The developer is not going to absorb that, they are here to make money, they are here to make a profit so, the "that is not worth $79mil JMD" comments I'm with you it's not, but they are being sold though. These houses are not made for you, it's hard to hear but there will be winners and losers, pick one side.
I never cry on price. I just stay in my lane. If I can afford something then fine. If I can't, I just can't. The average person does not really understand the concept that overpriced for you is chump change for someone else which is who these homes are being marketed to.
I liked the presentation of the video overall, but I have to say even though the home is being built to specification from the buyer, I was unimpressed. From with the white closets doors which seem basic, the small dark kitchen, the windows should have been a bigger custom size (hurricane resistant) to bring in those majestic views and natural light in the interior and to add to that I pay this price and I share the complex with 4 other households. Smh. Also, not quite liking the two different floorings dark upper and white lower. Would have like some consistency throughout but that is minor. I hope the owner intends to change those bathroom fixtures. They don't carry off the overall look of the nice sink. Master closet seems small but that may be due to the dark wood. Exterior wise, not bad. even though the grass already needs attention as Zoysia will attract weeds which will spread if left unchecked and I noticed a few out there. Loved the porcelain tiles of the second unit. I understand the cost as to do with the area but smh... I must say your voice is great. very soothing.

Nice house but don’t know about 79000000. I don’t understand. I don’t think Kingston offer the kind of amenities that warrant these cost. If UHWI was a first world level one trauma center , and Kingston has at least one luxury shopping mall then I could understand l, but as of now it’s m confused….
Thank you for your comment. As it stands, the law of supply and demand is reigning true. At the moment, seemingly no matter the value people are buying them so the prices will continue to look like this.
The flooring on the main floor is a no for me, not to mention the wall tiles in the master bath doesn’t compliment the dark cabinet. The first floor is more tasteful and beautiful, the light fixtures are cheap. The are over the water tank is wasted space a nice seated area would have been great with access to and from the pool area. For 79M the only wow factor was the view really, I guess you’re mostly paying for location.
Why would I buy a townhouse for that much in an area where I can get a detached house? That much money for no privacy? I don't think so. Developers too greedy. Showers look cheap and outdated as well. All that money for that little weird shaped shower 🥴
The unit I was showcasing was already sold and those were the finishes that were selected by the home owners. Thats the beautiful thing about a house there will always be a buyer. Thank you for commenting and I do hope that you will find other homes on my channel that you actually like
My only issue is why can't they fix the roads to complement the houses. The community should get the government to do proper landscaping so that way homeowners can get alot more when they sell
The two better houses you get in Florida are not made put of concrete and steel nor their foundations have any depth maybe 6 inches. And pure board and drywall so the least little breeze blow they are demolished. HERE YOU get houses to last. See it takes 5 minutes to tear down the biggest structure there. Lol

In FL the land, materials, labor, and taxes would run about $1mil USD for the same quality, and not to mention the views. However, this is still a lot of money around $540,000 USD, you have to understand that these houses are not made for the average Jamaican. These are made for the top 5-10% of earners whether that be good, bad, or "foreigner" money.
