Oh I'm so glad you mentioned that, I forgot to say that! I did an order pickup and they gave me green instead, and I was just really ready to get this started so used the green lol!
This is the best looking DIY artificial tree I've seen. Love your home- it is beautiful, unpretentious, simple yet elegant and spirit-filled. :) God bless.
Because I lack patience, I figured out a way to do this in a quarter of the time it took her to complete. I bought a pack of leaf garland. Wrapped cut pieces around each branch with a line of hot glue. Finished the entire tree in less than an hour. It looks awesome, thanks for the idea. I can't believe they sell faux trees for 100s of dollars.
I saw Nate and Jeremiah in Rock the Block do a vase with branches that looked like tree branches. I went to my local designer faux floral shop and they didn’t have anything at all I could use. This inspires me to try again.
It turned out beautiful! I've followed Jenna for over 7 years now and saved her post about this tree. I too will be doing one as soon as we finish our basement - I then will put this tree where my peloton bike sits. 😁
I wish I could take credit for this idea, but also, why didn’t we think of this sooner?!? How many years have I been killing large trees in my living room???
Such an interesting watch !! I’ve lost many leaves of my faux ficus tree during one of our moves. What type of glue could I use to reattach the individual leaves please ? TIA
I wouldn't think so, but don't know from experience just yet... I have mine a few months and so far so good! I could be wrong, but I think branches outside usually rot if they're exposed to a lot of moisture, so I would be surprised if this did. My guess is it'll dry out and last a long time :)
Super cool! I’m recreating this currently. On the branch that I found, there are a few tiny bugs. Do you have a solution for getting rid of them? Thanks :)
Yay! Without knowing what kind of bugs or anything, I have no idea (and even if I did know what kind, I probably still wouldn't haha). I would suggest googling "how to get rid of bugs on house plants" or something along those lines, since you're not actually trying to keep the tree alive I imagine something simple should work!
Way too dangerous! Just use a regular hand saw- like those used for camping and cutting wood for a campfire! Motor tools should ALWAYS be avoided if at all possible! That saws all saw is designed for ripping through the wood… Make a mistake and slip and you could take off a finger, cut off half of your hand or worse! I took saws all blades made for pruning and made handles with DIY plastic beads… I slide it back and forth using only the weight of the saw as down pressure.. I allow the sharpness of the blades to do the cutting. That way u won’t slip and cut yourself. If I do, the injury will be very minor requiring a small band aide…Taking your time making the cut is better unless you are manufacturing these things and are filling multiple orders for multiple customers.
Joann’s and Michael’s both sell brown floral tape for anyone that decides to give this a try. Your tree looks fantastic!

Yours is the only channel I’ve been wanting to watch. I’ll watch literally anything you upload lol
Wow, thank you!

If been thinking of a decoration like this for our church for about a year, thank you!
It was fun to watch this...as I remember doing one of these 40 years ago
Absolutely perfect!!! Great job!!!
It turned out beautiful! I've followed Jenna for over 7 years now and saved her post about this tree.
I too will be doing one as soon as we finish our basement - I then will put this tree where my peloton bike sits. 😁
This is such a green idea. I’m passionate about trees but can’t keep a houseplant alive for long so this would be a perfect solution!
Love your living room! I’m going to make this tree! Thank you
Lol I love the end!! This turned out great. I don’t know how I missed this one!! Love your Chanel.
Awesome! Can’t wait for that piece in the teaser!!
That piece was so fun, I'm excited to share!
Ooops she did again! Great idea, Miss Andrea!

Great idea! Thanks for sharing it. I have branches to work this idea into my tiny home inside and outside.🥰
Why did I never think of this? Thank you for sharing!
Cool! What a great idea. This is a project I would enjoy doing.
Love this video absolutely PERFECT 🥰..great job
would love to see more projects you do for your home :)
Pretty sure we'll be doing a good bit more of that! And now I have a really good reason to convince Dean to let me do all the house projects lol!
You could sell those at those designer prices. It looks terrific!
I am so glad someone came up with this idea, it really is genius! It honestly looks better than a lot of the super expensive faux options I've seen!
Loved it. Beautiful tree!
Thank you!
That looks Great!
you are a genius. sooooo beautiful!!
I wish I could take credit for this idea, but also, why didn’t we think of this sooner?!? How many years have I been killing large trees in my living room???

Omg omg...my question became a video 😍 such a good job 🌳🌳
Haha, yes! Thank you!
Looks gorgeous!
This is so beautiful
I may try this! Also, they sell brown floral tape so maybe that will blend in with the branches better.
Looks AMAZING 🤩
so lovve this . thanks for sharing!
Stupendo!
Thanks for the nice tutorial!
Could there be issues with the wood rotting, or is there a way to keep it fresh?
Beautiful! FYI they make brown floral tape if you don’t want to paint it.
Love it!

Que buena idea. Eres genial!!!
I soooo want to try this 😬
I love it but am worried about how it holds up to continual dusting. Is it sturdy enough?
Where did you get your pot it’s beautiful
Can you do a home tour video? You’re living room is gorgeous!
Thank you!! We actually plan to in the next couple months, we have a couple of house Reno projects to share then will 💙
I love this! Is your wall real brick ?
I am making this! Thank you! Is your brick wall real bricks or wall paper?
Love this! Very creative. What did you put in the pot to cover up the can of cement?
Bet you could get some faux moss to lay over the top.
Looks beautiful! My question is will the branch rot overtime? How long will the branch last?
I wouldn't think so, but don't know from experience just yet... I have mine a few months and so far so good! I could be wrong, but I think branches outside usually rot if they're exposed to a lot of moisture, so I would be surprised if this did. My guess is it'll dry out and last a long time :)
Think I just found my new hobby! Stay at home mommy
Question. Don't the actual branches get dry and brittle?
Have you thought about a lemon 🍋 tree from seed! My mom grew one when we were little no lemons but I’m sure it’ll smell good in the house
Oh I may have to give that a try!
Great 👍🏻
Note that floral tape is available in a variety of colors; white, metallics, shades of brown, and shades of green.

Is that that couch from Article? If so, do you recommend it?
It is! We LOVE it!
you didn't dry the tree ????
Wow!
It looks gorgeous!
Is it safe to use any branch you find outside?
I've only done this this one time so am definitely no expert, but I'd say just check for bugs and make sure it's not rotting or something!
Top 👈👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🍄❤️💖🐼🐻.
Couldn’t you just get free branches from the forest?
That is way to much work lol. There’s an easier way.I’m sure of it. I will keep looking .Thank you 😊
I have problem with this tree: my cat 🐈
Haha yeah I'm sure a cat would love this!

If you don’t know about E6000 are you even a diy’er?
Haha that could work too, I just liked how the hot glue dried fast so I didn’t have to hold for very long ;)
