blood brothers is part of english literature?
+Peter Booth Funny how every year, new year 11's up-vote my comment aha, good luck to you guys, I got an A and I didn't finish watching it!
I've go mine in a few months what was it like
Ethan Smith 696 Don't worry about it mate honestly, the best advice I could give you is just don't get stressed about it, English Lit means so little post-school, everyone is more interested in English Language and Maths, so just do well in those :)

1% of comments= THIS ;P
Are there sub-sections for these commenters?
You see, Everyone in these comments are saying they have to watch this for school or something and we read the book in English but I'm just choosing to watch this because I thought it was a great book? Is that sad? I'm spending my free RUclips time watching this? Ey I'm enjoying it though!
If it makes you happy then we can’t object
@@sonnyfox60 yes sonny (miss davies drama)

@@sarspe111 You'll love it it's a fantastic play 😀

Blood Brothers was the very first musical I ever saw on Broadway. I watched it the summer of 2010 in London and absolutely fell in love with it. This musical will always hold a special place in my heart :)

POV: your drama teacher sent you here
correct
Bro I’ve been sent by my english teacher 🥲
Year 8 English and Year 10 Drama brought me here. It is so far the first and only book/play that I ever did at school that had swearing in it.
"I'd pull out his splinters without making him cry", 14.10. I love that line.
Went to England and saw Blood Brothers Was in tears at the end, now im going again soon. :3 CAN'T GET ENOUGH!!!
I'm doing this for my Drama GCSE, Going to see it next month, really like this production.
It helped a lot, thanks for uploading:)
How did your GCSE go?
After 8 years? Fine thanks 😂
The day before my English exam, what the fuck is wrong with me hahahah
My exam is 3 hours away so you are better than me :)
Kyle s Omg same I've got both Blood Brothers and Christmas Carol
Girl_who_loves_wolves 898 oh god same only just started revision I'm fucked
How did it go??
thanks soo much for this. saw it open at Liverpool Playhouse as a kid,and then a couple of years later when it came back to Liverpool Empire. Couldn't believe a musical could be about 'real' gritty issues.
Then Con from down the road end's up as 'Mickey'.......:o)
Me and my friend have been singing Marilyn Monroe since we first started studying bb
I love your name omg minghao
took a very good friend to see this on his 21st birthday 24 years ago. He wanted to go on a pub crawl and was a bit reluctant to be going to see a show. By the end of it he was in tears and didn't drink for the rest of the night as he 'didn't want to blur the emotions from the show'.
I just want to cry at such beautifuly created musical play not only that but it being such. tragedy make me want to also
Gay
*musical
Just found this doing it at school, absolutely love it. Actors are so good, and Mickey is gorgeous ;)
I watched this at the grand opera house in Belfast for a GCSE drama piece and it absolutely blew me away. Just perfect!
Anyone else watching this the night before the English literature exam🤣🙋🏽♀️last minute revision

Yes, good luck!
MissAbzyBoo and you!
The best show I have ever seen, seen it loads of times, I watch it on RUclips anytime I'm bored, fav scene is 3, wen they meet for the 1st time, my favorite Mickey is Con o'neil, he makes me cry every time, should be brought out on dvd
I saw this on Brosdway 7 times with Petula Clark,David and Shaun Cassidy...fantastic!
Such a great musical! Seen it 6 times and love it even more every time I go to see it!!!
I saw this live in London a few years ago... I enjoyed it
Great story
The opening number is absolutely fantastic. The lass singing is brilliant, quality production, great song but really really well done this.
Watching this because of GCSEs but also because I like musicals xD
Love this. Just finished reading it at school and it is so good. I never got to finish watching the theatre performance so watching it all now. It’s it absolutely amazing love it
Christ, i cannot believe it's been 10 years since i studied this st school and watched the play 😅
Same ,it’s so nostalgic isn’t it?
Con O'Neill will always be the best Mikey. Love Blood Brothers :)
Marg yes!
anyone in quarantine and has GCSE English and cba to do work so is watching the play
Sammeeee. I have an essay tmmrw on this so I'm hoping that watching it will help me remember quotes
Saw this production at the Bradford Alhambra the week before it moved to the west end - still my favourite cast and musical arrangement. They seem to have murdered 'Tell me it's not true' in the latest version :( Played Eddie in our youth group in 1994 - best part ever done - was a struggle not to cry when i was 'dead' at the end - BRILLIANT SHOW - cheers Mr Russell!!
I’m watching this this to revise for my exam tomorrow I hope it helps
Watched it in 89 with this cast and then again in 90s.. Amazing show
Love this play, my favourite text/play out of the 3 we do in class, (Romeo and Juliet, A Christmas Carol) This is my favourite
The final GCSE Literature exam is tomorrow. I'll never have to do literature again after tomorrow, weird feeling but will miss this.

Thank you for putting this up, got my english lit exam tomorrow - this really helps me:)
Love the first song we went dancing. Stuck in my head 😂😂
I did this as part of my Performing Arts GCSE
We had to watch the whole thing.
And I’m glad I did, I enjoyed every last minute of it, I still watch it from time to time
i remember watching this in english for gcses lol, was always the best lesson when our teacher would put the play on, the whole year group went out to see a version of it as well, such a great play
I saw this in a theater with my school the other week and I was in tears by the end of it!
the quality of this video is about the same as the quality of my knowledge about this musical
I did this for my drama exam. I played Mickey. It was the best character I ever played!
I'm doing it in class and I played Micky too
I am going to play mr Lyons in my school production, Eddie and mickey are older than me
This is brilliant
This was absolutely brilliant why oh why did it stop showing in the west end oh why oh why oh why

This is by far the best playing ever seen in my entire life I am so upset that it ended so soon but I am sure that they still do tours but its just not the same and its probably not the same cast .,....... What a shame
i love this play, gotta be said the quality of acting has got better since '89 :P

How did u manage that it's not showing in the uk
It was 5 months ago
Sam chisnall unless it was on tour as it closed in 2013 no longer on the westend
The Overture just sends shivers down my spine - I don't know why - I think its the saxaphone part :)
Best piece of acting ever. bravo.

I did this at college, saw it at school. Such a great play. xx
someone tell me how i’m going to get a job by remembering quotes from this?
Remembering script lines effectively I guess, important for performing
Predictable comment saying I saw it at my school awhile ago xD otherwise, this is one of my favorite musicals for several reasons that I can't easily explain!
I'm doing this next year for performing arts and I hadn't heard of it until now! It looks great, I can't wait!
going to watch this tomorrow at kings lynn corn exchange with the school xx by the looks of it.. it looks amazing xx
