My Uncle and I loved this song, it was our favorite song by Leonard Cohen. He passed away several years ago from Cancer. I found Amanda today through looking up recent Richard O Brian episodes. I knew right there Amanda was talented, but I didn't realize everything she did was Amazing. So glad I found her.

Flows much better played at x1.25 imo. Just saying, so others can experiment with it as well.
Does anyone else find the choruses in Cohen's songs so out of line? Just like in Hallelujah or Going Home, in this song they just seem to interrupt the "drive" of the song. Even in the (unfortunately only) live concert I saw of him, I felt like the gospel singers were doing one thing and he was doing something else
A little bit too tragic. Cohen already accepted this all, and you still struggling. Relax and let this grow through until there's no way out.
But i like that version anyway.

a perturbing elegiac quality, a "bottom"- I don't generally - like ANYBODY touching Leonard but, Amanda has added something- I always think of every one of Cohen's songs as "complete" and covers- endless covers of Hallelujah, I won't blather on... miss L.C.
