- I crashed the NC miata into the buttonwillow mud awhile ago and have finally gotten around to repairing the car. It will be back in action this coming weekend!

What sways are you running now Zent? I know in my last comment about your previous setup i thought your FRC indicated it would be understeering. I'm guessing as you put stickier rubber on, it made it understeer more hence the change?
I have a huge front bar. I still have a high front roll couple since I have no aero. 4th gear is grinding pretty bad now, so I’m leaving it in 4th in “sweeper” at buttonwillow and it currently won’t rotate when I lift off in 4th. I’m hoping the rear bar fixes this while still allowing me to drive flat out through “riverside”. The right way to fix this would be to get a new transmission but I don’t have time/budget for it😅.
Do you fly in from LA to do track days? I live in San Diego and the drive to buttonwillow/willow springs but it’s too far. Thinking about storing the car somewhere over there and flying in in a rental.
That would be ideal. I'm trying to figure out a similar arrangement for Buttonwillow. I'd bet a lot of people would do that because Buttonwillow is such a pain in the ass to get to.

Hey man, i have an nc1 miata and love it, but my dream car is a lotus elise. What would you say are advantages and disadvantages of an elise vs the miata.
NC is a fun car but the lotus is in another league if you are looking for a pure driver’s car.
Elise wins on every front except when you off it. Would be a lot pricier to repair clamshells.

Did you happen to install the offset bushings yourself?
Yes, for the bushings just grab a ball joint press. It takes about 15 min per side to install them if you have an impact gun.
