This should’ve been the future of AC, not that rpg bullshit. It had amazing parkour, co-op and lots of customization. Ubisoft just took the critics to heart and didn’t fix what needed fixing, they got rid of everything that made AC what it was
This game was easily one of the best AC games however I have my opinions I understand why they evolved with Origins/Odyssey and soon Valhalla. Many may not be happy because we don’t have the old style of AC but it’s hard to do that when the timeline has changed to be so long ago. It wouldn’t make sense to make an Assassin Creed protagonist like the actual AC protagonist in a setting like Sparta and whatnot like Odyssey and certainly not with Vikings in Valhalla so I’m not upset. It’s a nice change from the repetitive gameplay we’ve got from many games. Nonetheless I did enjoy the old AC stealth style and Unity had the best parkour. Hopefully in the future we can find a timeline fit for the old style AC again. I also very much enjoyed Odyssey it was cool playing as a Assassin/Spartan and the DLC with the mythology felt like God of War truly amazing. I think it would be cool if Valhalla did the mythology also. I put over 150 hours into Odyssey I Platinum Trophy it too, so as someone who fully completed the game and DLC its a phenomenal experience. Until you’ve done it hard to have an opinion on the whole game. Because at first it’s repetitive and boring later it gets good. This amazing--apart from a few glitches here and there with the parkour and swapping models, the game looks amazing so far and could definitely be the best AC game Ubisoft has produced--they're on a roll, first Black Flag and now this, awesome and i'm so glad Arno is not a copy of Ezio. He feels more like an Altair-Connor hybrid--A badass, straight to the point, no-nonsense dude.
Every game has glitches. The question is how big they are. Here I just saw some clipping and slight hovering. These are almost impossible to avoid completely.
Adam Kerr In this video i've seen two glitches (well let's call them impossible-in-real-life glitch 1st at 5:17, the guy goes around it without any grabbing :p 2nd at 3:21, he nearly teleported himself, this isn't a normal jump
The end of 2014 and all of 2015 looks like an amazing year for gaming. Also kudos to Ubisoft for having an amazing lineup of highly anticipated games coming up like Assassin's Creed Unity, Far Cry 4, The Division, The Crew, and more can't wait!
The A.I. for Unity appears to be at the level of that in Black Flag. I have my fingers crossed that they didn't dumb down the perceptiveness of guards to make stealth easier on release (considering how they have stated that combat was put on lock-down). A guard sensitivity from Ac 3 would be preferable to me personally.
I wish they would allow you to choose between the different hidden blade models you want, double hidden blade, hook blade, hidden dagger, or the phantom blade, hell even a single blade, I think that would be badass
I remember this trailer well in 2014, when it came out, I don't know, this Assassins Creed has a special atmosphere for me, especially this trailer, I don't know why people hate this game so much, as far as I'm concerned, this game is one of the best in the series. yes, it was full of bugs, ubisoft over time smoothed out the game situation, honestly one of the big flaws in the game is that there is no dynamic day/night time. THE GAME HAS BEAUTIFUL PARIS, BEAUTIFUL STREETS, MANY PEOPLE ON THE STREETS, THE ATMOSPHERE IS TOO CRAZY AND THE FEELING OF REVOLUTION IS AT A GOOD LEVEL, ALSO SYNDICATE IS ALSO TOO STRONG ASSASSINS CREED, BUT LET'S BACK TO UNITY. UNITY DESERVES TO BE A FAVORITE OF MANY FANS OF ASSASSINS CREED, THERE IS A BIG FOCUS ON ASSASSINS HERE, YOU HAVE MANY DIFFERENT WEAPONS, MANY OUTFITS FOR ASSASSIN, HOW DO YOU WANT TO DRESS HIM, YOU ALSO HAVE CO OP MA PERFECT GAME MY RATING FOR THIS GAME IS 8.5
AC 2 is famous for being the definition of a good video game sequel. One of the many improvements was that Ezio had a heavy Italian accent which added a lot of realism. Yet in this game everyone seems to have a brittish accent including Arno. There might be some backstory behind it but literally every character who talked had a brittish accent. Other than that it seemed pretty good, gave me an "old school" assassin's creed feel from Ezio's era in the series. Might be because it takes place in europe and has a more similar architecture when it comes to churches and stuff.
If they downgrade the graphics of this game... Ubisoft is fucking stupid. They have done that enough times, i hope they have learnt from their mistakes.
Oh my god i am tired of those people whining about the downgrade, i don't think ubisoft is gonna be too stupid to make the same mistake twice, this game is gonna be released in few months only, watch dogs was downgraded after delaying the game probably cause the new gen specifics weren't as powerful as they thought but now they know it ,
Why do think Watchdogs is the only game of Ubisoft that had features taken out of it. I mean look at some of the gameplay trailers for the older Assassin's Creed games they barely change the dumbass AI from the first game.
فايز المطيري Not just to you but to everyone who refers to the downgrades as "mistakes": The downgrades are not mistakes, they are not slip ups. They don't make a great looking game and then suddenly realize it doesn't run well on consoles. They actually make a great looking PC version for advertising, use console controllers to fool console users into thinking this is what they will get aswell and then at the last minute they do all their optimization for the consoles and ship that console version on all platforms including PC. This is not a mistake, it is their deliberate strategy. Hype the game up with great PC graphics, then release a much less advanced console version on all platforms.
Field of View Not really, the only case was watch dogs, and if it wasn't for them deciding to go last gen as well, then it would have probably looked like at 2012. Also, you can't say they shouldn't have put it on last gen, because I doubt they would have gotten as many sales that way.
I spend two hours finding the right way in and out here, and familiar with every single corner of Notre Dame, at least I think I could say that. Just couldn't believe part of it has gone....
And i hope they polish the movements a bit more. Seems a little glitchy and not finished. I cant be the only one that noticed how Arno walked down those stairs for example.
I played this game in 2020 and it still so incredible , I guess after 20 years people are gonna still love this game , so I request Ubisoft to please create a remastered version for this game or a remake of story instead of thinking about black flag 2
It feels like AC2 and Brotherhood again seeing those kinds of places in Unity, I get this nostalgia. Awesome games, can't wait for Unity to come out!:)
3:20 What the fuck? I hope things like that are fixed by the time the game is released. Just zipping up a wall without actually having to climb it. Also at 5:15 when he just floats through the object.
***** How does that look natural?! It's at 3:21 to be exact. Not when he jumps on to the edge of the roof from the wooden bit, but when he (apparently) jumps up to grab the ledge. He doesn't jump. he just flies *very* quickly upwards and grabs the ledge.
WRONG! they use PC! Because they are more powerful, have higher resolutions (like 4k), higher frame rates (120fps) and its already been proven that the "consoles" they used at gamescom were actually PC's! i.imgur.com/zXKaEp6.jpg

filiprory Alright, let's not start a console war. I have PC so I really hope this is optimized a lot better than Watch Dogs was for PC.
canadianeh16 Yeah the Cathedral interior looks REALLY nice, as you said, attention to detail, makes a game far more immersive definitely.
The last BEST AC. Probably the BEST AC ever because of the Mechanics(stealth mode etc) , Paris (massive) , Combat , Weapons , Outfits etc.
One of the best AC games so far.
Lmgman Proman 79
What do you mean by saying "79" ?
79, 7+9=16, 1+6=7. Unity is simply 7/10. Not a great game, just good.
More like 4/10 at best
Skyponer I loved unity it's great (in my opinion)
“ by the time the smoke dissipates I’ll be long gone” Is 5 feet away from him.
I dont care what people think of Ubisoft, but I am looking forward to this game...
Oh yea? How do you feel now Mr Andy
Ubisoft donate money to French Nome Dame Cathedral in April 2019.
The Notre Dame fire brought me here.
I love how the french have a deep british accent, even though this game was made in montreal, A FRENCH SPEAKING PROVINCE IN CANADA
Hit Like If you are watching this even after AC Origins Release.
Even after Odyssey release.
Even after AC ''shityssey'' released
Even after, uh, during quarantine
Even after valhalla announcement
I have just bought Assassins Creed Unity from eBay for £9, I cannot wait to play it all again I so enjoyed it so much. I have played them all.
I can see many glitches. Hopefully this isn't the final build.
Every game has glitches. The question is how big they are. Here I just saw some clipping and slight hovering. These are almost impossible to avoid completely.
Велин Клисуров
I saw an AI frozed why doing an animation and those you said
agree movements are broken :D
Adam Kerr In this video i've seen two glitches (well let's call them impossible-in-real-life glitch
1st at 5:17, the guy goes around it without any grabbing :p
2nd at 3:21, he nearly teleported himself, this isn't a normal jump
I think this demo was prepared months ago only for Gamescom, Now the game is more advanced i wish
The end of 2014 and all of 2015 looks like an amazing year for gaming. Also kudos to Ubisoft for having an amazing lineup of highly anticipated games coming up like Assassin's Creed Unity, Far Cry 4, The Division, The Crew, and more can't wait!
We can enter the famous buildings, so cool, but will we have the tombs back? i loved these platform puzzles in AC2
The A.I. for Unity appears to be at the level of that in Black Flag. I have my fingers crossed that they didn't dumb down the perceptiveness of guards to make stealth easier on release (considering how they have stated that combat was put on lock-down). A guard sensitivity from Ac 3 would be preferable to me personally.
5:16 wtf jump :D
I wish they would allow you to choose between the different hidden blade models you want, double hidden blade, hook blade, hidden dagger, or the phantom blade, hell even a single blade, I think that would be badass
On 2:11 I was like,
"WE'RE FREE, FREEDOM BABY WOO! FREEDOM!!!!!"
Wow I'm speechless this game looks way better than I thought! I can't wait to play this! (:
Ac mirage: we are going back to the roots.
Also mirage: summons talion the grave walker powers.
I remember when I used to be an AC fanboy
4:38
2 Arnos. 1 falling down. And the video perfectly edited there. Only video editors can spot the transition there.
5:16
Gravity: wait thats illegal
It's so beautiful! I'm so glad I'm alive to see this awesomeness! :,)
2014..... and better than ac odyssey
The visual is stunning as hell! Sad it's have a same treatment as ac3 .Good game bad story :(
@@thanhduyvo9782 I can only hope for AC unity 2
@@thanhduyvo9782 Yeah, I thinks this could've been one of the best AC if they would've spend more time on story.
UNITY DESERVES TO BE A FAVORITE OF MANY FANS OF ASSASSINS CREED, THERE IS A BIG FOCUS ON ASSASSINS HERE, YOU HAVE MANY DIFFERENT WEAPONS, MANY OUTFITS FOR ASSASSIN, HOW DO YOU WANT TO DRESS HIM, YOU ALSO HAVE CO OP MA PERFECT GAME MY RATING FOR THIS GAME IS 8.5
4:27 the central spire and the rose windows
AC 2 is famous for being the definition of a good video game sequel. One of the many improvements was that Ezio had a heavy Italian accent which added a lot of realism. Yet in this game everyone seems to have a brittish accent including Arno. There might be some backstory behind it but literally every character who talked had a brittish accent. Other than that it seemed pretty good, gave me an "old school" assassin's creed feel from Ezio's era in the series. Might be because it takes place in europe and has a more similar architecture when it comes to churches and stuff.
Where is ps4 gameplay
Microcock payed Ubisoft to promote the game on ShitBox One probably due to the poor sales of the Xone
XxDestiny-RebornxX Wow, the must have been really desperate
XxDestiny-RebornxX just like they paid the tomb raider makers to have it exlusiv on xbox one
shinhay kyu Thank god it won't be exclusive forever
Microsoft is probably getting worried after 10m Ps4s and the have like 6m
Can't wait to play this. I loved AC4 and I am eagerly waiting for this one.
If they downgrade the graphics of this game... Ubisoft is fucking stupid. They have done that enough times, i hope they have learnt from their mistakes.
Oh my god i am tired of those people whining about the downgrade, i don't think ubisoft is gonna be too stupid to make the same mistake twice, this game is gonna be released in few months only, watch dogs was downgraded after delaying the game probably cause the new gen specifics weren't as powerful as they thought but now they know it ,
Yeah once. You fucking imbecile.
At this point, I don't care if they downgrade. It's everything I've wanted in an AC game. An area where there's variety and you can do what you want.
when the smoke clears ill be long gone walks out of smoke in to guards who dont give a shit
I spend two hours finding the right way in and out here, and familiar with every single corner of Notre Dame, at least I think I could say that. Just couldn't believe part of it has gone....
And i hope they polish the movements a bit more. Seems a little glitchy and not finished. I cant be the only one that noticed how Arno walked down those stairs for example.
na everyone did
Love all the small details in the animations!!
Assassin creed 2 finally has some competition. The story amd how they desgin the cutscens look way more interesting the ac3 and ac4.
What do you have to say now?
Alan George I was drinking a gallon of LSD when I typed that
Mr. Popo all in all the game wasn't bad on Xbox tbh I've experienced no bugs
This looks so freaking sick. Can't wait for it to come out!
So Arno has Superman-like hearing, and can read minds?
well he has first civilization DNA in him
Just like in all the AC, as i can remember :)
He also have x-ray vision to identify his targets (eagle vision).
Eagle vision
*****
Past AC games didn't have XRay vision, did they? The early ones I played didn't. Eagle vision didn't go through walls.
I'm so glad RUclips finally recommended me a good video.
Looks amazing.
I played this game in 2020 and it still so incredible , I guess after 20 years people are gonna still love this game , so I request Ubisoft to please create a remastered version for this game or a remake of story instead of thinking about black flag 2
Imagine this game with RTX support
maybe if will get 59fps~120fps.
@@danielhao5790 RIP graphics card.
Just look at the sheer amount of rays needed for each NPC.
This game never looks like this. Maybe the biggest downgrade ia in rhis game. Or second. Probably first one is watch dogs.
It feels like AC2 and Brotherhood again seeing those kinds of places in Unity, I get this nostalgia. Awesome games, can't wait for Unity to come out!:)
welcome back assassin creed..... !!!!
5:16 damn, that's what I call "blend in with the environment"
Quite literally
3:20 What the fuck? I hope things like that are fixed by the time the game is released. Just zipping up a wall without actually having to climb it. Also at 5:15 when he just floats through the object.
at 3:20 that is called a jump
pieceofpower231 That was *not* not a jump. He just zipped up the wall.
KRY Actually, that was pretty natural looking... The second one was sure a bug tho.
***** How does that look natural?! It's at 3:21 to be exact. Not when he jumps on to the edge of the roof from the wooden bit, but when he (apparently) jumps up to grab the ledge. He doesn't jump. he just flies *very* quickly upwards and grabs the ledge.
KRY ypu mean you dont do that when you jump?
6:33 That organ music is beautiful
I wish I knew what the song was called!! I would love to learn it!
They be using Play Station for all they demos and NOT the X-bone.
This is xbox one though
This Xbox can't you tell by the controller icons duh
WRONG! they use PC! Because they are more powerful, have higher resolutions (like 4k), higher frame rates (120fps) and its already been proven that the "consoles" they used at gamescom were actually PC's!
i.imgur.com/zXKaEp6.jpg
MrNoahomg happened at E3 last year as well when it was meant to be Next Gen consoles it was all being played on PC 😂
A PC air head had to arrive. Don't say anything when the game is released and has the same or better resolution on consoles.
so hyped to play this on pc , i think it will be well optimised because it is only for pc and nex gen
E3 parkour better than retail
Git good
I hope this game will be like the second AC. It looks so good!
Yay Altair was mentioned....
i know altair did alot but how was he a master assassin, barely fight and sucky parkour but then again ig it was good for 2007
Are you seriously basing Altair's off of the Gameplay mechanics of the first game??
thats y i said ig it was good for 2007
BEEN WAITING ALL DAY FOR THIS. *heavy breathing*
