Queen Dee you did a brilliant job filming that beautiful neighborhood and the stunning views! You deserve an award for this excellent work my love!!!!🏆🏆🏆🏆
Excellent production, Dee. It's Red Hills!
The area you were filming the view from in red hills is called look out....
Why is it she keeps saying Jamaica is not just about ghettos?Jamaica has never been advertised as a ghetto. Dee I think you should do your research about Jamaica, before believing everyone opinions. Enjoy your visit to beautiful Jamaica 🇯🇲
@@courtneyhewitt5434I agree. Maybe that’s how it is portrayed in Africa. Everywhere else in the world Jamaica is viewed as paradise. Jamaica is highly respected throughout the world and is one of the most well known third world countries with our music , food and dominance in sports.
Cherry hills, Queen Hills, Chancery Hills, Beverly Hills, Plantation Height, Russell Heights, Smokey Vale, Stoney Hills, Armour Heights, Great House Circle in Havendale and a lot more to mention.
Michael, I've never heard of most of these places. I only heard don't go to Kingston. I had the pleasure of going to cherry and red hills and, A ME fi tell you, I WAS nothing but impressed. I really was. Blessings on our sweet Jamaica 🇯🇲
Now I will look them up
Majority of Jamaica are residential and less ghetto areas, a lot of people don’t know this
Smokey vale cherry gardens and st jago heights are clearly the best with the later have the often hidden old money
What about Chrry Gardens , Norbrook
Dee, I'm a Jamaican living in Canada. Aside from Africa, there is nowhere in the world like Jamaica. Jamaica is truly heaven on earth. We are the best in the resort lifestyle, best in culinary dishes, best for its oceans, beaches, rivers, falls, entertainment, excursions, must I go on? Actors, entertainers, and so many more are building, buying, vacationing, and gravitating to Jamaica in record numbers. JAMAICA, YEAH MAN!!
Your outfit is gorgeous. Most of these ppl who owns these houses are not rich they just work very hard and build slowly.
Is that so ? I would like to be poor and own one of those mansion in red hills.
Dee, Jamaica has been a tourist destination for many years. The Jamaican government spends millions of dollars promoting tourism on the island, and because of that millions of people visit the island. So, no one thinks Jamaica is a Ghetto. Jamaica is known throughout the world for its beautiful beaches, sunshine, blue skies, reggae music, and delicious cuisine. The island was never considered a ghetto. Yes, we have poor areas with social problems, but we are not known for ghettos. In fact, the Caribbean is not associated with ghettos. The entire region is considered as a paradise. So please stop saying that Jamaica is not a ghetto. Because no one ever considered the island or the Caribbean to be a ghetto. The whole region is a tourist destination; it's a place where people come and enjoy the beauty of nature, not a ghetto. It's a world class designation!
Am becoming weary of her making that statement, she should do her research before making assumptions
Me too she needs to leave the inner cities and go see the rest of the country. It's like all them youtubers coming there now only wants to go to those places and paint a bad picture on the country. Look at how Christ must list took Coco boy first day to the inner cities. Then he thinks he can go there on his own and he can't even understand the patois. His first content title spreading propaganda. If they continue to do these things, we need to stop support them.
Yes. Sick of hearing about Jamaica being a ghetto. I grew up in Jamaica, went away to school/ university and then back to work. Now once again living overseas. I have never been to any of the places Dee focusing on and highlighting. I have all family, relatives and friends (living in all 14 parishes) who never lived overseas and live “large” as the saying goes. Better than most people working and living overseas.
A lot of people in the states think n believe that never leaving outside dem home
Your are so right jamaica is not know as a GETTO country you got that wrong.
It's paradise so please stop saying that.
Thanks
Dee, the beautiful homes in Jamaica are not exclusively owned by rich Jamaicans. The shared amount of beautiful homes versus the island's population clearly indicates that. You will find these type homes in all fourteen parishes. More than 70% of the houses you are viewing belong to not rich, but ambitious hard working Jamaicans who take pride in owning a home. Oh, that high school is not only for the rich. There are no high school or college in Jamaica that only house the rich.
Jamaica has a myriad intelligent people your age and older, to obtain accurate information you should try engaging more of those individuals. Try talking to more females, not saying the men are not intelligent, but you are more likely to find a female who will explain things eloquently and accurately. Yes, I said it! You men, don't bother coming for me; you know I am speaking the truth.
Stop the "yu zi me" nonsense and make an effort to communicate sensibly.
One Love
Yes!
100% agree with your comment
Dee please engage with people who live in these areas not just stereotype and think they are “the rich”. Many are just hardworking Jamaicans. Middle class but not rich as you think.
I agree
Women in Jamaica will say 'yu zi mi' if having a conversation with close friends and wants to say 'you get me' in a casual or fun way
So right
@@Angela-qs4cz How does one define "Rich People" since it can be defined in different ways. I saw a few homes that had vehicles parked in the yard that needed some work done. Those homes are not so great, as compared to the scenery where they are located. It is the location which is very important, as well as the lush greenery and mountain curved roads with a quiet environment.. Sort of like "Rancho Palos Verdes" area between the Long Beach - Los Angeles metropolitan area..
You should visit Mandeville Manchester if you like houses, you won't regret it.
Yes, Dee. Mandiville is a place with some of the biggest houses in Jamaica 😊
Definitely mandeville
Hi Dee... I Am in USA watching You... I have Properties in Jamaica and What You are looking at in those Upper class Neighborhoods are the Future of All Jamaican Communities.
Been with you since u had only 1000 subscribers ..now ur here promoting my beautiful island....deeee ❤
You are the best we've come from far ❤❤
Thanks for showcasing how professional and upperclass Jamaicans live. These homes are not generally owned by foreigners but professionals and business owners.
Dee Jamaica is not really poor, half or more of Jamaica is rich. In all 14 parishes people have land and nice houses and businesses. A great portion of Jamaicans are also very educated. The ghettos are few compare to the rest of our beautiful rich island. You were misinformed about the island my dear Dee. Born and live here over 60 years, I know my island. 14:21
She is only talking about what she sees in the news, as someone not native to Jamaican they are told Jamsica is dangerous etc. So if she keep saying it's not just ghettos is because thats the info she was provided about Jamaica. As she said several times Jamaica is not what she expected. So she is not the one putting out a negative narrative, she is actually promoting Jamsica saying hey don't listen to what they say about Jamaica being ghetto.
@@soniasadventure7962 Yes I don't where they get this information on Jamaica. All I know we are richer than most countries and we live well. Ghettos will always have a hard time because of their mentality. All I know our island is rich as rich can be . Yea it has gotten expensive and violent but again the mentality of the youths these days.
@@soniasadventure7962she is not.. so please listen to her with understanding she keep saying Jamaica is not what they put in the media which is which is poor and poverty..
@@soniasadventure7962
Dee did not create the image and stereotypes about Jamaica. The internet, the Jamaican media and the international media has been showing only stories about violent crime happening in Jamaica. Most of the stories on this topic are posted by Jamaicans on this platform. There are many channels that just post crime scenes.
Jamaica's image on the internet is so bad that I was afraid to even visit when I lived in the USA and I am Jamaica. When I moved back to live here I started to see that Jamaica is not an island wide ghetto.
@@soniasadventure7962 Trust me most people outside of Jamaica think so because they learn about Jamaica through our music/ entertainment and of course many of our musicians are from the inner city and even if they are not, they pretend to be. @deemwango is from Kenya, where they really love Jamaica but are misinformed. It is good for her to show Jamaica as her brother @iammarwa and her are two of the biggest youtubers in Kenya. It is a good look for our island.
Not sure which media is promoting Jamaica as a “ghetto”, maybe in Africa. Elsewhere in the world Jamaica is viewed as beautiful with turquoise water and white sandy beaches. It is also famous for its music and fastest runners, I am not sure where that narrative is being portrayed.
Just like Africa they always show the worst.
Girl ! You did an amazing job!!!!!! Am a Jamaican in my late 40s never travel out of Jamaica and some of the places I see you ventured in here I would never go. Hats off to you 👏🏾. Wish I could subscribe more than once so you could reach the 400k
Dee that place is call look out, if you go there at night its very beautiful, you're overlooking Kingston and portmore 🇯🇲❤️🇺🇸
All you need to live in Jamaica is money, you have money no problem. Things are expensive but you can live if you have a decent job or have a business.
Thanks for showing jamaica in all her glory iam a Jamaican and i love jamaica 🎉🎉🎉🎉one love you should buy a house in jamaica Dee🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
Mandeville Jamaica is beautiful 🎉
Dee you have the vibes of Jamaica. You can live anywhere in the world. Big up yourself. ❤
Thank you, Thank you for highlighting the good and the bad things about of Jamaica. Others who highlight the island they only show the negative side. Jamaica is beautiful, both sides.
I know of no country in the world that doesnt have goodand bad.
Dee you looks just as beautiful as the areas you're in...yes jamaica is magnificent...and you're right in every country and island you have ghettos ...enjoy your self be safe 🙏
Jamaica is Paradise mon. I have a house in the country side of Jamaica, beautiful big houses all over the Island
Most of you deal drugs abroad and scamm to afford these homes .And the thieving corrupt perverted politicians
Jamaica is about tourism, we are number one in the Caribbean , cruise ships, luxury hotels. Millions of tourists per year.
That area was Chancery Hall not Red Hills because on your way back from off the hill, you passed Meadow Brook High School. Most high schools are public except for one or two of them which are private and it is your grades that counts whether you are rich or poor you would go to the public high schools. The higher your grades you go to the best high schools.
Dee your compound looks as good as any part of the world youve attend your compound look like a paradise to me
Nice and beautiful beautiful Jamaica 🇯🇲 ❤thank you for visiting my beautiful island 🏝
You really captured the beauty of our island. I could not stop crying! Jamaican land we love.
Hi Dee, please go to Mandeville in Manchester, there you will see, beautiful mansions, Mandeville is also the coolest Parish in Manchester
Thank you ❤❤❤❤
Your other video "Jamaica is not just the ghetto" in Ironshore Montego Bay has permanent lasting effects in a beautiful way. Thanks for showcasing that.
Magnificent.. That's my country.no way no better than Yard.
Love your video
That's how it is. Big up Jamaica ❤❤😮
Thats is how most Jamaican live, you can find places like this in all 14 parishs.
Ensom City is a lovely community. I used to live there. It is still a peaceful beautiful community.
Great listings. Love the video.
Nothing new in the stores😊
Go visit Cherry Gardens , Hope Pastures , Norbrook , Stoney Hills , Smokey Vale , Spring Hill , Jacks Hill and Orange Grove .
Dee you are so beautiful I can’t believe its Jamaica 🇯🇲 so gorgeous and beautiful I’m Jamaican living in USA I from Montego Bay. Red hills is beautiful ❤you Dee blessed up yourself 🙏
That's not true. Meadow Brook is not a school for the rich. Your driver is clueless.
The driver is not from Kingston!!!
Thanks for sharing Dee Mwango, stay blessed 🙏
Beautiful neighbourhood, great views ! Thank you for sharing ❤❤and I agree with you, NO room for free loaders 😂
Thanks for watching!

Merry Christmas!
You've notice things are missing that you know you have purchased.
That's why everybody keeps telling you stop telling the world you live alone.
Living behind gates is not 100% secure.
A thief or criminal will found a way to get into those gates.
Either Shane or Kino has been stealing from you?
Neither one of them have a lot of money.
You can't say which one is stealing from you?
It could be one or both?
Jamaica has a very high poverty rate like Africa.
Most of the Jamaican people are living in poverty.
Your stuff coming up missing is your warning.
You have been warned.
Now you have to pay much more attention to your valuables.
An the people you be around.
Kino wants to bring those women into your living space.
No!
Because something may come up missing?
Your the only vlogger showcase Jamaica as not a ghetto but show develop Area all RUclips showcase Jamaica as zinc fence and ghetto tell dem stay far from The island ,when people an my family came from America they're surprised how so much big house are in Jamaica now
You must see Mandeville, it has best houses and climate
Dee , your outfit is just gorgeous, and you're so beautiful !I prayed for you .🙏 keep up the good work, beautiful !
While neighborhood may be a reflection of wealth, the size of ones house do not, in Jamaica for the most part, which may be very different from what Dee is accustomed to. I often smile seeing how Dee gets overly excited on these trivial things, I do not believe most Jamaican do or care.
Those nice Jamaican homes are like huge mansions compared to Dees village life experiences where roads are mostly muddy grassy areas without pavement, and many people walking around with baskets and packages on their heads, and domestic animals loitering around in the yards..
@@etruscancivilization😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣👍👍
Most jamaicans love a big house and a nice car.. one could say is our motto 💚💚✅️✅️🇯🇲🇯🇲
Dee, this is my community where I lived all my life, before migrating, and it's not only rich people live there, most of population is pore or middle class, but people with ambition. And there are rich people also, in your vlog you keep saying that Jamaica, is not a ghetto, Jamaica was never a ghetto, but there are poor area's in the country also, just like any other country.
Maybe Dee assume the ghetto idea about Jamaics because of Reggae music which often sing about struggles..
Any Jamaican child can go to that's school you don't have to be rich my dear, also Ghetto areas is 5% of Jamaica, the others parts are, Cities, Rural areas, Superb, Town area, Small communities and the deep rural countryside, so don't let no one tell you different and you don't see houses until you go into St James especially Mobay.
Nice dear friend Dee Mwango beautiful view 👌👌👍
Every time i watch your videos it brighten up my day. Keep on doing good and affect the world in a positive way.
You went to a ghetto in Spanish I want you to show your viewers an upscale community in that area like St. Jago Height. As a people most of us are middle class but if we get the chance to any property we are going work hard and go all out on the design
Dee you think them house big and nice wait until you go st James and mandeville
Hi Dee Mwango ! I am so happy to see you enjoying beautiful Jamaica with its beautiful warm and friendly People. Welcome home Siste.
I do want to enlighten you on a certain topic though.
Those beautiful house that you see and love so much are not always only for the rich people as you keep saying. We have great builders and designers in Jamaica.
Local and middle class people have gorgeous house scattered all over Jamaica. You dont have to be rich.
U just need to be able to start the foundations , then build at your own pace and your own property wherever that is.
Wow that was a really beautiful neighborhood in Jamaica RedHills. I’ve visited Jamaica myself and never saw that beauty. Thank you so much for your content.❤❤🌹🌹👍🏾🐝
Dee, that is the average lifestyle in Jamaica, that's how majority of houses are, and people who lives in those houses don't consider themselves rich 😊😊.
That's just how we roll in Jamaica.
What beautiful big house there in Jamaica Dee Mwango and just love the view where you are at Dee ❤❤❤
Hi Dee, wow your outfit is beautiful as you are.
Your videos are awesome, traveling around Europe and into other countries
You are so brave, smart, kind and lovely friendly to everyone you just met

Nice! Beautiful! Where the rich people live in Jamaica! BIG UP YUH SELF 🇯🇲 Hi queen Dee, I’m digging your outfit.
These houses are every where in
Jamaica, even in the rural areas, not only rich people live in these types of houses, ordinary ,middle class people also.
Dee there is a lot more to my Jamaica than you think lot thing
Dee Tourist Boarď should give you a thumps up
DEE U NEED TO GO TO DUNNS RIVER FALL AND RICK'S CAFÉ IN NEGRIL PLEASE GO BEFORE U GO BACK HOME
Dee, Jamaica has been a tourist destination for over a hundred years. Begining with the Famous Doctor's Cave Beach. Portland use to be a famous tourist destination, as you have seen in those old movies. Dee you have to just drive around, and see the different places, You have seen a lot of reggae singers singing, with ghettos in the back ground of their videos, but that does not mean Jamaica is all about ghettos, 2% of it is ghettos. Dee please visit Ras Chucky, and Ras Mokko Cool Vibz in Sunning Hill St.Thomas with the beautiful Plantain Garden River. Keep Up The Good Work. Blessings.
Dee I am a jewish Jamaican. I hope you visit the synagogue in Duke street Kingston and the synagogue in Montegobay. Jews been in Jamaica since 1494. shalom
I love what you do
Meadowbrook High School do have a beautiful campus, however, it is a government funded, not private school, and therefore not a school of the rich. In fact, Meadowbrook High is not ranked within the top 20 high school ranking.
Built by united church. Most schools were started by churches in jamaica
@@lenfordsoocka5067 Corrected; most schools were not started by the church. Will agree that a larger number of traditional high schools were started by the church, but no longer privatized but government funded, and therefore open to all students regardless of class, as long as they met the admitting requirements.
LOL more like in the top 30 or 40
Great views educational
Beautiful homes!
I loving how you are visiting different places in Jamaica.
Dee you are wasting your beautiful evening wear for regular day time activity? I love the outfit !
Dee, thank you for highlighting areas in 🇯🇲 that I haven't even been to and I've lived here all my life time😊
❤
Absolutely beautiful Jamaica. Dee you are amazing.
Dee am so happy you are showing upper St Andrew one of the suburb. Can't wait to see when you visit Beverly Hills.
Woooow that house with the black roof, I love love it. 10/10 Nice houses up in Red Hills indeed. Yes houses are to die for. I have a girlfriend who owns a mansion up in Red Hills. I enjoyed the video.
Dee thank you for visiting my little Island and also your friend Kish..enjoy my Island love you both..God bless you..
Dee Meadow brooke high school is NOT a school for the rich😂😂😂. The students who attend are from all socio- economic groups and reflect the society as a whole. That's not to say that Meadowbrooke is not a good school. Schools for the rich are private institutions. Meadowbrook and several other High schools are government funded with great academic standards. We have a different system here in jamaica. Hope thus helps.
Great video it's not only rich people children attend meadow high school children from all walks of life attend meadow high
Dee I love your video in Jamaica. Am Jamaican living in New York
Dat is it Dee Jamaica is really beautiful i..i love my country i will never give up my country for nothing
To miss dee excellent work 👏 👌 👍 thanks you love 💘 julia God bless you all the time
For the most parts the Jamacians that comes to America works really hard, and supports their family, but that happens everywhere some mean just are like that don't work, don't pay bills, even in America.
People don't have to rich to own houses hun ambition is the key you keep saying rich rich rich that was back in the days anyone lives anywhere now 😊 any way enjoy dear
DEE YOU AND KISH NEED TO VISIT MANDEVILLE MANCHESTER ITS VERY BEAUTIFUL HOUSES THERE
Dee Jamaica is land of beauti😊😮❤ one love glad you are enjoying your self
Dee Big Welcome, wished I was there in Mobay to meet you, like your personality alot.
One of my suggestion would be Mandeville; if you want to see great houses.
Enjoy yourself to the fullest and take our love back to your beautiful family👍🇯🇲
Thank you for sharing my beautiful island
Hi Dee i enjoy your all of your video dat is it
So happy you visited reds hills so you can take in the view
Jamaica is the #1 tourist destination in the caribbean. So if it was under rated it wouldn't be #1.
YOU NEED TO CONTACT A REALTOR - And go visit some of the GATED COMMUNITIES IN JA, with swimming pool & weight room & exercise room overlooking the big swimming pool area, with also tennis & basketball court etc.👍🏾👍🏾
Gated communities are gated for a reason...the people dem want them privacy. Why would they want anybody who don't live there walking around and showing their properties???
@@Donnmaree You have available houses on the market ready to be sold or rent in a lot of these gated communities to the public, so you contact a JA realtor to give you a tour, most of those people that bought one of those homes got it exactly they way I am describing it.
Next stop is Mandeville and Ocho Rios, tower Isles.
Tower Isles is next level
I thank Dee for her passion for Jamaica. I can see your heart is in the right place. Your refrain that 'Jamaica is not just Ghetto' may disturb those of us who know our country and know ghettos are a minority of our reality. But we must also realize that there is a narrative out there about Jamaica, especially in Africa! We must ask ourselves as a country, how did that narrative come to be? Did our artistes contribute to that? They must continue to produce as they do without censorship to reflect the realities of their upbringing, but how do we balance that narrative so people know the truth? Well, that is where our vloggers have a role, but our Tourist Board may also have to do some work as well. My humble suggestion however is that for the future you modify that well intentioned phrase 'Jamaica is not just ghetto' as it may be taken to mean that Jamaica is primarily ghetto with a few nice places. Jamaica is beautiful and complex place with many facets. Thank you for exposing our country to Africa. These stories need to be told.
Dee I know they mentioned about a woman taking care of a man it's not true but it happens to the best of us loving someone so much to giv them everything but we learn from our mistakes it happens to almost every woman but Dee remember u were in love 2 u give them your heart and men play with our emotions so keep strong and keep the lovely videos coming I love jamaica 2 one love
Jamaica is the 3 eyes for Africa the mother land good job Dee from the uk
Hello DEE. I might not qualify as a Jamaican anymore since having migrated to the United States in my teenage years. I have to wonder, though, when I look at these enormous houses in Jamaica, why would one want to live in them? I know someone in montegobay whose house is consisted of 8 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, two kitchens, and a garage that fits 4 vehicles, and the irony is that only he and his wife live together.
Those houses is very expensive I know that area beautiful Jamaica 🇯🇲 land we love God bless you be safe
Respect for that Queen!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👸
That’s not true everyone kids can go to that school as long as you pass your exams , not only rich people have big houses in Jamaica most Jamaican are builders and build their own houses
Mandeville have beautiful houses you can check it out
Rich and poor go to any schools in Jamaica as long as the kids pass there exam
Dee Meadowbrook high school is not a school for the rich as you are being told. I have had friends who went to that high school and they were not rich some would be classified as middle class in Jamaica and some were working class. All had to pass their exams to get in. They all had families who were teachers and civil servants (government workers), not rich. My friends took the bus to school with the exception of one. Meadowbrook high is not a private school. It is not just rich people and ghetto people. My close cousin has a house in Res Hills but she had it from before the area was built up like that. She took years to fixing it now looking at it you would think so. We were country poor come to Kingston living on bay farm road which wasn’t as run down and depressed at that time.
I always knew Jamaica was not a ghetto. All of the Caribbean islands have beautiful homes.
Love it 💕👌
