I just saw Sean Jones playing mickey in the Swansea grand theatre. And let me say, I’ve never been so impressed with a single performance. Hell, the entire show was just perfect
Went to see it last night at the Belfast grand opera House and it was as amazing as I remember it being 20 years ago. Sean will be sorely missed, amazing job keeping up this level of acting for 22 years, couldn't have been easy. I'm also not into the whole X factor thing but Nikki Evans performance was out of this world, really loved her voice.
wow. This video was posted seven years ago and I saw Sean Jones play Mickey at the Alhambra theatre in bradford yesterday. It really did deserve the standing ovation it received.
I've seen Sean Jones play this part several times and am always impressed by how, even after several years, he still makes each performance fresh and full of life.
You could never get bored of watching or hearing this show. I first heard it as a teenage drama student when a friend played it in his car, I was hooked from the overture. I’m now nearly 50 although I still feel like that teenager although my body says other wise , the music still has the same emotional pull, I’m just not sure if I will get the chance to see it again in person. Not everybody can go back to normal life since covid struck.
I saw the play in Buenos Aires, Argentina yesterday and it was truly amazing !, never imagined that a version in spanish could keep so well the escence, the heart and details of this heart touching play !!!
I saw Blood Brothers 5 years ago. Got to say, it's the best show I've ever seen. Really funny, but so thought provoking. I couldn't get over it for a week after I saw it, it really stuck with me and the gentleman who played Mickey the night I saw it, captivated me with his performance.
I saw blood brothers earlier today and the cast was the same apart from the narrator who was a different man and everyone had such an amazing singing voice
Saw Josh play Mickey at Blackpool (assuming he stood in for Sean Jones) and he was Absolutely phenomenal. I’ve seen blood brothers several times and his performance was up there with the best I’ve seen, and the touching moment was lynn Paul pushed Josh forward at the end of the show and him get a huge round of applause from the audience. It was sensational
Sean Jones will always be my favourite Micky.

Wish backstage tours would actually show us backstage rather than silly little interviews and “bumping into” cast members...
I remember seeing these perform so good
Recently had the pleasure of meeting Sean, such a lovely man and will be sad to see him go
Sean is such an amazing and talented actor, all of the cast are. I don’t think it’s the story that’s bringing me back now, it’s the talent XD
G dog 😭😭 I imagine he is still so missed throughout the BB community. He had a massive heart and gave so many people so much onstage!
