This is one of my top schools for CS major, and this helps, the culture looks super chill and fun.
One question tho is how bad is the workload for this school? When I looked at Carnegie Mellon, apparently there is 50 hours of homework at minimum, and CS students basically have no life. How bad will the workload be here?

hey, how would you rate your experience at tech? in terms of rigour, work-life experience and recruiting
Rigor classes is definitely there/can be very tough if you take harder threads/classes such as Intelligence and Theory, but you could also take easier threads/classes and not have to go through that. Upper level classes from 3000-4000 do tend to get difficult but by then you're used to the content level/workload. Its not insane, and its definitely manageable to have a good social/hobbies balance as long as you don't take an unreasonable number of credits (in which case you're asking for it). By recruiting Im assuming you mean from tech companies - I have friends at every place in FAANG or FAANG level places (a lot at each) and even top quant firms here so CS recruiting at Tech is extremely good, companies come all the time and the name will definitely get you interviews. It might be hard to get a freshmen year internship at most, but it gets easier and by the time you're a third year you will be getting interviews from most places you want (passing the interview is a different topic, but again the opportunity is there)

on average - it is definitely not easy
but very managable
@@HarisHussain like rlly hard?… as a high school freshman what should I do rn/during my high school years to prepare myself to go to GA tech for computer science?.. I have little skills in coding, but I’m pretty good at graphic & 3D design. I want to become a UI/UX designer
