There will never be a Transformers game with the same heart, passion and soul of the Cybertron games. The gameplay, story and score was so incredible. What Activision did was despicable.

Only we who played knew it was the best of the time, the cybertron games were a crystal city waiting to unveil it's true beauty, only to be destroyed by the corrupt and greedy, we who played in the crystal city knew it was us keeping it fun, the fun millions more could experience, A time when we could all experience, the crystal city in it's curtains, though it had made it's way to the stage, the makers tried to force it, but those of us who kept it going, were it's last stand, until we could defend no longer, they took what we loved, and kept thousands, millions more from experiencing the Crystal city

Late but Transformers exodus was high moon next cybertron game before Activision ripped them off with Deadpool so after the fails of Deadpool high moon employees was fired and Transformers exodus was canceled
Fall of Cybertron is a prequel to prime? I know fall of Cybertron Has G1 and prime. Prime is my only thought about fall of Cybertron because it has the nemesis with Wheeljack by the multiplayer dlc with ultra Magnus preceptor & blast off.

someone said this before and it is true, this is the greatest transformers story ever told. they made a huge mistake when they axed this company. in 35 years these characters never got so much respect as they were given in fall of cybertron. the live action films are a travesty
That shot of Cybertron's burning war-torn surface in the main menu combined with this music is one of the most powerful tone setters I've ever seen in a game. It immediately tells you that this isn't going to be some heroic final effort to retake it but instead a desperate attempt by the Autobots to escape their doomed planet. This game is basically the Halo Reach of the Transformers series, you know right from the start how it's going to end. There's no triumph, no glory, no victory, just survival.

It's a shame how someone can put so much hard work,passion,dedication and effort into something just for it to be cheated out of (I really wish we had more games that put this much story,plot and care with it.........and to finally play as the bad guys as a way of getting their perspective on the story)
This theme fills me with soo much emotion it’s hard to explain, I played this game through tough times in my childhood and it might sound stupid but when I was struggling with things mentally or even physically, I knew that I could always come back to this game, something I love. So sad that it had to end. I guess all good things must come to an end at some point

This game is one of my favorites. It was the best in the franchise and still is. It had amazing stories, characters, and world building. I just wish they made another game where they fought in space.

Is it possible to request High Moon to make more Transformers games? Both they and PlatinumGames put out amazing Transformers titles, they need to make more. Can we get that as a petition? Maybe call it "Make Transformers Great Again" or something?
While I commend High Moon and Platinum Games for their outstanding quality in Game's production... I doubt Activision would ever let them do so again, as they're just too damn greedy. Neither of these developers would willingly agree with Activision' current practices either... So as much as I might want to see a sequel. I wouldn't want one if it's coming from Activision... No matter what development team it is. Highmoon and Platinum both understand that a game is for the player enjoyment, and that motivates players to spend more... Activision, EA, 2K, etc. Only understand one thing... how best to make a game as Monetized as possible. Originally there was going to be a sequel, but from what I remember it was going to be more like a "Transformers Casino"... just monetized to hell.

Yep. Fall of Cybertron was made after War For Cybertron, and is a direct sequel to War For Cybertron. I've had both games, and I got War For Cybertron for $10 used before Fall of Cybertron was announced.

This gives me chills knowing the Cybertronians fought for eons.
This theme fills me with soo much emotion it’s hard to explain, I played this game through tough times in my childhood and it might sound stupid but when I was struggling with things mentally or even physically, I knew that I could always come back to this game, something I love.
So sad that it had to end.

This game is one of my favorites. It was the best in the franchise and still is. It had amazing stories, characters, and world building. I just wish they made another game where they fought in space.

The nostalgia would be broken by a comeback of this game, but at the same time, it remains my favorite rendition of any Transformers game out there. I just wish it hadn’t died out so seemingly fast... I still play the campaign, and I also really enjoyed the multiplayer aspect of it, much more than that of WFC. Don’t get me wrong, WFC had good multiplayer, but really, it shined in the campaign, same as this game. This game had a great multiplayer facet to it, and again I just wish it would come back LoL 😂

The build up to that moment, with the absolutely fantastic score accompanying it… this game has one of the greatest video game campaigns I have ever experienced.

Is it possible to request High Moon to make more Transformers games? Both they and PlatinumGames put out amazing Transformers titles, they need to make more. Can we get that as a petition? Maybe call it "Make Transformers Great Again" or something?

While I commend High Moon and Platinum Games for their outstanding quality in Game's production... I doubt Activision would ever let them do so again, as they're just too damn greedy. Neither of these developers would willingly agree with Activision' current practices either... So as much as I might want to see a sequel. I wouldn't want one if it's coming from Activision... No matter what development team it is.
Highmoon and Platinum both understand that a game is for the player enjoyment, and that motivates players to spend more... Activision, EA, 2K, etc. Only understand one thing... how best to make a game as Monetized as possible.
Originally there was going to be a sequel, but from what I remember it was going to be more like a "Transformers Casino"... just monetized to hell.

@@mikedavies6979 yes I have been, and based on their portfolio, they are more than capable of doing that, and in regards to the crunch, what many people are forgetting is that their CEO never said that they wouldn't do a crunch again, he said that they would try to keep it as small as possible, and all of the workers will be paid for the extra workload.

Dennis Hofmann Technically, a prequel game is a game that takes place before a previous game, but is made after it. In this case, War For Cybertron isn't a prequel - it was just the first of the 2 titles.

Yep. Fall of Cybertron was made after War For Cybertron, and is a direct sequel to War For Cybertron. I've had both games, and I got War For Cybertron for $10 used before Fall of Cybertron was announced.

Badass, but also slightly depressing. Specifically because it reminds us how drastic things have gotten with Cybertron dying and Energon becoming a finite resource.
