This is a wonderful introduction to the program. Thank you!
Really thanks for all the information you provide in this video.
Gr8 insights - Will start the program this Spring. Thank u vm
Yogita, great channel for people interested to learn.
I got motivated to pursue the MS program after your nice explanation. Thanks from my heart.
Thanks Yogita, very informative as usual!
I have a request, can you please make a video on the list of the 10 courses that you took (and in which order) with a brief on each course and what it added to you.
Super Thanks for sharing your experience! Will be really helpful while deciding the courses. If possible, Can you please share a video on subjects selection (as per your experience) for the Computing System specialization? Your experience in the course alongwith Industry Experience makes it best combination, interested to know your subject selection for this specialization. Thanks
Definitely this was very useful information
thanks , great content
Thank you so much Yogita for sharing this with us.
Could you please make a video on what are the benefits of doing an online Masters like OMSCS from an American University if you are working in India as a Software Engineer. I would like to know the details on the following:
1. Who should pursue such a course?
2. How much impact would it have on one's career given the time and effort to successfully complete the course?
3. As I have seen from many videos and articles, most people take 3-4 years to complete this masters along with their job. In that case would you recommend staying in one company for the duration of the course or should one be open to switch (while pursuing this course).
It would be great if you could touch on such points, especially for the people who would be taking this course from India.
Thank you so much for sharing us precious information in very detail. I am thinking to take OMSCS in 2023 so this video helps me a lot. Thank you again.
Are you able to complete this course on time?
Thank you! :-)
Thanks for your help. I too have applied and got selected in the program. I am doing machine learning specializarion.
Congratulations 🎉
Thx for the sharing! I’m applying for OMS cybersecurity in information security to Georgia Tech! Will you be able to create a video to cover it?
Hi Yogita, after submitting recommenders name for LORs in the application, do we generally receive an email once they have successfully submitted from their side? Didn't find a satisfactory response on reddit/OMSCS or anywhere online.
Hi Yogita, Thank you. it was very informative. I have one doubt, Did you need to give 10% every week. or there were some time you got some time to relax or have a trip to travel some place or attend family occasions considering only one course is taken per semester.
or was it like you needed to do projects/ assignments every week/weekend and all time.. including weekends also went in there? please share.
Hi thank you for sharing your experience. I got 23 Spring AD. Your video is very helpful. Do you have any recommend 1st course for the ppl who doesn’t have CS background?
Hi @sudoCode... Do they have any provision for choosing on premise for 1 semester or something like that.
Are lectures are recorded? Are they interactive?? Like explaining through animation.
What about practicals??
Is any who is trying to build his startup can gain something from this course??
Thanks very helpful I got invitation letter to Gtech OMCS program spring 2022 looking forward to it
That's great. All the best 👍💯
Thanks Yogita, I got my application accepted for this Fall 2023. It all started by all of sudden your video appeared for me while browsing RUclips and something clicked and I got inspired. The window for registration has not started yet. I have basic query here. Can we register & take the subjects (both mandatory & elective) in any order as we wish to or there is some pattern we need to follow? Secondly, what is this foundational courses, are they same like elective subjects? for Fall semester, it seems like mandatory?
Hi @sudoCODE, Thank you for such an informative video.
Can I pursue this Online Degree from Georgia Tech from outside the US?
Hello,
What is the programming language used throughout the program, is it Java or its open to use any programming language of your choice while doing assignments and projects, how far are the professors flexible?
mam, can you please share information about the work you have done under the IIT professor and LOR you got?
Can you explain the process if i decide to skip one semester for say any personal reason ? How does that look?
Aapko, gaurav sir, rachit sir ko dekhkar bas ek feeling hi aati hai ki, hardworking aur humble hona bohot zaruri hota hai successful hone ke liye. You guys are far better than so called SWE influencers available on linkedin and youtube, providing poor guidance to students for their own profit only. Thanks a lot to all of you for providing free quality content related to the context only.
I always gets inspiration from you guys like:"abhi aur aage jaana hai, give up nhi krna, mehnati log 100% sucessful ho jaate hai, don't loose hope."
Just work hard. Humility aa jayegi with time 🙂
Hi if I do not have any programming background, would it make sense for me to sign up for OMSCS Georgia Tech or UpGrad LJMU ? I heard Georgia Tech is super hard for beginners but not sure if its true ? Thanks !!
Hi Yogitha, Did u do masters from Georgia Institute of Technology while doing software engineer job? Is it possible to get job in USA after doing master remotely?
Best regards from Brazil
Is there any access to books/materials/research papers or online University library?
Thanks for all the insights. I have a doubt that might be stupid, is there any restriction on the age of the applicants? I mean if you are older than 35 yo (just saying a number for the sake of my question) would you be allowed to submit and receive the acceptance letter from the GT? Thanks
Not at all. There are military veterans who are in 40s or 50s who got acceptance and are pursuing the course. Age no bar for knowledge and learning. Go for it. :)
Thank you for sharing this information. What made you to choose MS over nano degrees provided by edtech websites like udacity, courseera, etc..
Right now I am confused whether to choose MS or specialized courses from udacity.
go to ms
could u make a video on subjects which u have chosen in omscs
Is it helpful to get into faang company?
I’m an indian. If I apply and got admission, can I study it in india or else I need to go to US.
Does they provide student visa?
And how will be the exams conducted?
if you are working at no name company. omscs will be better option
Where are you doing your online masters?
For anyone interested in the easiest path for this degree, I have done some research online and on OMS website and determined this is the easiest route and will be the one I take should I get accepted

One more thing about registration - If you are in waitlist then there is "Free for all Friday" where people shift from one course to another and lucky peeps can get the course they want.
Also, if you find the course too difficult in the initial weeks you can drop it before the deadline and your fees is refunded but if the drop deadline is passed then you will have to withdraw and your transcript will show "W" for that subject
Super Thanks :) for sharing this !
May i know what is your specialization?
I am currently an OMSCS student!! Very Helpful videos! Thank you!!
Bootcamps vs masters ?
Theres no bootcamp can compare to masters
Bootcamp dont even teach distributed system or algo
#50k soon thanks for sharing with us #sodocode
