Kanami's guitar solo definitely has World Domination vibe. What's new though, they are "adding" elements to the sound they already established. What I hear more in their recent music is "traditional" element. The chorus in this song sounds very familiar to my Japanese ear, but it isn't the modern era J-pop that I'm hearing.
It's the chorus that is reminiscent of japanese festival music, however with Saiki's vocal replacing flute. Plus 70s-80s Japanese city pop.
I think this song will appeal more to Japanese audience
This song sounds fresh and different, yet nostalgic to me.

Ain't no band who writes, plays and performs like Band-Maid! While I've watched Magie climb from an initial 6, when I first heard it, to a 7 and now an 8 (taken from a recent survey of my cerebral musical cortex ;-), I always appreciate the execution, sound and, once again, performance of all their songs... even starting with "Made In Japan," released in 2014 when I first became entranced with the Magical Maids. Thx, Martin!
