On my Honda Ek those years. The lip that I fitted on it , looked the same , and cost me like R600. (think in dollars it's 60) wish I knew all these tips when I was younger.
I thought I felt eyes on me haha 😂 but thank you yea that road work made the traffic back up. I was out in the intersection like crap move people!! Lol
@@JamesDguy lol ya for real I got a lot of dirty looks and birds shot my way lol I painted half my mustang so far and it’s turning out okay, I think I just need a new hood tho
I agree man its crazy people won't try them just because they are cheap. Makes no sense. I had them on my old ef too and lived out in the country and had to drive down crap roads all the time and it did it with no issues and i ABUSED THEM. These are even better because my previous set didn't even have adjustable damper.
i have a 98 civic lx non vtec, and just recently added a vtec head, i plan on using obd1 computer so i can use chipped tune, do i also have to use a obd1 distributor for odb1 tune chipped ecu to work properly?
I swear your ideas are out of this world great and thinking outside the box. Great video me james. By the way you have great friends on and off the channel 🍀🍀🍀🍀👍👌🍻
Hey James I’m doing a diy paint job on a front lip for my brothers car. I have paint matched red in an aerosol can and I have 2k clear and primer. I wanted to know if I should use adhesion promoter but idk if I should because it’s fiberglass enforced plastic. The lip is a evo r for a 370Z if that helps. Thanks
I agree man! Also in my other video coming out on the other channel i reveal what we plan on doing with the oil bung. The video is saving now and uploading after.
Just got a heavy rock chip crack in my window. I’m in RGV and it’s looking like a 300$ job for mine. Might give them a call and make the trip out to Waco. 6hrs but I get like 40mpg in my fiesta lol
They probably distribute from California so cost there is probably cheaper for that reason. Most windshields around here are $250+ look it up for zip code 76522 you will be like wtf
No this dang thing runs SOOO COLD with this big radiator. If i sit and idle it goes up. I know it works perfect because the stock radiator it was always at 1/4

Youre not a ricer bro, that's a super clean build, loving it
Thanks im a ricer at heart. I love visual enhancements but i love performance more haha
I can't believe I never thought of that!!!. Very clever my boy!!.
We did this 8+ years ago because they didn't have much for lips back then *for cheap* lol.
Great easy mod. And I love how the green and black go together. The green really pops.
It does look really good i agree!
I have never clicked in the video so fast.
Yes big up bro showing man how to do things on a budget not every one has deep pockets keep doing what you're doing brother 🤘🤙👊
Nice job. Have u seen the diy side skirts using rain gutters? Don't look bad either for a diy job
Yes i have we did it to the panda civic but ima use this for side skirts since i have a perfect way to do it with the left overs.
Can't wait 2 c dat vid
I love everything you put out bro keep it up.
Thanks ima keep doing my best with what i have. I don't have much but i have hacks lol

Dang yea this method works great and there is plenty of left over to make side skirts :)
Hey man I saw you when I was working yesterday in CC. We were doing road construction right there by the railroad tracks. Your car looks good!👍🏼

I think I will get a set for my Ek coupe
Looks good, think I'll try the little plastic landscape fencing on mine for that rugged look.
I used that before as wel!
Really nice, you give me some good ideas to work with my 1998 ex Civic coupe, Hi from Puerto Rico
Nice video bro
Looks good. Thinking outside the box and turning out good end results for a fraction of the cost. 👍
For sure and easily accessible and don’t have to wait on shipping
Always great content !
Thinking of trying this on my 99 Integra 😅 love these vids man keep em coming 💪🏾 u really have gave me a lot of ideas 💡 🙏🏾
Looks awesome, actually! Well done!
You can use same stuff for side skirts it would look nice
I plan on it. Just need to get more
Make a sideskirt too

Nice cheap mod mate, good upload 👌👍🏻
This just made me want to do this to my crx !!
am gonna try this on my car, can this be used for side skirts and canards also?
The side skirts yes and canards too. I am gonna be doing them for sides too.
Awesome idea! Looks good
AWESOME VIDEO!!!
Thanks 🙏🏻

Sweet inexpensive mod. Bodevision on RUclips has some great videos on making fiberglass body kits on Honda’s.
Yo have you ever dyed interior plastics? I've seen painted ones and the always chip. Wondering if like rit dye might work
I have painted plastics but I don’t think rite dye works for plastics
Looks good🤙🏼, can u put up some outdoor pics of the lip.
I will
What metallic flake did you put into the raptor and how much?
Awesome bro love it the car is mint

I wonder if you could cut some small pieces, to make canards
Yes you can!!
Do you put the damper to the same clicks on the front as the back or do you stiffen up the front for engine weight?
I don’t always do that. I usually run a little stiffer up front than rear for street and for track it’s the opposite
@@JamesDguy i will try that im running them at around 22 clicks all around
That’s bad ass
I agree man! Also in my other video coming out on the other channel i reveal what we plan on doing with the oil bung. The video is saving now and uploading after.
I think a cool look would be wrapping all the hoses and electrical wires under the hood in a braded Metal, I am going to do that to my car.

Awesome JAMES I did the same mod for my Saturn! Go Yosh Go
Yoshi just chillin like an Eskimo
Was the paint thick enough to cover the wood texture?
Nice! Keep up the awesome videos man!
Enjoy watching your videos 👍
Bedliner the lip🖤👍👍💪🏼💪🏼
for sure
Damn 175! 125 bucks out here in San Jose ca installed

Bro come on stop calling yourself a ricer. I’ve watched your previous stuff it’s insane what you do with the budget you have. Keep up the great work.
BRUHH THIS MAN A GENIOUS TIME TO GO TO HOME DEPOT
excellent
Any cheap idea fa side skirts?
Same method using L brackets and the Rivnut gun to make a screw in thread. I will do it and record it.
Vinyl gutters make great side skirts.
That is nice.
What no Raptor LOL looks kool sir
I didn't have any lol Im broke because christmas.
I wonder if you could just fold over the edges instead of cutting separate sections
It’s fiber glass so not sure
You can't bend fiberglass, especially 90*
Is there something wrong with your temp sensor..seems like it runs cold while you drive
No this dang thing runs SOOO COLD with this big radiator. If i sit and idle it goes up. I know it works perfect because the stock radiator it was always at 1/4
Ooh definitely doing this to my ej8!!
Do u want to sell the spun mesh wheels I would like to buy them if u didn't mind
I am selling them! Message me on instagram.com/texashondachannel
Looking good!!
Have you ever thought about keeping a car simple and clean? Like instead of painting cars lime green? No hate just wondering
Nah it satisfies my autism having them bright and textured.
#DIYLIKEDGUY
Good stuff!
Awesome 💯👍
Should whack another civic motor in the back and make it twin engine awd 🤞
That would be cool but not on this car
Hey dude, what do you recommend for dying the interior Vinyl and seats. I am trying to refresh my 2003 LX 4 door
Ive used the duplicolor vinyl and fabric spray paint and it works awesome.
Are you gunna go all the way around?
Not a bad idea to see those results
I don't want the turbo on it if you're gonna sell it to me :)
Im not selling it to anyone lol
@@JamesDguy see how ya are! (lmao)
Use ur rivnut gun not rivets
I'M all about saving a buck but garden trim???
Fiberglass and if i didn't tell anyone no one would have known. If it works it works.. It defiantly does work
It will be sold in a few weeks lmao
Thanks for the view 👌🏻
