A very deep and insightful statement which drives to the heart of the current state of Jamaican development. Thank you for your contribution, I really learnt a lot.
The problem is that most Jamaicans are very money-obsessed. Because of that, they become impatient with money. Which leads some to robbery. Jamaica doesn't have a creative mind society. Very few, the majority or not. People tend to do the same as everyone else. For example, taxi. The average Jamaican thinks of buying cars on hire purchase to run taxis which is very competitive in the country. No one did think about an island-wide coach service which is very effective in Jamaica. It takes people from overseas to go Jamaica and do different businesses which the locals never thought of doing. This tells that Jamaica society is not very creative thinking with cleverness behind the creativity. There are so many ways people could be earning in the country. However, people are lacking ideas and only think about instant money-making. Put in the interest and the passion behind whatever the business is then the money will follow behind.
This is awesome for the all female Jamaican leadership team. I respect that the investors vision. I just hope this supports Jamaica and Jamaican first!!!
Yes! HU YOU KNOW! Love to see a Jamaican woman representing Howard University (my alma mater). I am a Washington, D.C. native who moved to Portland, Jamaica last year. Thank you Throp, awesome video. Thank you, Mr.Yangsen, for bringing your investments and visions to reality for our beautiful country 🇯🇲. It's awesome to see three beautiful women at the helm of this project, they are setting the foundation for our future up and coming little girls who will dear to break the patriarchal glass ceilings. The only drawback is; the Jamaicans will not be able to afford this luxury property, even those in the diaspora. Its geared towards the affluent class. Nonetheless,it wiil avail more jobs. Btw,as a suggesti, they should consider building a health facility on the property and work out the logistics to include Practitioners at a cost, rather than having to fly out.

Thanking you for curating these positive vlogg providing valuable information about the growth in jamaica and the multiply developments in infrastructure
I agree, these buildings are geared toward high level income or wealthy people, they will offer jobs but ur income might still not be able to take care of ur expense of living. I noticed everything is expensive homes and hotel which the average person can't afford.
@@SebastienVonHalen Why is it that some Jamaican are so concern about what avrage people can afford. Average people are all over the world, who cannot afford highend stuff. I love it! Jamaica is building up its infrastructure. Well needed to bring wealth to Jamaica.
This is the pinnacle of your interviews, Throp. At least, it certainly feels like it. Excellent interview!
Yes! HU YOU KNOW! Love to see a Jamaican woman representing Howard University (my alma mater). I am a Washington, D.C. native who moved to Portland, Jamaica last year. I am so excited by the progress that I am witnessing. I may "consider" a move to Montego Bay. My Portie people would be under vexation. Dwl! Up!
This is so awesome
Great development. Mr yangsen li has a Jamaican accent lol.
he is Jamaican-Chinese
But the white Jamaican lady sounds American, I like how the architect still has her accent although she went to University in Washington. 😊
@@IamLeighton he's been in Jamaica 18 years. So it's not his native tongue
Well done Throp, I had some misconception about this project. Thanks for the clarification, I was concerned about the mangroves, but the architect addressed my concerns.👊🏽👍🏽👍🏽
WOW.. This is awesome. So proud of the entire team, and for our beautiful Jamaica. Can't wait to see the finished product. 🎉🇯🇲🇯🇲🤩
thanks so much for watching
Great clientele question Throp. I am glad you asked that very relevant question.
For the record I am indeed happy as a jamaican first and foremost that your program exist as a professional outlet to counteract the negative vloggers who have been creating content and I suppose for there own political agenda or to meet a political narrative that there is nothing happening in jamaica. I just saw another report of a gathering of civil society including people from the university telling us that basically nothing is happening in our beloved country. Thanking you for curating these positive vlogg providing valuable information about the growth in jamaica and the multiply developments in infrastructure
Native Jamaicans shouod be including in this. Foreigners dominating everything
I agree, these buildings are geared toward high level income or wealthy people, they will offer jobs but ur income might still not be able to take care of ur expense of living. I noticed everything is expensive homes and hotel which the average person can't afford.
my thoughts exactly. I am betting these are in the millions ..
So be motivated and strive not to be average and stop mopping. What are you doing or trying to be able to afford one of these?
There are affordable homes NHT or build your own. Buy what you can afford! There are different level homes in every society/country!
@@SebastienVonHalen Why is it that some Jamaican are so concern about what avrage people can afford. Average people are all over the world, who cannot afford highend stuff. I think it's this grudgefull badmind attitude, which is more common to those people with a socialist/communist ideals in Jamaica!!!
Good to hear that health care is being taken into consideration alongside this awesome project
I was happy to hear this as well
this looks so exciting for Mobay and JA as a whole...
I would love to understand the water pressure needed to rise so high in those four pinnacle.
I like the idea of having the amenities prior as it’s u fair buying and waiting for other infrastructures. This seems amazing development for mobay and Jamaica. Can’t wait to see it!
I love this idea but I hope some hospitals are in the making too. Jamaica needs better healthcare facilities
They're building and upgrading hospitals. Research it!!
Big changes in progress for hospitals in Jamaica
There’s something about Jamaica that makes us separate n apart … that unexplained feeling when that sun hits your face … the food the music the rhythm and vibes you feel like no where else… on the new project I can see people are looking out into seeing there children and children’s children… that’s something my mom talks about… we own land in NE Manchester that should never be sold … I hope my kids will take care of things after we become late .. I love this vision for my country… kudos
I totally agree.👍
Right now, I am proud to be a Jamaican. A lot of good things going on there.
it's very exciting times for Jamaica
Great project, good luck to the developers and the three women team members. Like one said “Jamaica to the world.”❤️🇯🇲❤️
Awesome video on the Pinnacle and I am so proud of the ladies running the project.
thanks so much
Woooowwwwwww this interview doesn’t feel Jamaican nor they look Jamaican but they are all Jamaican just so amazing. So proud of these women that is apart of this project
This is so inspiring! Really good job on your interview and diving deep into the meaning behind the project and the allstar female leadership 👌🏾
I believe I am on board for this one ❤
It looks like they're building very close to the shoreline... I would be a little worried about erosion as time goes on... But anyway, nice promo video.
