Oh, this is 1000x better than most aging tutorials! Wow, what a difference.
This is the best video of this type I’ve seen-four things needed-a pot, paint, sealer, and dirt-and one of those I don’t even have to pay for!! I’m subscribing.
Right!?! So glad to have you here! 💕
My thoughts too! I always look to see what products the description says are needed before I even watch it. Defeats the purpose of diy if I have to spend a bunch of money on top of my time to recreate a look.
@@joannpellegrino3435 So true!
As a retired ceramicist I thought, "that's a LOT of work". The end result is worth it! Thank you!!
Hi Terry! You are right... the end result is definitely worth the work!
Best work i have seen, thank you! ❤
Thank you for the inspiration! I flipped a $5 Ikea pot that turned out amazing. To bad I can’t show it to you. Thanks again, ❤️your work! 🌺😎
This is gorgeous! Love how you did it and your clear instructions. Thanks. ❤️
I loved your transformation. Everyone I have watched on IG use mud and you really got the textured look that everyone seems to be after. And your vessel the shape is beautiful for this.
I would love to see you do this in a cream and a color so we can see how it would work for different people's taste. Beautiful job
Thank you Julie! I debated between the cream and a black color but decided on black! I love the shape too, these pots were such a great deal at Home Depot!
@@ValerieAguiar Please do a cream one
Yes, please do a cream one! This is so amazing, thank you!
Seriously the best tutorial like this out there. It’s achieves a look that doesn’t seem DIY. Love the black, I’m going to try this on a white vase and see what happens!!
Hi Brooke! You're too kind! Let me know how it goes! 💕
Restoration hardware is a store that been around for years , just like pottery barn, crate and barrel, I am happy to see all the influencers talk about it
I agree! So many beautiful pieces and the quality is unmatched!
it turned out gorgeous and 1000 years old looking . Job well done!
Thanks Marc!
BEST DYI vessel I’ve seen so far! ❤️
I am so lucky I found you!!! I was so frustrated after checking the prices of the large terracotta pots I wanted in the internet. Then I explored painti g the planter but the options were expensive and not very attractive. I am heading to Home Depot for my pot and my spray paint. Thank you!!!!
Omg this is what I wanted
🎉🎉🎉🎉you are genius
Thanks Katelyn!! 💕
Quick tip for those looking for good dirt find a public park where they play
baseball and use that dirt
Great idea! 😀
You can get ticket for stealing city property.
@@karenhecks211 for stealing some kicked up dirt? Wee bit paranoid 🙄
Nope not paranoid it's a fact.
This is a great tip and idea! Thanks for sharing 🙏
Omg! This is GENIUS !! I’m ordering one now from Home Depot!! Gonna give this a try !! Looks stunning !!! Just like RH without the cost! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Let me know how it turns out!! :)
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS, ESPECIALLY WITH THE OLIVE BRANCHES........BEAUTIFUL JOB..........
Thanks Elaine!☺️
I did it!! I followed your direction and did my own and I live it!! Thank you so much!! I wish I could insert a pic!
*love it
@@patlynn4949 Pat... that is amazing!! I wish you could insert a picture, too! I'd love to see it!
doing this ASAP
Looks authentic and truly amazing. Your “dirt” is perfect. I live in Virginia- red clay - not so good.....
Ah, yes! I've had people tell me the dirt they use isn't as easy to work with or doesn't look the same! I guess it's going to depend on where you're at, but I have seen people talk about (in the comments) work arounds that are just as good!
Thank you ❤
Wow. I loved it !!!!
Thanks Mary!!
I’ve been looking for an affordable pot in that shape and size and only found your video because I was looking for a DIY to antique my terracotta pots a little. Win-Win. 😊😊
Hi Michelle!! Yes!! Antique those terracotta pots!! 💕
Wow! Can it get any simpler than this?. Love it!
Thanks did is beatiful Iloved Your decorations
Thanks Abby! 💕
This is by far the best video I've seen. Beautiful
Aw, thanks Holley! It was one of my favorite DIY's I've done!!
Very interesting. I love it. And reap the benefits of your work that matches high-end but much cheaper 👍
I really love how this turned out! Such a great idea and so much cheaper than paying those expensive restoration hardware prices!
Thank you Kym! SO much cheaper and a bit more fun too!! 😉
It is much more rewarding, as it is your creation.
This is probably how they make it professionally too :-D
Phong... it very well could be! Thanks for stopping by :)
This is reallly good.
Thank you for sharing this technique.
Just picked up a vessel and want to try this.....looks so cool!!!
Hi Diane! Let me know how it goes! 💕
Definitely one of the best pot makeover I've seen, I may do this I may not but Thank you for sharing, I love it.
Amazing transformation.
Thank you!
Thank you. I recently salvaged a large plastic urn. It was half full with spray insulation foam so apparently once held an artificial plant. It already has a faux stone finish in a light mottled grey. I want to enhance that effect. I won't be able to use the local dirt because it is too organic. Maybe I can find some sand. I love your technique. I especially love your choice of olive branches. Those look perfect with your pot.
Love your technique
Thank you!! :)
Wow! Beautiful job. I think you should sell these. I would purchase them from you.
I have the same terra-cotta pot. I can’t wait to try this.
Debra... do it! Let me know how it turns out! :)
OMGee I did it and it turned out amazing. Thank you. I’ll post on my page and give you all the credit. ❤️❤️❤️
Linda! That is so awesome to hear! I love it when people actually take action on these DIYs!! 💖
Valerie Aguiar you are welcome. Just subscribed to your channel
@@LABeautifulDesigns Aw, thank you! I appreciate your support!

Hola Estef! Muchas gracias por el amable comentario! Espero que tengas un increíble descanso del fin de semana!💕
Love this pot,
Thanks Leticia!!
Gotta try love a rustic and cool pot/vessel plus I'll feel good that i pulled one over on RH whom i love yet can b pricey at times, so thx again Valerie you're a gift 💝
Yes! I LOVE Restoration Hardware, but some of their pieces can be pricey! And it's always fun to tackle a new project and get the same look for less, right? 😍
Thank you. I’m going to try it today on a small vase!!!
Thanks Mary! Come back and let me know how it turned out! :)
This is exactly what I’ve been looking for. Thank you so much for sharing!!!
I love when that happens! :) Have a great week Judi! 😊
Valerie Aguiar You as well!
This looks so good and the technique is so simple. Thanks for sharing.
Of course! Thank you for watching!
Super cool
Thank you!
Wow, absolutely brilliant 👏
Thank you so much 😀
Turned out gorgeous
Thank you! ❤
I love this and gonna give it a shot. Thanks for the inspiration.
You're welcome! 😊
Wow that looks really great! I love the tip about steaming your plant. I have that same steamer in Teal!
Thank you Kristin! Seriously, that steamer is my favorite!! ❤️
Was thinking about doing this to a lamp. Cream base and then the dirt.
This is beautiful thanks for the upload
Love the process, and beautiful outcome.
Thank you Debra! 💕
I love this vase. Thank you for sharing. May I ask, where can I get the dirt.
This incredible ….can’t wait to get started!
Wonderful pot.
Thank you so much Hilda! 😊
Love the whole process..Thanks for sharing ❤️
Nilam, you are so welcome! Thanks for watching ❤️
Looks amazing!!!😉I need that look!
Thank youuu! 😊
I am totally doing this
You should! It's a fun DIY :) Let me know how it goes!
Valarie your videos are short BUT on point...
Best yet seen .... You can sell the vessel for $--------- 😮
Ohhh...that's a lot more work than what I do with plastic containers to achieve a similar effect. I paint them all over with caulk, pat on some sand, then lightly spray paint first a light color, then highlights of a darker color. These look nice and heavy!
Love that tennik Definitely will give it a try...thank u So much🌾🍁
Thanks Camelia! Let me know how it turns out :)
I totally came across your video on accident, I love that you are making videos you have always been so talented! Definitely going to try out this technique!
Aw! Thank you, your so sweet Brittnee! I've been loving the youtube community so much! It's a great creative outlet for sure! Let me know how it turns out! :)
I love this thank you for sharing and you make it so simple to understand
Thank you for your kind words Beverly!!💕☺️
I’m in the process of doing this now. Lol. It’s so fun. I got the same pot from Home Depot. Much bigger than it looked in your video. I ordered olive branches also. Can’t wait to finish and put together. Thanks so much for this.
I’m excited for you! It’s such a great project! So glad you love it! Happy Sunday Rita! 💕
I couldn’t get it to work 😭😭😭😭😭
This turned out amazing. I'm inspired to make one. I hope we have good dirt. haha😀
Rochelle! Yesss... make one! I'd love to see it when you're done! I guess some people have difficulty with the type of dirt in their area. If so, I'd check out your local nursery and see if they have any other types of soil you may be able to use! 💕
Love the technique! I was wondering if I can do it for outdoor pots?
A few coats of the clear coat it should hold up for outside! I've seen some other's try this DIY for their outdoors and they've had great success! :)
Gives extra meaning to "rub some dirt on it" ;)
Haha, right!? 💕
This is so neat, I love it.
Thanks France! It's one of my favorite projects I have done! 💕
This is amazing!!!! Thanks for sharing. Can’t wait to try.
Thanks Kristalle! Let me know how it turns out when you get around to trying it!
I loved the result! Well done!
Thanks Abbe!
The best i have seen thus far
Thank you!! That means a lot! :)
Absolutely amazing. Thank you for sharing. I’ll give it a try.
Thanks Linda! Hope you have a great weekend! 💕
Really beautiful! Well done!
Love that!
Will definitely try this.
Definitely try it out! 😊
Excellent aging of the pot it came out perfect 👌🏽!
Thank you!! 💕
Love this - thank you!!
Brilliant
Thank you!!
I already have 5 of those exact pots that I bought at Home Depot. Will definitely try this! Thank you for the tips!
Hi Leticia! Wow.. 5 of them!? Definitely try it on at least one! 💕
I can’t even find one. Sold out at Home Depot and they are no longer selling at Home Depot. Lowe s has it, but only the larger size.
@@Monet2004 Very possible Home Depot won't reorder more til Spring time. Mine cost $20 back in the day, now, they are $38! ☹
@@leticiavallejo7914 Thanks. I called them and they said they won’t be bringing them back. Online it’s 19.95. I didn’t care if it was $50. I would have stilled ordered it, but no luck. Lowe’s has it too, but they will deliver it for $59. I guess I will drive to Lowe’s😀
Loved how this turned out! Also liked that you styled the pot with faux olive branches!
Thanks Alicia! It was a really fun project! 💕
Just purchased these items today plus I found an even bigger vessel at HD attempting these this weekend!
If the vessel is the same as mine but larger I know exactly what your talking about! My HD was all out of the larger size!! 😩😩 I need to see if they’ve restocked! Have fun! 😉
Yes! Mine had it in blue but I took it and I can’t wait to start
This is brilliant! You are so clever, great job!
Thank you Cheri!
Thanks.
Thank YOU! 😊
Love it
Looks great, I'm going to try it! Thank you!
You're welcome!! 😊
