Steve said she has to be herself, and what does she do around Nancy? Literally be herself. With Jancy that they don’t work. And in the beginning it really highlights the most desirable girl getting with the guy and they’re the ultimate power couple going to college together, and it’s just so very safe. But the main problem with them is they’re just not communicating. It just wasn’t what Jonathan wants and Nancy has to realize that. But she also deserves to be with someone that literally lays down her life to protect Nancy, even though she is terrified and that’s Robin. And that scene where Nancy smiles when, in the forest she overhears Lucas and Max communicating that he sees her, and the mention of her friends. Robin starts babbling again…until she mentions the “old flames being snuffed out” aka Steve. But then she goes back with the same demeanour about mentioning “ does that make us friends?” So she enjoys Robin communicating to her much more than Steve or Jonathan. And I hope that either she or Steve accidentally drops something for Nance to “pick up” ( it’ll probably Steve) something like, “Cheer up! After we save the world, you can be with Vicky safe and sound!” And then the “Who’s Vicky?” Anyway, I’m babbling on.
