I bought one 2 months ago... had tried one I didn't like, settled on another model, than picked up one of these that was "the one." Would have preferred gloss finish though.
I bought the Sitka and without question it's as close to getting a D-18 or D-28 as you buy for much much less money. Will it hold up over the years like the more expensive Martins? Probably not, but if you treat it well, it WILL until you buy a D-28 or D-18, which you will eventually.
No I don't find the d12 or d13 better. I think to get better then the d10 you need to go to the d18 but that is a huge jump in price. Hope you get the one you like !! The d 10 is great I think !!
Thanks for your answer. A last question : do you know the old road serie Martin DR ? Because it seemed an ancredible guitar for a quite similar price..
@Louison Delomez I believe the dr had a 1.687 nut width and a stratabond neck the d10 switched to 1.75 nut width and select hardwood neck. Yes those are nice to if you find a good deal on one. 🙂
I have the d12e and it’s Much more balanced Sounding than the d10e. The d10e seems to be much quieter unplugged too. D12e seems to be much Closer to a D18 than the d10e
Hi Jarvis. I'm looking for a guitar for gigging (I play chords mostly). I'm hesitating between these options: taylor gs mini mahogany (I'd have a pickup system installed later), martin 000-10e, martin d-10e sapele, martin d-10e spruce. Which would you recommend? Thank you so much!
this fishman pickup is different sounding compared to the sonicore which is rubbish .. the MXT sits above the band mix so i’m very sure it’s good .. if you want a more natural sounding then i can only think of the LR Baggs Anthem .. in any case the D10 gets my vote
@@philipboban4183 that's what I planned to buy when I bought my 10e. Really wanted a cutaway and gloss finish.... the model is a Guitar Center exclusive....got to the store and they were mysteriously out of stock even though it showed in stock when I checked online. So I saved $200 and got the 10e and I'm happy.
Put your mic at the 12th feet about 12” away. Thanks for sharing!!
Excellent review - you are the best on YT !
thank you so much

Great review! Just bought one!
Hi Javas ! Hope you are well. Guitars have to stand on their own. This one does. Nice video as always .🎸🎸🎸
@@BaktaBak3 doing well my brother

Hey loved the vid, have you tried Eastman E1D ?
I’m torn between this and your review
£400 price difference tho
Martin has more bass
Would you recommend this or the taylor 114 as my only acoustic?
Thanks for your video. I would like to know if the d12 or d13 are for you very better concerning the sound.

Would you say it has more bass reponse sound than my Martin OM 28v OOO body size?
Is this model best suited for singing?
Do you think the Fishman MX-T on Martin OR the ES-2 on Taylor is better?
the fishman on this sounds so much better
What’s the action like my brother? Wonder if I’d have to take a brand spanker to a guitar Luther for set up ? 👍🏼
Nope, out of the box playable!!

well it all depends
I do find my d10e a bit quiet unplugged.
Are these the stock strings? Are there others you think might be a better fit?
you can use any PB strings but get it setup right

@@TheGuitarSpaSingapore Thanks! Really appreciate your help.
The D-10E Spruce wasn't available so I got the D-10E Sapele. Thank you so much for your advice!
@@tommymusiccovers4159 that’s great
I wish there is a cutaway version of that
will look funny if it’s a cutaway on a dread
Guitar Center sells a 11e with a cutaway

this one vs yamaha A3R ?
this is good
@@TheGuitarSpaSingapore thanx for helping me!
Is this guy a Geylang loanshark turned guitar reviewer?
Looks like my gpca4 same materials
yes it is
I just bought the Djr-10e. Is the D10e much better sounding? I am still within the return window 🤷♂
way louder and more dynamic . you can hear it on this video
