"...Things that don't change..." The analogy to Porsche is quite apt. I bought a 2012 Carerra because the line reminded me of the original concept by Ferdinand Alexander Porsche. Now there is a 2022 Porsche GT3 that really looks a lot like my car despite none of the parts being compatible. I appreciate that my 2012 Porsche looks like the 1963 concept model and also the 2022 model. I'd love to see Aptera take the same general approach. AF

Curious if they considered placing the rear view cameras on the front tires instead of little wings. Also would like to know what kind of curb it can hit. Driveways around here often are just a curb. While I don’t think the car will bottom out, the skirts on the wheels may not handle the shape. That has been asked before. They answered that they have no plans for that because it would not save you significant money, because assembly is so simple. It would only complicate things such as shipping and developing instructions. If fact it may cost you more to acquire the tooling needed to build one.
Maybe you would like to apply for a job at one of their factories. They are planning to open them around the country and the world as they grow production.

I don’t want to be bashing anyone but here goes…. For the DEVC being a group devoted to Electric vehicles you all seem incredibly stupid as to what Aptera is and does or how it works! Aptera didn’t just appear this year, it has been coming for sometime and has taken part in some long endurance competitions where I was first introduced to Aptera. I find it hard to believe a group of individuals dedicated to electric vehicles seem to be oblivious about Aptera. I have been patiently waiting for these vehicles to become available and now I’m ready and not only for the first design I’m ready for the introduction of another design that increases to passenger capacity to 4 or more occupants. Keep up the great work Aptera. And I would assume a lot of people on the east coast affected by the Colonial Pipeline issue would love to have this vehicle NOW!

I wonder if Apple is interested in the Aptera (??). I am convinced Apple would be the natural partner for Aptera. Tesla/Toyota are going to manufacture a mass market EV like the Windows PC. The Aptera has much more in common with Apple’s iMac, it is superior car technology. Apple’s smart car patents combined with the Aptera could be truly revolutionary.
