Now *this* is what war sounds like. There is no glory or triumph in this theme. No epic bravery or melancholic dreariness. Just a cacophonous harmony of fear, dread and desperation, fuelled by paranoia and an instinctual desire to survive. Such feelings can only arise from war, a war whose purpose has been twisted and transformed into asinine obscurity, all the while the only world you’ve ever really known crumbles to scrap around you. That’s the sad nature of the war for Cybertron and this theme perfectly captures that hopelessness and dread so beautifully and elegantly. The bellowing bass, the chanting choir, the ruthless battering of the percussion, the wailing brass and the racing rhythm of the synth and strings. All of it is influenced by that feeling of dread and despair, merging together like Bruticus to form a glorious tribute to the death and destruction that has ravaged Cybertron for millennia. This war may have had a noble beginning, but it has ultimately lead to Cybertron’s downfall. This theme is not only a tribute to that war, but a requiem for the peace it destroyed, an anthem of bygones. And yet, after all the chaos and violence the theme evokes, as soon as the music ends on that final blare of the brass, the final bang of the drum, silence ensues. That is the silence of respite, reflection, and… hope. The final scene where the Ark and the Nemesis are hurtling towards the space bridge with this theme blaring in the background perfectly encapsulates that chaos that the theme fortifies. And then the space bridge collapses, the theme ends, and all is silent. The cries of war fade, and it brought in its wake a small flicker of hope that Optimus clings to with his entire spark. The theme of war gives way to the silence of peace. It amazes me that all these emotions can be compelled from a theme that only spans two minutes, and yet is used as the background music for a startup menu! But if you ask me, this is how you properly introduce a game about war and the consequences of it. Fall of Cybertron and its predecessor, War for Cybertron, will always hold a special place in my heart as one of the anchors of my childhood, and I am eternally grateful for it. +sparky10142 like maybe the autobots return with enough power to reboot cybertron's core and make the planet habitable again, however the remaining con' forces will try to stop them (i'm guessing that megatron and a few other characters may or may not be dead but its possible that during the time taht they were gone, the cons had heavy loses including death of high eladers, like megatron and his loyalists, meaning soundwave and others) (for vehicel forms, i'm thinking of some human vehicles and others where ever the other autobot forces have gone to other civilized planets, and maybe being able to play as an autobot/decepticon soldier, the AI enemies/allies that you fight along side and against, as well as favorite characters)
"Transformers: New Cybertron" Or "Transformers: Sons of Cybertron" Both Autobots and Deceptions are aware that ancient Cybertronians visited Earth before and either tried to establish a colony or used the planet's resources to harvest energon. Most of the Decepticons are beings that lived in rot, it was the worker that survived the day in very demanding and heavy jobs, also many of them were prisoners who played it in the arena. Their original purpose was to get better life opportunities, because their situation hurt them, it killed them. They longed for freedom and equality, nut as we already know, Megatron corrupted his power, and his thirst for more of it misrepresented the Decepticons' original purpose, changing it for exercising tyranny and the supremacy of the strongest. Meg after all is a good speaker, and he knows how to deal with the Decepticons because he was also in the same situation, so he enjoys great sympathy from his side. The Autobots are mostly bureaucrats, scientists, scholars, workers with better physical and emotional load, and with more stable lives. Their purpose was to stop the Cons from all the riots they did, but later with Megatron's change of heart, the Autobots were on a mission to fight for what was the original Decepticon ideal, freedom and equality for all. It is ironic to see how the ideals of both sides have changed. Undoubtedly one empathizes with the Decepticons at first, but one ends up understanding the Autobots. This is not a story of good versus evil, it is a great gray scale in which everyone wants the best for their side, but they are selfish and prefer to keep their ideals until the end. If Transformers Reactivate is a success, we may have a remaster, or giving the standards games are held today, we may a full-fledged remake of Fall of Cybertron, and perhaps, War of Cybertron, the second is chronological first game, as it makes sense it would a remake as well but merely for plot context

This song just truly speaks how dire times are for the Autobots. The way it blends creates a feeling of little hope and great loss. And it's all done without words.

Watching walkthrough videos of this game made me learn that Fall of Cybertron is one of the best Transformers games to date. Here, the Autobots and the Decepticons are on their last legs and are both trying to leave their ravaged planet Cybertron. The Decepticons, however, aren't letting their mortal enemies leave without a fight. The Autobots in turn, struggle to stay alive. The soundtrack certainly portrays the last days of Cybertron very well, and this song from the opening is proof of that. Now I wish that I played the game myself.
When I put the game in and started to hear this, I just froze because I think I had heard this before on an epic music mix. This Main Menu song is so good! =D
The nostalgia is simply overwhelming I remember looking at this game and wanting it so badly I begged my parents and they eventually did get me it I can’t even realize how lucky I am

I grew up with this on Xbox, I love this game! and will always hold a special place in my heart, the gameplay is chiefs kiss, and the aesthetic is perfect. if you have an xbox 360 and your a fan of Transformers you gotta play it if you haven't yet, its great
there are books that are also meant to be a part of this continuity one of which is called retribution which takes place before they arrive on earth but after this game also there are comics that show you what the dino bots are up to between fall of cybertron and the end of transformers prime one of wich was called rage of the dinobots i think they dont line up perfectly but then again this is a buteauful mess and i love it all the same.
Prime was released before this game came out and nothing was planned for the aligned continuity but I do agree that there should have been a game that filled in the gaps between the Cybertron games and Prime.
My fellow Autobots, I just got word from prime. Cybertron has fallen. we must help evacuate all other Autobots to The Ark. Im staying behind to help defend Cybertron from the Decepticons. If none of you receive another transmission from me then. Till All Are One

@@music-ultra1226 Not even one!
War for Cybertron (the previous game) is it's only equal
The game that deserves a movie instead of a wonky goofy version of new Transformers movie.
From what I understand, One is actually supposed to be a bit more serious in tone, the trailer just does a terrible job at showing it
Post Apocalyptic, mecha metal grinding goodness
The Cybertron games stories are low key depressing
Dariddler Depressing but yet so inspiring
@@_mronk3208 can't wait to play it on ps5
Fr. I was 11 years old when i played war for cybertron and fall of cybertron . It legit traumatised me and made me realise how voilent and awfull a war can be.
Takes me back to when I played this on the PlayStation 3. Man good times🔥🔥
I know it’ll never happen, but I really want a remaster of this game to just come out of the blue.
IMAGINE THE HYPE IF IT WERE REAL
For the glory of Cybertron
If Transformers Reactivate is a success, we may have a remaster, or giving the standards games are held today, we may a full-fledged remake of Fall of Cybertron, and perhaps, War of Cybertron, the second is chronological first game, as it makes sense it would a remake as well but merely for plot context
@@Toltron14don't you agree?
No worries man. If I ever get famous from my music I’ll be rallying behind a remake of these games or even a sequel
This song played when Chuck Norris was born
The nostalgia hits hard , RIP TF FoC
Now this is the true theme of the finno-korean hyper war
Optimus: Cybertron, the home world we Autobots have strived to protect from the Decepticons... Can no longer sustain us. Eons of civil war have caused the greatest of casualties. Our planet's very core has shut down, halting it's production of life giving energon.
Most of us have abandoned our home, in hopes of finding a new life amongst the stars. I am Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots. We do not know how many of our brothers escaped Megatron's blockade, I can only be certain of this... Just one transport remains.
6 days earlier...
Even though this game is old but its still epic even the soundtracks
Still listening to this in 2021 you are a legend
High moon needs to get the rights to the IP back
Literally the only reason to use YT music over spotify
Same bruh 😂
"One shall stand"
"And the one shall fall!"
- Optimus Prime and Megatron©
The best Transformers video game I ever seen in my video game career.
bad ass and epicness compacted into 1 nostalgic game... A almost Forgotten Master Piece...
I love this song so much...
It almost competes with Steve Jablonsky's soundtracks. I love the transformers soundtracks so much.
+Kryten Mark Makes me wish that I could reenact Megatron's demise at the hands of Metroplex ... if I happen to have figures of both of them.
You and me both. Well, I DO have WFC Megatron (repainted 'Rage over Cybertron' version), but I don't have Metroplex.
***** We can only dream, right?
Yes, we can. ^.^
If I heard this song my mind says this is Fall of Cybertron
2 like 2 medecine
Gives me goosebump and makes me cry. God how can someone create such a masterpiece soundtrack for a masterpiece game.
This song just truly speaks how dire times are for the Autobots. The way it blends creates a feeling of little hope and great loss. And it's all done without words.
No matter what anyone says, this is what Transformers is supposed to be. 2 sides of a war constantly fighting for survival.
"Stop running you fools! Stand and fight!"
Yes Lord Megatron.
For the glory of Cybertron
Guess what!? Transformers FOC and WFC Multiplayer have returned thanks to ReEnergized! Go check it out!
Link me please!
I found my old copy of this game and a tidal-wave of nostalgia hit me as soon as my 360 loaded the menu and played this theme. Good times...

As a kid, this was the first game to make me love OST in games
1:21
Megatron: I SHALL NOT BE DENIED
Optimus: THE VORTEX IS TEARING THE SHIP APART
*Both grunt*
*Epic ending scene*
Till All Are One
Boys cheered at the chance to have a new transformers toy.
Men cried knowing Cybertron will never again bear life.
I love the first minute of this track, it gives me the feels of having my final moments before the final battle begins, just like the cutscene with Prime's speech with Megatron it's so fitting.
The music totally captures the essence of the transformers franchise. War, death, more wars, more death, and hope
I grew up with this on Xbox, I love this game! and will always hold a special place in my heart, the gameplay is chiefs kiss, and the aesthetic is perfect. if you have an xbox 360 and your a fan of Transformers you gotta play it if you haven't yet, its great
I still play it to this day
+1000 respect
Same here bro
That final battle from Fall of Cybertron was something else and honestly one of the best final bosses in my own gaming journey
It’s tragic we never got to see what happened next
Not even Prime had any idea how to continue from this game
Till All Are One Brother
there are books that are also meant to be a part of this continuity one of which is called retribution which takes place before they arrive on earth but after this game also there are comics that show you what the dino bots are up to between fall of cybertron and the end of transformers prime one of wich was called rage of the dinobots i think they dont line up perfectly but then again this is a buteauful mess and i love it all the same.
Prime was released before this game came out and nothing was planned for the aligned continuity but I do agree that there should have been a game that filled in the gaps between the Cybertron games and Prime.
After so many eons of time. It's still perfect!
For the glory of Cybertron
My fellow Autobots, I just got word from prime. Cybertron has fallen. we must help evacuate all other Autobots to The Ark. Im staying behind to help defend Cybertron from the Decepticons. If none of you receive another transmission from me then. Till All Are One
For the glory of Cybertron
"Hey wake up its 2012 lets take turns playing transformers fall of cybertron"
this game made a just a forgotten war abandoned into a desperate effort for brave worriars to free themselves from a deluded maniac
This is the best transformers song ever it makes u feel like you're in the war
Rams Fan 4life Whaddya mean? WE ARE THE WAR.
the perfect music for explaining the finno korean hyperwar lore
The song of the fallen heroes
This gives me some type of revolutionary vibe
Still one of my favorite game of all time. I truly do miss this game and pray we got a remaster 🥲
This is the meaning of life
Finds out Activision won't make a third game.
Me: NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! I WILL NOT BE DENNIEEEEEED!!!!!!!!!!
METROPLEX HEEDS THE CALL OF THE LAST PRIME
Literal goosebumps every time I hear this soundtrack
i remember playing this on my friends PS3...the nostalgia feels so good
It's been FIVE YEARS, High Moon. And we're still waiting. Waiting for your return.
Damn! 5 years already? Time flies man...
High moon either went bankrupt or got Fired, Theyre not making games anymore
Aws Iee Shhhhh! Let people ENJOY things......
(Runs off to cry)
Aws Iee Also pretty sure they've been codeveloping Destiny
We are here. We are waiting.
Im legit crying while listening this omg this game is literally my childhood
There's a richness to this theme, truly amazing.
Look at everything that goes on in these two games, then realise it's in the same continuity as Rescue Bots
I was there... 3000 years ago. What a great game!
agreed!
My friend was obsessed with this game and song, idk if he still is, but I still find this Prime
To this day I can't listen to this without tearing up at the first note
I don't care what anyone says, for me THIS is Transformers
This is badass, probably one of the best soundtrack in a video game.
Rap these days could never compete against this
Never
Oh bro, I want to cry when I hear it, that game is my childhood...
