Two things, unless you swapped it, that truck is a 5.0 L Windsor, not Coyote like the thumbnail says. Second, those trucks won't throw a code with no cats, they only have one 02 sensor before the cat. My daily is an 89.
AutoZone crate will be a Windsor. Was pretty sure it sounded like one. Still a very solid engine platform. My truck is 302 and my parents have a 94 351.
My truck has no cats and a Flowmaster Purple Hornie glasspack on stock manifolds. Still pretty quiet at idle, but sounds good opened up. Sounds really sweet at 3500+rpm.
I like the sound of it both ways quiet and with a little rumble, and I was surprised it wasn't louder than it was after you took the muffler off. If you really want to make it loud run open headers. The engine sounds healthy.

It's a mustang 302 from '89 so not a coyote but it's a built Windsor.
