Perfect timing. I was trying to think about how I wanted to store the bike for winter (Wisconsin, USA) and this was in my recommended feed. Ordered! I appreciate you taking the time to make the videos, very helpful!
Another excellent video Gustav! You should be a teacher! You have a gift for it, and also your videos are the best! Of course you would most likely have to take a cut in pay to be a teacher. You are the man thank you so much for taking time to show the rest of us the easy way to do things, without having to fumble and bumble our way through it, making all kinds of stupid mistakes along the way!
Hi Arvin! Yes sir, this won't work with the stock exhaust, but I was able to make it work when I had my stock exhaust by using small pieces of wood under the lifting arms. But it's not recommended
@@ontherebel11 Do you know of any modifications to the sliders on your paddock stand that would enable it to be used with the stock exhaust or is it better to simply remove the slip-on muffler in any case?
Hi ray, I used to tape 2x4 pieces of wood to the lifting arms to clear the exhaust. In order to get the right leverage, I have to roll the rear wheel on a 2x4 piece of wood as well.... In my chain adjustment video, you'll be able to see the 2x4 under the swingarm. I wouldn't recommend doing it that way as it is dangerous.
Thank you Bobby, i regret not mentioning that in the video, i took it for granted that people already knew from previous discussions, newbie mistake...
Depends how tight you are with cash...i.e.;fit R&G bobbins through the rear axle, have fitting on the stand to fit said bobbins, easy lift...for whole bike lift... buy one of the small table type scissors lifts that goes up with a airgun/ratchet get an engineer to bore a piece of billet aluminium the same diameter as the bottom frame rail, cut it in half, fix to scissor lift...whole rear end can then be removed anytime!
Would it be a good idea to put duct tape or some kind of soft durable material in the braces of the stand that come in contact with the frame of the bike to prevent damaging the paint? Thank you, and hello from Maryland, USA! 🏍️💨 👍🏾
Thank you for reminding me! Yes putting some sort of protection is in your interest, as over time the coating does start to come off! Much love for VA! 🤙

Hi Kevin! Yes T rex has a center stand available and a few members in the facebook group have installed them, i believe hat T rex redesigned them as some people were having difficulties raising on the bike.
Hey Gus! I commented on another video. I was able to find one at a further out harbor freight. They didn’t have them ANYWHERE else. I guess I got lucky because this was the last one they had! It didn’t come with the side holder, like where it would hold the bike. Did yours come with that? Or do I need to buy that separately?
@@Soldier-In-Hell I returned the first one since it was missing the lifting arms 🤣🤣🤣, but had called all the stores around me to find one that had a complete one in stock 😅
Oh no.... They are very popular and always in high demand... I would recommend calling all the stores in your area to see if they have them, the website isn't always accurate.
@@ontherebel11 amazing luck! Went to a local HF few miles away and they had an open box one! Grabbed it for 35.99! Since it was a return but no box! I lucked out🤘🙌
Hi Ron, great to hear from you brother! What worked for me with the stock exhaust is to tape 2 pucks of 2x4s like the one I placed under the side stand, on the lifting arms of the stand to give me the clearance I needed. To make lifting the bike easier, I rolled the rear wheel on top of a 3 foot long 2x4. It's a little tricky, but definitely got the job done for a 1/5 of the cost of a pit bull stand.
Hi Kent, i'm sorry to hear that bro, i haven't personally tried a different budget friendly stand, but i have tried the pit bull on a friend's bike and it is awesome!! I have heard of others getting stands from amazon that have worked. Just be mindful of the stock exhuast brother, it won't work with any stand other than pit bull.
Thank you!!! I'm so glad you found it helpful! The backrest is the Honda OEM one, i personally like the look better than the tall sissy bars. I changed the color at a local shop to match my brown seat.
Hi John, I use to put a piece of 2x4 under each side of the swingarm and roll the rear wheel over another piece of 2 x4. Not recommended for safety, but doable
Yes sir, The rear stand doesn't work with the standard exhaust as it is, however i have made it work in the past before i got my current exhaust by adding a small 2x4 piece of wood under the lifting arms.
Hi Bruce! My exhaust is custom made brother..... I would recommend the two brothers racing exhaust, that's the best sounding one, they make a low mount. Another option is Coffman, or even the gp shorty.
Hi Ben! Yes sir, this is still my setup and will not be changing it anytime soon! I'd rather use the money that a pit bull stand will cost on other goodies 🤣🤣
Oh man.... If you have ratcheting straps and something strong above the bike to hook them to, it could work, I've used ladders in the past. Look it up on RUclips, I'm sure someone has documented it. It works in a pinch. Wish you were closer brother....
@@ontherebel11 Look into the Miller exhaust with the billet end cap. I don’t know if you can get it in America. It’s made in Germany. I have the Cobra Exhaust and I’m very pleased with it.

Just a heads up. The rear stand won't work with the stock exhaust. The adjustment knob digs into the exhaust pipe.
