@@stevestevens502 hideous really😯? Everyone I come across that is looking to invest in the real estate market in Jamaica are looking for a more modern design aesthetic. The only thing I see missing is an enclosed garage.
I like this development. Thanks for sharing. With continued housing developments in its environs, Old Harbour urgently needs public infrastructure such as hospital, definitley more primary and high schools, and an urban centre, similar to the one in Morant Bay. I think towns like these (Negril, Santa Cruz, Linstead etc) should have their own mayors and public officials to monitor their progress and development. Public issues should not be left in the hands of the respective Chambers of Commerce. Urbanization is the way forward and it requires public policy and responsibility!
With Jamaica importing over US$1B in food annually, why do they keep building on prime farmlands sitting on water tables?. At the same time, they pretend to care about climate and the environment. There is no shortage of land to build on, but arable land is limited, and food security will be a major issue in the near future.
Mr Delpratt and Cass,I have seen one of the men in blue on the Mitchells channel and he seems to be a great contractor.Congrats you are doing great things as well.Well done.

This nonsense trend of state of the art houses and no garage must end, I mean no one is learning from previous developments and customer feedback? SunCoast was bad enough at that price point. Unless there is an option for a garage I cannot entertain it. Developers do better
These houses are really nice but I would not say the best. I watch keenly and one thing some architects sometimes over look is how the water is drained from the slab roof. They should have incorporated drain pipes inside the exterior walls as opposed to the holes as that type of drainage only messes up the external wall over time. Its a lovely concept but a bit too pricey in my opinion for the location. Paradisiac may be the best in my opinion so far. Once you have access to the beach it surpasses others. #myopinion🙂
Isn’t the same builders of Paradisiac the same builder of Pyramid Point? Some houses in Pyramid Point are having some issues with the drainage from the slab roof , so hopefully Paradisiac doesn’t face the same. Yes, these builders need to incorporate proper drainage so that mold and etc.. isn’t a problem, something like what you suggested.
@@ibelieveinmedoyoubelievein7257 to my knowledge I think the company is the same and yes houses in Pyramid Points developed moulds inside, especially the ones where owners were oveseas and they were closed up for a pro-longed period.
I'm going to be called a hater BUT couldn't they name it something else other than Great House Estates? And I love British Colonial architecture styles especially the Georgian style but the development looks nothing close to a great house. Also, Great House Estates kinda gives we still live in a plantation society kinda vibes and the disparity between the haves and the have nots in that area is very evident. I am in no way hating on the content creators for this channel for the simpletons that may say that. I just think the naming is off. Also, I know that alot of younger persons love the box design but couldn't the architect do more to incorporate some classical design? That's just my opinion. Anyways, people will buy these houses and who likes it, likes it and it won't change the price of bread. Didn't know that a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom house would cost over $38,000,000, in Old Harbour with no carport. So your car paint must burn out in the sun? You mean to tell me at that price, a solar water heater, an alarm system and solar panels could not come with the house? Even Gore communities sold their houses with alarm systems and solar water heaters. Developers can't give you the option of two fruit trees or ornamental trees with the house for that price? Is the river make the scheme so expensive? Guess I'm just a poor dutty foot gyal. And why am I complaining when I'm not the target market? I don't know.
