I am not, but I do have some trips coming up that I'd love to document. Plus, it never hurts to have a camera on the bike, in case you need one for evidentiary purposes (hopefully never an issue!). One thing I'm looking for is a lack of faff - I don't really want to have to worry about multiple devices on my helmet, or syncing anything up in iMovie. The Insta that you're using looks like all that has been taken into account, when it was designed. Thanks for doing this video! For those who are wondering about the rings on the 3.5 mm jacks - one ring == TS, which is mono, two == TRS, which is stereo, and 3 == TRRS, which is stereo (two channels), plus a 3rd channel for microphone input. The reason only two are needed here are the stereo transmission is all that's necessary, the 3rd mic ring is redundant.
Thanks for this video. I just switched from GoPro to Ace Pro and I'm exploring best settings. I may play around with the bluetooth connection to Cardo. For now, using my existing mic and doing some testing.
@RemboUSMC And yes, I have now confirmed that the Insta360 Ace Pro easily connects to my Cardo Packtalk Black, and the audio quality using the supplied Cardo boom mic inside my modular helmet (HJC RPHA 90s Carbon) is actually pretty decent. You could use any other mic that connects to the Cardo system audio jack, so that Shure mic would work too as mounted inside the helmet. Given this, it would enable you to mount the Ace Pro both on the helmet or anywhere on the bike and capture both video/audio directly to that camera. It's pretty slick-- you should check it out for sure as it would save needing to use the USB-c audio adapter while also keeping that left side door on the camera closed thus retaining the camera's waterproof capability.
I’ve been using the hell out of mine. Like the handlebar mount better than chin mount. Can turn it to film front rear side ways. . The only downside for me is the editing app for the ace pro I find the quick app from GoPro is easier especially to make a highlights video.
Well, I just got Insta360 ACEPro yesterday for the best price, I figure I would mount it upside down for flexibility angle adjustment during my vlogging.
@@RemboUSMC so you take the mic and line it in your helmet behind the liner so you don’t have all that cord wrapped around your mount I’ll send pics of mine
Are considering motovlogging?

He's too old to ride, so he just does video in his garage to make him feel like a biker. LOL
Cool thanks Rembo🤙 I’ll leave it to the professionals 😉 Cheers!

I will absolutely have to try that out because if that’s the case, I’m good to go. Mohammed is already set up with my Cardo.
I'd like to get some information about the attached mount of the helmet
I switched from Ride Tech because mine kept pushing the GoPro adapter up. I switched to MotoMounts and I love them. Put them on 3 helmets.
Good tip!
doesn't the type-c port get wet in rain?

Awesome

Yeah, on a ton of my videos. Especially my recent videos.
@@RemboUSMC ok thanks sir
Is that system microphone waterproof ?
Not waterproof but water resistant
Put the mic behind the chin curtain, or the cable will be broken because of the visor..
Horrible way to do your mic that way
Please explain the ideal way to set up the microphone. I appreciate constructive criticism when it has something constructive attached to the comment.
