Cliff Burton was a phenomenon! Great to see you young bucks connecting to what he brought to life. I don't think Lars, James and Kirk would have been half the band that Metallica has become without Cliff getting the band focused in the early 80's. Keep up the good work young men, I can tell you are having fun!! We are too!!
This is the song that made me discover you guys on RUclips back then but now that i see this new cover I can really tell how much you evolved it's crazy.

since the very first time I heard this song back in the early 90's, I fell in love with it. No idea why. it isn't fast, no words, and not that hard or complex to play. but for some reason it was always one of my favorites. Yall did a great job!

Ya know, it wasn’t precisely like the recording. And that’s what makes this jam absolutely perfect! You 4 have a definite chemistry. Orion is not an easy pull, regardless of what anyone says. I’ve ran through it on bass and both guitar parts. All three have definite challenges and you guys had fun, inserted your own accents, and while paying respect to the OG kings, made it your own. I really hope you guys make it big. You obviously have the talent to make your own awesome stuff. That song’s a bitch, faster than it ever gets credit for, and it’s tedious. Great job! Not sure how much time you guys spend on your hair, but good job on that too. Hats off guys! Very impressed.
Top!!!
orion aint hard on guitar
Excellent..... One of the best covers of this song.... Not an easy one..... Cliff would be proud.....A+
Incredible rendition of what I would consider one of the best musical pieces Metallica have ever done. Congrats dudes. You've done an incredible job.
Great tones and abilities, I’m 55 years old and have seen many people trying to get this right- first time I can say yes well done and best wishes for a lengthy career!!!
F*cking FLAWLESS. Everything exactly how it should be. You got all the important parts (of which there are many) exactly when, and how they should be played. You guys KILLED IT!
Only one word is needed to describe how good this was: WOW.
Wow... just wow. Takes me back so much, always loved this song, of course from a brilliant album but their classic instrumentals including Cthulu - to be reproduced in a modern way to really pound out loud, thanks guys, truly awesome! Talent.... maximum!
Absolutely outstanding gentleman!
🔥R.I.P. CLIFF🔥
No way to express how I felt during and after watching this. Bless my ears, bless the air you breath and bless MIXED UP EVERYTHING ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Wow. I mean just, wow. Not easy to cover Metallica and produce chills down my spine.
Keep going boys! Classic Band
They are all great but holy shit bassist man props for being a legend dude holy shit
You can find videos of Metallica themselves not playing Orion as well as this. Bending harmonized notes is next-level hard!
I'm 60 and are so glad true metal heads are still around. Love the jam. Tight band! Keep the torch burning young brothers! Aloha!
I'm a 61 yr old retired Ironworker & my feet were bouncing! Awesome brothers keep it up!! Real tight! # Respect!
Thank you for covering and doing this. Makes me think way back to when Master of Puppets was first handed to me on cassette and was told your gonna love this and to turn the volume up......... the rest is history.
I don't listen to Metallica that often but Orion has always been one of my favourite songs of all time. And you guys did a great job playing it!
Absolutely fantastic tribute and cover to one of the heaviest metal bands ever. I'm gonna certainly be on the lookout for more covers and definitely some of your own work. Bravo all the way!
..wait.. you meant ‘more of our own work and some of our covers’ .. right?! 🫣🤘🏻 thanks buddy www.mixedupeverything.com
Intense....... I'm 48 and grew up with genre of music........ Bravo!!!!!!!!! 👍
I always watch Metallica covers with absolutely no expectations. This one blew me away! Great take guys!
Really accurate…sounds almost exactly like Metallicas studio version…I appreciate this and it was fun to watch you guys playing it
Holy shit. That was INSANE. This album was incredibly transformative for me as a guitar player when I heard it as a teenager. Orion was especially mind-blowing to me, made even more meaningful after learning of Cliff's death. This cover absolutely nailed it. Brought tears to my eyes.
Man we seriously need to thank your folks! 🤘5:42 in is one of the most important parts of the song (to me) and you fellas nailed it. 47 years old and I've been listening to this song since it's release.
Such a wicked song!!! So many twists and turns! Dang you guys covered it perfectly!!
I'm 120 years old and approve of this cover.
I'm a 420 year old vampire, and I remember when Metallica played this at George Washington's inauguration.
This is the song that made me discover you guys on RUclips back then but now that i see this new cover I can really tell how much you evolved it's crazy.
Man y’all are spot on !
My first show was 1983, Cliff was still alive , and that sound took me back there !
Y’all phucking ROCK!
You guys absolutely smashed that. Very well done lads!
Can’t tell you how happy it makes me to see the new generation covering this truly EPIC Metallica song ! Boys you make us metal heads proud !! Absolutely this performance !!
OMG you guys blow me away with each song!!!!! So excellent ❤❤❤❤❤! You must do an album of your covers!!!!!
Unreal… thank you boys. Keeping the legend alive.
This has been my favorite Metallica piece literally since before I was born
Spot on. I've got chills and feel like I'm 13 again. Perfect rendition and everything was awesome 👍😎
Brilliant! Great production and camera work also.
5:45 dude knows they nailed it.....😎
У чувака, который под правую руку играет, даже гитара идеально так же звучит, как в альбомной версии оригинала. Респект :)
That snare sounds like a gunshot!! Great tone all of you!!
since the very first time I heard this song back in the early 90's, I fell in love with it. No idea why. it isn't fast, no words, and not that hard or complex to play. but for some reason it was always one of my favorites. Yall did a great job!
Yesterday I set my alarm at 4:45 am hating having to get up so early but pff if this is the way to start the day I will gladly get up 7 days a week like this!
Incredible video as always guys... Every day you manage to out do yourself and make me fall in love with your unique talent!!! None of you seem to be from this world 🤘🏻❤️
What a beautiful and amazing tribute!! Cliff gave us the best of him and left a huge mark on music... Someone like him only deserves the best and this is definitely... The best!! ❤️
