Band-Maid's older, somewhat overlooked songs are going to be rediscovered for years to come. This will bring a continuous flow of new fans into their fold. Some of these tunes are heavy, hard punk rock adding a new depth of artistry to the Maids many fans didn't know they had. Of course, for Maidiacs, they always knew about these bitchin tunes long ago and still listen to them all the time. Thx, Ords!

One of my all Time Favorit Songs from Band Maid .
My very first song I heard by them I heard early 2017 .
A tragically lesser known BAND-MAID song thst is one of my All-time favorites!
They really nailed that cover too, especially the vocals and the guitar solo.

There is also a guy Alexej Bagrintsev, he has covered a number of Band Maid songs on his cello. He does 3-5 parts overlapped to cover all instruments in the songs and 1 part for Saiki's voice. Very cool stuff, check out his YT channel. You haven't checked out the Maids alter-ego band yet, Band Maiko.

New Beginning is on my car's CD player now and I always listen to "Freezer", "Real Existence", "Arcadia Girl" and "Shake That" over and over whenever they come up. I know they're not written by the Maids, but damn, they play them well!
"Freezer" is the perfect mixtape for a road trip. You're right about the Motorhead reference with the unique Maid twist to the groove. They are so much fun to listen to and share with unsuspecting friends in your car. I wonder how many people have heard "Freezer" and said "Who the hell is this!?"
Freezer ALWAYS reminds me of the old arcade game Outrun. I don't know why, but that is the image I always get in my head everytime I hear it. It is also on EVERY one of my playlists. Even my relaxation playlists. It is one of the few songs that will either hype me up or calm down.
And on the cover, two of the Royalty of the cover community, Mieux and Nam are people you should also subscribe and follow as well.

This, Matchless Gum and Arcadia Girl were early fan favorites. And yes, lots of nods to Motorhead on this lp.
Puzzle is an MV of concert footage. It ROCKS! Puzzle was also a beautiful acoustic with just Kanami and Saiki. An idea for another two-fer. Same with Sayonakidori. It's a song Miku wrote. Live then acoustic, (the acoustic has some MISA Magic in it)

This song is the best twin vocal showcase. Miku's cute yet punchy punk vocal and Saiki's cool vibrato leave the irresistible aftertaste.

I worry a bit that you're doing so many deep cuts for Band-Maid before you've really heard a lot of their big hits. But I love all of their deep cuts too - Freezer, Turn Me On, Take Me Higher, Moratorium, Shake That, all great hard rockers. I've seen quite a few Band Maid Community covers, they're all good that I've seen. (There are also covers by young bands out there that are pretty good.) But it's especially fun when it's a cover of a song like this that was never a single and wasn't played live a whole lot, but is still a real banger.
Like Justin Hawkins said "self-indulgent in the verses but super trad choruses"

I'm starting to appreciate the older material more and more. I always thought that it was good before, but now I tend to prefer it- not really loving some of the new material so much. The two ladies are often on Band-Maid fan covers, but the other musicians vary. The fans are the best out there.
