Quite honestly this fight is really close between Optimus and Megatron even though i love these two characters because not only are they longtime arch-enemies for millennia in a war between autobots and decepticons but also they are the legendaries that neither refuses to give up or disappears into every continuity just like batman and joker both are truly badass leaders in my opinion
Durability and strength Goes to Megatron and he wins in this series because he is much more experienced while it's just kinda the beginning for optimus
He literally almost killed Optimus at the end of the game💀 bumblebee literally had to take a shot for Optimus, and only after that, it’s the players choice who wins, but, when you play as Optimus, it’s a lot harder to beat megatron than it is to beat Optimus. I’m gonna have to give this one to megatron, while technically they’re on the same level. Megatron is just more skilled in combat, before the war he was literally a gladiator, Optimus was a librarian.
And Optimus is actually the 13th Prime. The librarian is only Orion Pax. the moment he got the matrix of leadership again, he immediately remembers his life before he was Orion Pax

But saying that megatron is weaker than him just doesn’t make any sense, his whole character is built up to be this strong, intimidating guy. And Optimus is built up to be this smart guy, who believes in the preservation of life, no matter the race. But coming down to a battle unless Optimus uses his brains, megatron is absolutely destroying him, Megatron doesn’t play fair, megatron will use anything to get the edge, even stuff like dark energon, which had a huge chance to completely kill him, but he took it without a second thought, that’s why he’s stronger, that dark energon boost severely increases his strength, that paired with his battle IQ, and Optimus just can’t really fight him, now, there’s arguments to be made that Optimus can beat him, and I fully agree, Optimus can beat him, but megatron can do it way more consistently, and in some of the movies, megatron does successfully kill him. But plot armour brings him back always
