Super Thanks for sharing your experience! Will be really helpful while deciding the courses. If possible, Can you please share a video on subjects selection (as per your experience) for the Computing System specialization? Your experience in the course alongwith Industry Experience makes it best combination, interested to know your subject selection for this specialization. Thanks

Thank you so much Yogita for sharing this with us.
Could you please make a video on what are the benefits of doing an online Masters like OMSCS from an American University if you are working in India as a Software Engineer. I would like to know the details on the following:
    1. Who should pursue such a course?
    2. How much impact would it have on one's career given the time and effort to successfully complete the course?
    3. As I have seen from many videos and articles, most people take 3-4 years to complete this masters along with their job. In that case would you recommend staying in one company for the duration of the course or should one be open to switch (while pursuing this course).
It would be great if you could touch on such points, especially for the people who would be taking this course from India.

Hi Yogita, after submitting recommenders name for LORs in the application, do we generally receive an email once they have successfully submitted from their side? Didn't find a satisfactory response on reddit/OMSCS or anywhere online.

Hi Yogita, Thank you. it was very informative. I have one doubt, Did you need to give 10% every week. or there were some time you got some time to relax or have a trip to travel some place or attend family occasions considering only one course is taken per semester.
or was it like you needed to do projects/ assignments every week/weekend and all time.. including weekends also went in there? please share.

Thanks Yogita, I got my application accepted for this Fall 2023. It all started by all of sudden your video appeared for me while browsing RUclips and something clicked and I got inspired. The window for registration has not started yet. I have basic query here. Can we register & take the subjects (both mandatory & elective) in any order as we wish to or there is some pattern we need to follow? Secondly, what is this foundational courses, are they same like elective subjects? for Fall semester, it seems like mandatory?

Aapko, gaurav sir, rachit sir ko dekhkar bas ek feeling hi aati hai ki, hardworking aur humble hona bohot zaruri hota hai successful hone ke liye. You guys are far better than so called SWE influencers available on linkedin and youtube, providing poor guidance to students for their own profit only. Thanks a lot to all of you for providing free quality content related to the context only.
I always gets inspiration from you guys like:"abhi aur aage jaana hai, give up nhi krna, mehnati log 100% sucessful ho jaate hai, don't loose hope."

Thanks for all the insights. I have a doubt that might be stupid, is there any restriction on the age of the applicants? I mean if you are older than 35 yo (just saying a number for the sake of my question) would you be allowed to submit and receive the acceptance letter from the GT? Thanks

Not at all. There are military veterans who are in 40s or 50s who got acceptance and are pursuing the course. Age no bar for knowledge and learning. Go for it. :)

Right now I am confused whether to choose MS or specialized courses from udacity.

One more thing about registration - If you are in waitlist then there is "Free for all Friday" where people shift from one course to another and lucky peeps can get the course they want.
Also, if you find the course too difficult in the initial weeks you can drop it before the deadline and your fees is refunded but if the drop deadline is passed then you will have to withdraw and your transcript will show "W" for that subject
