Been in Portland for 15+ years, have never been to any of these spots. Thanks for the list!
Thank you, Tristan. This was the best coffee tour I have seen. I've been visiting Portland for most of my life and enjoy its coffee culture, but now I have a new mission to visit these cafes. I love the international theme you were after. Your video was super chill and you captured Portland's downtown scenes like a pro! Thanks for sacrificing by drinking all those cappuccinos for us.
Thanks for much for the comment! Means a lot! Glad you enjoyed! If you end up visiting any of the cafes please let me know what you think of their coffee!
Amazing videoooo caffeinated mister!
love all the jump cuts and new edit styles 😊
ugh, Portland coffee and donut shops are the two things I miss most !
Really solid casual format, really enjoyed watching your description of all these interesting spots and the casual b-roll
Thanks so much for the comment very kind of you to say!
Honestly such a fantastic video with great information, editing, and music. Love getting to see your adventures
Great list. We are lucky to have so many coffee roasters and shops… I could add about a dozen more but it’s just nice to see shops being featured that I haven’t seen get as much limelight as others. Other sources have like the same six on rotation. ☕️❤️
Love this! An amazing variety of different coffee shops ! You must of been buzzing after all the coffee ☕️
Hahaa oh I definitely was feeling electric😅😂 thanks for watching :)
@ 🤣
Heart is by far my favorite coffee roaster in Portland.
Heading soon to Portland for a quick day trip. I think Spella or Kilo D' Cofi is a must try.
Portland has all the hidden coffee gems! Great video
Yeah so many great places! Thanks for watching !!
As a local, Ca Phe is my favorite! I get that you only ordered cappuccinos for comparison, but I highly recommend their ube latte. So glad you highlighted them and Kalesa
Fun to get ideas for new places to check out. TY!
Thanks for watching!!
Ok this intro SLAPS
Thank you!!
I'd appreciate it if you could list the coffee shops in your blurb below the video, it wasn't always easy to catch the name or location of the shops. I live near Portland and would love to try some of these.

@@TristanMartinn Thank you!
@TristanMartinn youre doing Gods work
Thank you. I couldn't figure out the names either. Maybe you could put that on the screen the next time.
Hello Tristan, love your video. You're lucky to have so many options. Every Coffee shop you visit seems so close. How many Coffee shops would you say Portland have compared other cities.
It depends on the city for sure but downtown specifically does have more than other “downtowns” I’ve been to! Portland has lots of specialty coffee shops rather than like just cafes so that’s the fun part!
Funny how you say “café de osha”, like a Uruguayan would, instead of how someone from Mexico would. 😂
(The vid really makes me want to visit Portland and redo your coffee rout.)
Hahah I did a couple takes saying it with the y sound but it didn’t sound right coming out of my mouth 😅😅 glad you enjoyed the video!!!
Heart and Keeper have some of the best coffee in the city. If you want a legit Vietnamese Ca Phe, Friends Share Community Space has a pop up on Sundays
Nice! Thanks for the video.
Thank you for watching!!!
Damn, nothing less appealing than a "high acidity kinda sour" cappuccino
It’s just kinda sharp on your tongue! A little tingly and tart, but it wasn’t bad just different lol! It’s normally not something I notice too much, but it was easier to taste the differences in flavor the more cafes I went to😂 Although bright espresso usually isn’t my favorite 😅
I'd recommend dropping by Albina for a latte. A little gem tucked away in NE Portland.
Thank you!! I’ll give it a try next time !
Thank you for the video! I enjoyed it🙌🏼
Clickable google map links would be very helpful! Or if you can share a link that has all the spots saved will be fun to look at too☺️
From next time is fine tho:)
So what's your favorite coffee place in Portland? I have some family visiting soon and want to take them to the best coffee shops. Favorite espresso? Favorite latte?
I think Spella has the best espresso hands down. And I didn’t show it in this video, but behind the museum cafe has lots of really cool drink options and I’m not kidding that matcha was really good;)
I think my favorite latte is from Coava coffee!
@@TristanMartinnthanks! My favorite is matcha so will definitely check it out.
So close to 5k views!!!
Addresses or cross streets would be nice to have. Otherwise, nice video with helpful info. Thanks .

@ thanks so much! Looking forward to trying some of them this weekend 💜
I'm having trouble trying to figure out the names of the coffeehouses you're showcasing as you don't say them clearly. It would be good if you had the names written on the screen or if you showed the front of their shops with their business names.
Happy to see this type of content, buuut, you really gotta do something about the audio. There’s way too much ambient noise and it makes you difficult to understand. Especially for those of us with Auditory Processing Disorder (common in people w adhd and on the spectrum)
Sorry I just had a lapel mic on and not one on the camera which is why the ambient sound is kinda loud at some points! The audio is usually better 🥲 it won’t happen again hopefully!! There’s subtitles though if that helps! Thanks for watching!
Damn no Proud Mary? You could hit the Aussies in this video too
I was gonna say the same thing … but he only did Downtown/Pearl area right? Nothing in the burbs seemed to be considered. Proud Mary is definitely my fav…. Melbourne #1 … Portland #2…. I’m yet to try Proud Mary in Austin TX
Great video just a heads up we dont pronounce cafe de olla that way, is pronounced like cafe de oya.
The dialect of Spanish I speak pronounces the “ll” as a “sh” sound:) but since it’s a Mexican drink i probably should’ve pronounced it the way they do 😅
If you're willing to head SE, Kepper might be the best coffee in the country.
Very interested!! I’ll check it out soon! Thanks for the recommendation
Keeper? Best in the country HAHAH? What makes youn say that. As a born In Portland coffee nerd who lives across the street from keeper, this isn't valid. They don't even offer any small micro roasts, rare drops, rare beans etc. It's just like any other cafe in the city. They dont even roast their own beans, it's all Coava. Just go to Coava. lol
Have you ever heard of SEY? lol
coffee to go doesn't taste as good, especially I think with cappuccino.
Definitely agree! I always try to drink it at the shop!
No good coffee is ever drunk from a paper cup.
No Coava coffee, or stumptown wow.
