I love how they show the people standing on stage "playing" the game live. There's no way in hell they would do that and risk one of the players botching the whole mission, lol.

Because of the lack of the modern day story makes the actual assassin's story mediocre at best. ac 4 was the only one to pull it off without desmond and actually involve you in the modern day story. unity was a joke

1) no one plays THAT cooperatively. It's just a race to kill the target.

Ethereal Spirit 1. Of course they play if you play and communicate with people you know. Random people, that's another story.
2. Ubisoft always keeps their trailer missions away from the final game. They are very heavily scripted so they wouldn't work when you are actually playing.

Honestly I wish there was a mission like this in the game you blend in with a mob and try and take out your target while the guards are distracted with the people breaking in lol it would have been so cool and plus for me atleast it was a big selling point for the game I still enjoy it and play it on occasion 👍
In the Assassins Creeds based in Italy they all had Italian accents... here all the people in France have English accents... what’s up with that?
they should enable true french language as the original audio that's what i think!!!
maybe it has to do with the fact that the French are rather hated in general like in other countries? ( look at the eurovision song scores..)

I felt horrified by that ending,imagine for a second that you could see your body detached from your head for a few seconds,the chills.
It does happen sometimes, after death or decapitation, there has no oxigin supply, but you won't die because the brain emergency shut down is not active, in that few minute after decapitation, your brain can send out wrong and error signals, then your head will have muscles reflexes like eyelid, blink, face muscles moving or try to talk.
After few minutes, emergency shut down will activate, then you are fully brain death.

Alexander Dahl Ubisoft gameplay trailers never are. They are heavily scripted so they wouldn't work when you are actually playing. This building is the location for Marie Levesque assassination mission and its better than this because its not scripted.

My only problem with Unity was there wasn't enough of the French Revolution story line along with the plot. like the reign of terror was bearly touched on or shown. In my opinion anyway.

Ubisoft is fucking everything up. I don't normally give a shit about the "present-day" storyline but it stopped making ANY sense after AC3. Abstergo Entertainment? WTF. The animus machine that was so confidential in the first assassin's creed is now being sold to public? You are a present day templer? The game is ASSASSIN'S creed. WTF happened to Juno and those who came b4? It feels like an excuse to just get u into the "historical" portion of the game. Its like they don't know how to advance the present day story anymore.
Don't worry guys, it's Ubisoft, the graphics on the actual game release will be a lot worse than this. They did it to us with Assassin's Creed 3 and Blackflag along with Watch_Dogs. I'm fed up with Ubisoft.

What I don't understand is why they've moved BACKWARDS with the voice acting.
One of the largest complaints from the very first Assassin's Creed was Altair's ridiculous accent.. So what did they do for the next three games? They hired Italians! Roger Craig Smith also pulled off a very good Italian accent, too.
Why on Earth would they step backwards on this? The missmatch of English Cockney, Northern English, posh-as-fuck English and American in this video is just bizarre.
Not to mention they actually went to an effort in Revelations to replace Altair's voice actor with Cas Anvar, complete with a vague middle eastern accent. Shows that they actually care.

I'm pretty sure they explained why Altair didn't have an accent in the first game. It had something to do with the Animus eliminating it since Desmond doesn't speak with an accent as well as translating the spoken language to English.

I played this game in 2020 and it still so incredible , I guess after 20 years people are gonna still love this game , so I request Ubisoft to please create a remastered version for this game or a remake of story instead of thinking about black flag 2
This game is great and looks and plays exactly like this. I just wish other players were willing to play this tactically.
It bothers me that Ubisoft, a generally French-speaking company, would still use English accents instead of French accents for this game. Are AC2, Brotherhood and Revelations the only non-English games that got the accents right? I wanted to hear French accents in this game, dammit! xP

man, unity had its technical issues n stuff sure, but man did it try to deliver on what assassins creed fans really wanted from the series, improved stealth, improved free running, co-op, open ended mission design. hope ubisoft take a stab at it again some day.

Yeah it happens. The nerves in our brains don't immediately die so usually you're still somewhat alive for about 5-10 seconds with your head cut off.

A bit of dark science here. Antoine Lavoisier, father of modern chemistry. As his execution took place, the other scientists in attendance asked the man if he could hear them to blink. The head did as instructed almost immediately and with rapid succession as an indication to let them know how long he held consciousness. Facial expressions may also change and depending on how clean the cut was, may ultimately decide how quick the death was. If there was trauma to the brain, then they wouldn't last long. If it was a clean (guillotine) cut, then you'd actually keep everything until you fell unconscious. So you'd still hear, see and, very much, feel everything until you blacked out to unconsciousness. And then you'd die.
TL;DR: Clean cut > consciousness complete with facial control and reactionary function > unconsciousness > death.
Pretty grim if you ask me.

That's sort of good and bad. What I think was dumb in the Ezio trilogy was the fact that he was such an obvious member of the Assassin Order. When it's that obvious, it sort of defeats the purpose of being an inconspicuous Assassin. They've slowly been making the Master Assassins less and less obvious.
You can hardly tell when someone is a Templar on the surface, so why should a dying breed like the Assassins broadcast their lineage? True, the robes aren't cool and super flashy, but do they really need to be?

This is Co-Op gameplay. You're not playing as the main character I presume.
It's obvious you can customize your outfit. One other player had one similar to Ezio's, with the shoulder guard.

I think you can play singleplayer and play the campaign mission and you have co-op missions i guess, and i suppose there will be a free roam option.

Yes that's a stupid reason not to buy a game. BUT, I think you will be able to play as a female assassin in co-op as long as you aren't the host.
I do believe, as stated above, AC: Liberation has a female protagonist. Besides, 6-70% of gamers are male so.. It only makes sense to have mostly male protagonists, though I do think having the choice early on would be neat. Of course this would be difficult as the whole story would, in some form, of had to be re-written.
They said it would have been too much work to do female animations and all that. To me that just sounds lazy. As aways one AC a year without much effort and just because this is PS4 it won't be an different fromm the other games, I'm sure. At leat AC4 hat the whole pirate theme but now that they go back to the old formular I doubt that we will get anything special.

Jacota Lucian At least a lot of other game series tries to mix things up and add something to the gameplay/imporve it. AC has not fixed ANY of its flaws - the whole game looks as if it was a retextured AC1. They haven't fixed/improved the 1-button combat, "stealth" is just laughable (The Last Of Us had better stealth than AC) and graphically the game looks like a last gen PC port. Ubisoft keeps sticking with "what works" without trying anything new. The whole series became FIFA.
Kowen8714 Re textured AC1? That's a weird interpretation considering it's using a different engine as you can tell by the animations, like 3 and BF, a crouch and cover system, side quests, movement etc.

I hope you do realize that ubisoft is a massive company, with so many studios they can easily pump out these games, so it's hard to address issues when each studio has a slightly different vision of how the game should be.

I suppose every one of us has the quality bar at a different heigth. For me there were too few meaningful changes to the way games played. They just went with "don't fix what's not broken", even though a lot of things could have been improved.
And thats how Ubisoft shuts up mouths saying milking the franchise and that it looks every year the same. This is next gen!

I thought the game was going to be stupid, because of ships when I first heard, but if you actually try the game a try and play it longer than 2 hours the game is very interesting, Not to mention Assassins Creed without ships have very short story lines, A.C. 4 has a lot longer of a story because of the fact hes a Pirate/Assassin so hes caught up in the Assassins motive's and his own. It actually makes a game worth $60 when you don't beat the story the day you get the game. Trust me you'll most likely be a fan of A.C. 4 If you're a fan of the other ones. Along with the next one.
I enjoyed the ships when they were logical, but putting ships in this game would be pointless and have no real reason for being there. I mean it the French Revolution, not the Caribbean in the Golden Age of Piracy

Actually, after decapitation, the blood supply to the brain is cut off which means that the oxygen supply to the brain is also cut off which puts the brain in an immediate emergency shut down .. the subject immediately loses consciousness after the arteries that carry the blood to the brain are cut off .. my information about this is limited so .. I guess you can google it and see if I'm wrong

+Kwstas P. Perhaps you failed to realize they made Unity on a COMPLETELY new game engine. I expected it when I got it on Xbox One. After a few updates it was good. It wasn't crap, iust needed a few patches and bug fixes

That's basically what E3 is. The version of AC: Unity you see here is different from the one that was released. You can go back and check other AAA games like Watchdogs to see how they dial back the graphics. E3 is all for show.

most likely think co-op is just a new extended feature for the multi-player.
The main reason everyone is probably excited to get unity is because they are now letting you Co-op with other people in the main story which I hope this last for the next games

That a country of now citizens attacked by royal armies which then sees 1200 of his merchant ships taken in peacetime in british ports also sees a more "directive" change of leadership and begins to assemble a "grand army" to make those attacks cease seems quite natural.
There are horrible parts of the revolutionnary movement ( look, for instance, the "Terror", and all the crmes done by both sides ), but it was a huge improvement for society, not even counting the, later, "napoleon code" which is today the basis of most law systems in europe.
But of course, you can prefer the coalition which by trying to crush a democracy -by fear of seeing it later in their own countries- birthed an empire in France.
Have fun fighting for Russian nobles who want to keep their death/life decisionnal right on their serfs, payed by british gold ! :D
I would rather fight for the UK and if you remember Napoleons Empire was destroyed and It was not a democracy it was an absolute monarchy under Napoleon and after his defeat it was a constitutional monarchy under the bourbons it was not until the 1830s that France again became a republic
I would love to play an Spanish assassin during the Napoleonic wars. First of all, because I'm Spanish, secondly, because none ever remembers that our role in that war was crucial, and because Spanish history of that time fits so well with the AC lore. Plus, it is when guerrilla was invented, and that's something that suits the assassins a lot. The people who made the 1812 constitution in Cadiz could be assassins, and Fernando VII could be a templar. He was a total dick. That would be so freaking awesome.

I played the Xbox One Version of Assassin's Creed Unity gotta say it's quite excellent that the game took place at France, so Merci, Ubisoft.
I made it past the first naval battle in AC black flag. Then it got boring and now my son uses the game as a frisbee, he's 3.
I love assassins creed and ik some people so hate it. But using it as a frisbee (even if it is a joke) is just stupid why not just sell it for money or trade it in. There are many people who likes it that's y they make more.
I'm with you on Black Flag, combat was cool but overall, it's quite generic, with an average storyline. I hired it out and stopped playing after a day. I love the old ACs and as soon as No.3 came out, Ubi killed it for me. However, Unity does look pretty promising, won't hurt to give it a go.

Im starting to like this game but the end where his head is cut off was when i got shocked. How did he survive that fall, and he lasted only secomds without his body. Ewww. The reason why i like the game so much is because you see how interactove the citizens are! :-)
