If that's original paint it's an awesome survivor with the original oem belts and spark plugs that's insane.

Nothing better than a cement pad carport for perfect storage.
The only thought in my mind was that it was an extra truck. It was parked and just never got back around to getting it on the road 😔 We can’t wait to share the clean up! Thank you!!

This was my pop’s favorite truck, early 1980s short body, brings back memories of him talking about it non stop when he would see one around town! Can’t want to see the rest of the series!

I bought a long wheel base exact same color back in 2002. It had been hit in the left rear bad. I stripped the drive train and swapped it into my dad 86 short wheel base that was 300 in-line 6 and 3 on the tree. I miss that truck. I built it from the ground up. Don’t do drugs kids because that is why I don’t have it any more. I get sick to my stomach every time I think about what I lost. Been clean for 15 years now

Here in OZ that would set you back about $20kau in the condition you found it. F100's are premium buys here in OZ.

Heck yeah. I love them ol Fords. I have a 93 F150 extended cab 4x4 302 myself, it's my project/baby lol. Them ol ford's won't die easily by any means & that's why I love em, last practically forever. That truck, the interior is great, once it gets detailed it'll be mind blowing nice.

Wish I could find a bull nose needing some love in as good a shape as that one. Don't remember them coming with a 4bbl 302 and AOD. I remember the EFI and AOD... Learned something new

I hope you do a video where you pressure wash/clean all that dirt and grime off of the truck as there's just something about watching an old car or truck being cleaned after seeing out in a shed or an abandoned building for many years collecting dust, dirt and grime.

This is my absolute favorite generation of Ford truck. I'm dealing with the same brake problem with my 69 Mercury Monterey from it sitting. The issue I have is parts sourcing for that car though. Can't wait to see more updates on this truck!

Excellent video Budget Buildz Mike :) also be nice top the Air Conditioning pump also see if hold recharge and no leaks to on Fluid too! Great find for that year of pick up and nice condition so far! Hopefully see more videos soon too also watch fix up more! Also put grey bottle of STP Total Treatment fuel injection and carb cleaner in fuel tank too each month plus 89 or higher octane gas in too ! Don't forget change PCV Valve on Valve cover too!

WOW! I had this exact same year and model trim front bumper bars Duel fuel tanks and the AOD didnt lie a teenagers heavy right foot. Mine was Black with red in the middle and had factory cruse control. This brings back memories. (Mind you this was in 96=99 I think.)

Not really a ford fan but they have made a few that I have liked. I hope for the best from this survivor from my teenage years.

Interesting watch, not something I'd save. The last good looking Ford truck was a 1979. I had a 78 F-150 with a 460. I blew a power steering hose taking a 90° turn at 50 mph (a fella one year younger did it in his Ford truck so I had to attempt it) successfully I might add.

I had an '85 F150 Super Cab, that I wish I still had. Bought it new in Dec 84 and drove it for several years. Also a 302 auto trans.
Very nice! Being from Minnesota I’ve never seen a bullnose with the rear wheel wells or cab corners in tact yet!

Check the butterfly flap in the end of the exhaust manifold where it bolts to the exhaustion systemake sure it's not seis East or you burn. The valves
Bull nose ford i like them , driving so many , bought a 82 & gave it to my Dad , he drove it for 12 years . Bought a few for parts , never had one of my own , how ever when snow is gone , got 3 of them lined up for cheep ! PS i always wash them before i work on them , unless i revive them in the woods ! Lol , well done gentle man ! Well done , takes me back a few years or and few decades ! Lol

Nothing beats an old Ford truck I have 6 of them and all they ask for is oil and gas and they will take you anywhere you want to go and guarantee they bring me and my family home every time
