Would love to see the possibility to use my future Aptera battery to server as home power backup in conjunction with a external grid disconnect/inverter, ideally integrable with a existing home PV system. V2G -- guess that requires a more intelligent grid to make sense. Also love any extra storage "holes" below the cargo area if there is dead room available! Q: Will the "board computer(s)" have a bit extra capacity for future add ons and will it be accessible for custom/own "hacks" for what so ever may be fun to add? Will the camera video feeds accessible...?

Aptera as an airport rental car! Any single person or couple who is traveling will enjoy the fuel savings Aptera offers. It has premium speed, acceleration, sound, and less road noise with plenty of cargo space. Starting under $30,000. It seems like every rental fleet would do well to have at least 10% of their fleet be Aptera. Less maintenance with lower costs for tire, suspension, and brakes from the 3 wheel electric design. This is Tesla's $25,000 robotaxi. If Tesla built these in 2 years with their low battery & electronics costs, they could make a 4-wheel 5-seat version for $25k.

Thanks for posting the 2nd half of the webinar. 0-60 in under 3 seconds seems unreal with the tri-motor 150kW (210HP), even with the low weight. I am very interested in the V2G, but even vehicle to load capability. Powerwall cost is $5K-$8K, and stores a fraction of the power of even the smallest Aptera battery pack. So being able to run appliances and lights in a power outage has value to me (in CA). Heated and cooled seats are also compelling. I have heated seats now and it uses a fraction of the EV power compared to inefficient electric space heaters. Adding a heat pump would be ideal. As they dial in the motors and software, I am eager to see some real world testing of range.

i have been wondering about using the shell as battery! also for the idea that you'd have an opening for radiator, maybe you can just make more conventional radiator but it sits flush with body so it is like part of the skin of car. not sure how skin cooling works exactly but maybe you could combine the two ideas in this way. dont see why a radiator couldn't be an aerodynamic form? imagining an aluminum radiator thats sits flush with body work (wherever you have highest airflow over body maybe?) and maybe has some fins sticking past body surface that heat can radiate out of. also could consider how radiating out the heat over certain area of body would augment aerodynamics. thinking of the hot air as lower pressure so maybe radiating it out the nose of the vehicle to lower pressure at the nose? also assuming your composite materials could take the heat you could probably form radiator out of that. molding pathways into panel and having an inlet and outlet to connect to.

    3 Wheels; Handling/grip:
You can draw a flat plane through any 3 points in space, but not 4 points.
ie: On an uneven surface a 4 legged table will always wobble/ have one leg in the air.
But a 3 legged table never wobbles. All the legs always touch the floor, no matter how uneven.
What that means is that even without suspension, the Aptera will always have all 3 wheels on the ground.,
When you add a suspension that fact is likely enhanced..?
With the high unsprung weight of hub motors (and unnecessary brakes), 3 wheels is probably better than 4 due to the above fact..?
However; having the Aptera lean into corners would be great! More stable and more fun! :)
I have some ideas on how to easily do that..

Do you agree with Musk that LIDAR & RADAR just don't have the useful resolution needed for unmapped nav?
It seems like, so long as vision can discern object approach/departure rates (ranging) via binocular analysis, its high resolution abilities will relegate other methods to the FSD dust bin. Also, enhanced IR & UV, cameras can give riders a sense of a "protective buffer" that beyond human vision capabilities may provide, especially in inclement conditions.

Actually, I think there is a possibility that the manufacture of the Aptera will be largely influenced by the creation of a lot of small factories designed to assemble the Aptera.
As the body parts are made of resins and cast presumably in molds of some sort (I have the impression they're a lot like small aircraft or boats in this way) a RHD vehicle would need to only modify a few castings to work plus the switch in geometry of the steering location (assuming the steering is not all drive by wire.)
In that kind of rollout, I suspect RHD vehicles will be made in RHD countries when they open a mini-factory.
As this video shows, they have the design work for the mini-factories well under way and so know the capital requirements. With the motors from Elaphe and the suspension parts, seats and the like largely off the shelf, assembly will be benefit local areas by employing local people to put 'em together.
The overall simplicity of the process and that part placement in the vehicle is easily accomplished by workers - two can handle and place major body components - is where the manufacturing gains its efficiencies without robots or cranes.

I would caution the seat designer that the integrated headrest appears to force the head into a hunchback - type position. Some adjustability, or at the least, allowing those with normal postures to avoid the induced problem. I have had it on some autos, and do not recommend the design that appears to force retrolisthesis. It is EXTREMELY irritating to anyone trained, as are dancers, to be pushed into the position.

He hinted that owners could install their own AP software/hardware if they'd like as well. Honestly it would be great if Tesla bought Aptera. V2G makes no sense for a vehicle this light. Makes far more sense to let utility scale equipment handle it (batteries, flywheels, cryo air). Solar on the car is useful for convenience and solar on homes makes sense because of broken economics. It will always be more efficient to do solar at the utility scale. Home roof and car top solar shouldn't exist until we have exhausted available flat roof commercial buildings and land is a concern.

The battery and unit numbers is tiny compared to anything grid scale and unless its LFP a car based battery should not be used on grid. Also the aptera if used as marketed wont often be plugged in often anyway; the solar charging is a huge conveyance for those it works for. V2G also requires hardware to be added to both the car on home which might be a drop in the bucket for a cybertrucks weight but not aptera.
