    I did this several years ago using very realistic looking cherry blossoms.

    I love this. I opted for a branch Xmas tree this year(kept seeing huge branch when dog walking). White lights & minimal ornaments & it was stunning. We’ve decided to keep it up all year because it was so beautiful. Makes living room sooo inviting. Now, I just need to remember this is a cobweb haven & to clean every month! Thx!

    Beautiful! I actually had a very similar idea about 3 years ago. I still have my branches attached in the kitchen but I never managed to find anything suitable enough (few faux options in Sweden to be honest and most are expensive), so I just have my tree. But i really wanna do something with it eventually, maybe even with diamonds hanging on it. Thank you for this amazing tutorial, sparked some thoughts!

Was discouraged by my husband who just told me to buy one. 😮I’ve never found one that met my needs or style. I have how ever never stopped mentioning that I thought I could do better. Well I’m definitely going to do it this weekend 🎉

    I can just hear my husband screaming at me if I even dared to bring in something that big from the outside into our home! LOL
    In the past he needed a stiff drink just for a couple of 3ft branches that I cut down and brought in on my own for an Easter tree. Good gravy.

    I would have to do a price comparison before I took this project on. I’m sure your $50ish dollars in leaves is still much less than a store bought ficus tree would be. But the beautiful huge pot would be quite pricey to buy and difficult to find at a yard sale. But it was a gorgeous outcome when you were finished! You have a great eye and I am enjoying your channel, which I just found when I was searching for back porch flooring ideas.

    Wow 🤩 what a great idea! I have seen trees like this that look real that cost anywhere between $300 to $500 for this size, you probably did it for way under 100 bucks! Thanks for the inspiration 😘

      Thank you! Yes, it was about $42 in faux leaves and would cost another $5 for a bag on cement. Ours was over 12 feet so to scale it down would be significantly less expensive. This is a really great project that adds so much to a space!

    This is really awesome. Could you take this outside and spray it off when it gets dusty?

    • @ValerieAguiar
      @ValerieAguiar  3 года назад +1

      Yeah, you could do that! I would probably just take a duster and dust it, but either way works! 💕
