This is awesome!!! You're the 1st RUclipsr to post a video about this. I've been debating on getting a " Super Console X Max, but this seems like a great alternative!! Thanks my friend 👍
Thank you! I wish I could have been the first, but I tried consolidating everything I learned from others and on my own in one video. Sega CD by far was a huge challenge but it’s so awesome to be able to play those!
I got the Super Console X Pro and pac man arcade 1 up .. the Super Console X Pro micro SD card got corrupted can't add or save old and new games. I got this for the holidays last year my mom got it 15 bucks new .. I came back to check out this video again Thank Zoltan the *CD Mage* worked like a charm. Sega CD takes up way to much room but this video 100% helped alot..
Thumbs up, I appreciate your work, it's very informative! I'm pleased with my Pacman version; my flash card game additions however for an upgrade, I've been searching for a compatible arcade joystick for my console. PXN or Mayflash may work but your forced to connect an X-BOX controller which I find disappointing. Any arcade stick research done on these consoles, perhaps some recommendations?
That’s something i regret not testing (an alternative joystick) but from what I have seen.. others playing around with it … if it has USB it has a sporting chance. May not be worth the risk if your getting an expensive arcade joystick though. Sorry I’m not much help here!
Hi im trying to use MAME arcade game roms on 1up couchcade - i formatted sd card, created game folder, console just freezes up when i have sd card in - any advice?
yeah got 1 of these last year for the holidays think it most generous with the emulators too bad there no Mame but for a simply Plug & Play/EMU worth it. like he said in the video Sega CD part is a real pain in the ash .. other people who review this didn't like the controller.. it really isn't a bad controller just sux they don't sell extra game controls is the only negative
@@RetroZoltan 64 is also too big. You should be using something between 8 & 32KB at the most. Some devices can be downright picky & require an exact cluster size to work right. Usually anything between the values I gave is fine though. Didn't you do any research on this prior? 64KB is just not a good idea. You're wasting a good chunk of storage space by doing that.
I try to do research as much as the next person but always a chance to miss stuff I guess. In this case 1up doesn’t even mention adding games, and def not cluster sizes. It was all RUclipsrs guesses at the time, cluster size was never a worry, just getting it to work was.
@@RetroZoltan ah ok, 🙏 thx cuz AT Games devices are fat32 so I'll do exFat for this 1up thank you that's a very important detail to start the 8 system emu ;)
U isn't for Universal.... It's for the U.S. BIOS. There is no such thing as a Universal BIOS unless it's a Hack. the U BIOS won't run Japanese or PAL games, only North American ones. You nee the BIOS that coresponds to the region of the game you're playing.
It’s funny I ALWAYS assumed it was universal but that makes no sense. If it was universal you wouldn’t need 3 bios. You are 100% right and I’m kind of embarrassed! Still, at least I recommend having all three anyway. Thanks for pointing that out!

Hmmmm … that’s something I don’t have yet. So it boots up fine without the SD?
Hi, Did you ever get this to work? Thanks in advance.

Howdy Howdy, friend. How are you doing? Just trying to help with the algorithm.
In good! Thanks for your support :)

I hope it helps!
I wonder can I do the same for the Atari Couchcade?
I dont believe so (very sadly). I have to grab someone’s and try sometime.
Does the original Star Wars Arcade work on this??
No, no arcade games emulated. Sorry! Unless if your aware of a port that runs on the systems I mentioned.
Do you know how to add them to a cabinet?
No.. I mean I could probably figure out. Does it take an SD card?
Lol why the heck did you use 128KB Cluster size for your format? That's WAY too big.
I’m not sure… I’m lazy and normally go with defaults but assume that that SHOULD have been 64?
