I'm really enjoying the flexibility that mind-mapping tools can give you. While I only touch on 4 different ways in this video, there are so many other templates you can experiment with in Miro. To learn more, check out the website: miro.com/mind-map/
So helpful, thank you.
Miro is an impressive visual planner and generator of ideas. Thanks for your good examples of use cases!
You are very welcome, Thomas. Yes, the freedom to put things exactly where you want is great for creativity!
Mind maps are a great way to work smarter and faster. By creating a mind map, you can visually organize information and ideas, making it easier to process and remember. Additionally, mind maps can help you see connections and relationships between ideas, making it easier to come up with new ideas and solutions.
What. Neither you or this guy can say the words mind map without saying mind map.
So this is basically a 11 min long commercial for Miro!?!! Not bad, but not what I was expecting when I clicked on the link. You can do the same things with MS Whiteboard. I did like the brainstorming and meeting/voting sections of the video.
Thanks for the good explanation. I’m trying to learn about Miro. It seems a little cumbersome. I can’t seem to just start a blank mind map. Any suggestions ? The connecting lines are so thin that I can hardly see them when zoomed out, so can’t make the “connections”.
Ok, I'll check Miro. Hopefully they don't have the usual 3 mind-map limit on free accounts. I have never been able to get used to many apps because of this limitation. And I ended up using local apps like VyM or FreePlane.
Great video. Im a Google fan, but im going to try Miro.
Go for it!
Question...to help me learn blender and python which method of active recall would you recommend? Can I do that with a mind map, or anki or Obsidian or what ever.
I am at the research stage of choosing a mind-mapping tool. Apart from Miro, what else should I have a look at?
I have a question. How do you make a mind map? I am totally blind and use voice-over and bluetooth wireless keyboard on. My eye phone 12ware would I beginin creating a mind map
Miro has a number of accessibility features built-in so it can work with screen readers and other assisted devices. I've included a link here so you can access more details: miro.com/accessibility-statement/improvements/
What bothers me most about this (and other mind-mapping platforms) is how best to make the map itself handy. Does this require me to open it in a browser each time or is it an app? How best to have it available?
Thanks for your thoughts, John. With Miro, you can access it within your browser or as an app on your mobile devices. I personally find it most useful to have it as an open tab.

You're not paying attention to the students life moment. But sure you're fine.
alot of people say its not a good idea to use software for mind maps. Just regular pen and paper
