Paul riser is a incredibly good storyteller and narrator for this scene. His deliveries of important lines to convince eleven about the dire importance of the situation is VERY well timed. There was a moment in the scenes where it was focused on vecna and when he did his growl I was creeped out and then Paul risers voice dam near cuts off that growl and I was like "oh good his voices back" lol. He's what stranger things didnt know they needed but glad they have kinda moment
The Diner scene at the end of Ep3 between Sam Owens and Eleven, together with Max's realisation of what is happening to her, the arrival of the John Wick Government Guy at the Byers house all underscored by Dance with the Dead's "There's a Storm coming" is when Season 4 goes from incredible to f*cking EPIC. Everything after this is the Duffer brothers at 110%.
@@assassinscreed317 I've been listening to this band for a while and was so excited for them to feature in S4 - and the song choice for the scene is absolutely perfect.
Best way he can make that happen is if he pins the blame on Jason. Have it where Chrissy came to Eddie for drugs and Jason killed her in a fit of rage than used Eddie as a scape goat.
@@user-ig8vm1ns4t Dance with the dead are awesome! I nearly lost it when I heard this being played during stranger things, it went really well with the scene.
I hope in Season Five, Owens keeps his promise in making the roller skate incident go away. It'd be the icing on the cake in screwing over Angela. First she gets rightfully assaulted, then the girl that assaulted her gets away with it.
I do like the scene and I understand that they had to leave but I think it was a little disappointing that they didn't get to enjoy their food before leaving for their mission. I guess after everything Eleven had been through it would have been nice to have a little joy before what came next.
Wat if I'm the monster "the thug" 😢 "I'm betting all my marbles... Your one of the good ones" 😉 😁 but I know you've been tired of "listen" to men "like me"
What a waste of food. Leaving without getting to eat. A really annoying trope that food goes unfinished or uneaten whenever characters have to bail out of the scene. Even in animation, not just live action involving multiple takes that actors have to keep eating and the continuity issues.
I agree. We should never waste food in a fast food restaurant or they can pack it in a box into the bag and they can take it anywhere or go home or even go to a hotel room.
See, this is why the show is unrealistic. If the Duffer Brothers knew what they were doing when they were making this show, they would know that the logical thing for Eleven to do would be to take the food. See, throughout the past three seasons, Eleven has been established as a very gluttonous bitch. The very first scene she’s in, she is stealing fries from a hard-working man. When she is reintroduced in Season 2, what is she doing? Eating Eggos. When she was separated from the group, what was the first thing she did? Rob a supermarket of its eggo supply. During Season 4, where did she battle Vecna? A Pizza place. The show has been dropping many subtle hints that Eleven=food. So why will she not take the food? Let’s analyze it for a moment. It would be understandable if Eleven did not bring the waffle with her, as while it is possible to eat them in a moving car, it will be very messy with the cream and syrup on top, especially if they’ll end up driving on rocky and bumpy roads, however, Eleven could have taken the sandwiches. They are easy to hold and are unlikely to make a big mess. Why didn’t she take the sandwich? See, if Millie Bobby Brown was a good actress, she would have been so immersed into the role, that she’d know that the logical thing for Eleven to do would be to take the sandwich with her. Take a good actor for example, like Seth Rogen, just imagine Seth Rogen as Eleven. He would have been so immersed into the role, so immersed into the world, that when he saw Owens paying for the food, he would have thought “Oh, it would make sense then for me to take the sandwich too, because I am established as a character who is often associated with food, huehuehuehue” Millie Bobby Brown simply isn’t on the same level as Seth Rogen, hell not even the same astral plane. This is why Stranger Things is the worst show ever.

He made this scene absolute epic and gave us the best 3 minute pitch as he did eleven

I wonder if dr Owens knows Chrissy and Fred

That trope pisses me off to no end. Does nobody ever think to either go to a fast food place or request their meal to go if they're in such a hurry?
At least they paid for service
Eleven looks clearly pissed off💀
She is simply too serious in these types of situations but her expressions make her look angry.

Since when is fiction required to be realistic, especially when you got all these creepy, scary, supernatural stuff happening?
