omg, this. I wanna be you. ...at least part of me does. LOL One of my dreams is to co-own a Tea-house. No coffee. Coffee is located on every other street corner. I just want to do Tea and do it right. Including styles from different cultures such as China, Japan and India. Wouldn't that be amazing?!😄 Anyhoo, thank you for this. Blessings...
This is a lovely video! I wish I could find a video on RUclips that goes through the whole process, not just pouring, but also how to serve the sandwiches and sweets to guests (or how guests should serve themselves). And are all the foods finger foods or should a setting of silverware be at each place (knife, fork, spoon)? I love the little platform that you have for your teapot. Should the scones be split before one puts clotted cream on them?
Jessica L. Nelson Usually things are finger foods...just pick up from the serving plate with your fingers and set on your own plate. There is usually silverware next to your plate for the cakes and gooey items. Usually foods are made as finger foods.
Oh, forgot the scones. Yes, split them apart if they are tall....then put on your cream, then the jam and take a bite. You can even break off a piece of scone, add cream and jam and eat that one piece and go back into the cream and jam for your next piece...keeps the cream and jam clean that way.
No, simply for the fact that you don't use bags. You should have the tea freely circulating in the pot. Leaves first, then water. It'll stay hot longer if you rinse the pot with hot water prior to adding the leaves just to preheat it.
Sorry to say but you are not supposed to hold the tea cup with both hands ever: you hold the tea cup with one hand, other hand holds the saucer under the cup... just saying.
Thank you this was the most elegant tea party.
Thank you so much I'm throwing a tea party so I was looking for some idea's once again thank you

Thank you, I'm a male. As a Tea enthusiast I always invite my friends with this type of set up.
I'm becoming a tea enthusiast. I'm tired of the 'harshness' of coffee. And drinking from mugs.
thank you this video helped me throw a tea party for my friends! ;)

Hello. Can you please share where you purchased the sugars? Thank you.
They are from Chambre de Sucre www.chambredesucre.com/products/sucrerond
I always wondered so do you prepare the water in a tea pot them let the tea bag sit in the kettle?
No, simply for the fact that you don't use bags. You should have the tea freely circulating in the pot. Leaves first, then water. It'll stay hot longer if you rinse the pot with hot water prior to adding the leaves just to preheat it.
You would be hungry 5 minutes after that afternoon tea!
It may seem obvious but I'd like a break down .
I would drink tea with you.
hi
was it imaginary tea?

This is so demure
Not how I would do it, but whatever.
