I want to hear what the trash talkers say. I believe that Aptera will deliver but a part of their story is the skepticism and I think a lot of it is valid. Aptera is trying to do more than just build a car, they're the first of the next generation of truly aerodynamic personal car and they're doing it with small, guerilla factories that can output 40 cars a day with two shifts in an abandoned Best Buy. I'm super excited about this and I don't want to miss any part of it, including the hatred.

Yeah, that's Scotty guy. He has better things to say about Tesla now. Even though he still against the electric hearing there, he likes electric now a little better. He said the quality is actually better now things. Visa haters are more amusing to me than anything. It's not gonna change my mind whatsoever about opera. In fact, as much as I know about cars. I'm betting on the positive side. I can't wait. The fuel mileage, the less maintenance. The money you save on gas pays for the car. Pretty much you can expect to pay a lot less than you would for any car brand new. The right to repair the ease of use the backup system if you have a bug. Or an update temporarily which always gets fixed in relator you can still manually just click some buttons and drive your car just like normal. I'm sure if there's any other issues we'll be able to get some updates. There should be very little issues anyways though.
The question is will Aptera ever get to mass production and be profitable? As Elon Musk said designing a car and making prototypes is easy, mass producing it is another whole level of difficulty. I am rooting for Aptera and may get one if they get to production, I am on the waiting list. I thought the same about Tesla, but when I actually looked more closely I decided against getting a Tesla. I was on the Cyber Truck waiting list but by the cost vs value wasn't acceptable so I canceled my order.
WE NEED TO RADICALLY RETHINK HOW WE PRODUCE AUTOMOBILES FROM TOP TO BOTTOM. IT MUST BE A WORLDWIDE ACCEPTENTANCE FOR THE NEW WAY OTHERWISE IT IS DOOMED TO FAIL. CREATE NEW JOBS.
Did they narrow it? Did they solve not being able to dodge potholes? Also it would be nice if it was just a one seater or tandem 2 seater and 5' wide instead.
Scotty Kilmer talks trash about anything that is more sophisticated than a Toyota Corolla. He doesn't like turbocharging, he definitely doesn't like EVs. In my opinion, he's just some old man who yells at the clouds.
I get it, people are tired of waiting. All talk and no production. Every time they get close to a production date they make another change to the vehicle and push it out another year or two. They've been doing it since 2005. 2006 production was to begin in 2007. By 2009 Steve and Chris were doing demo's and saying they'd be in production by the end of the year, you can hear Steve Fambro say it himself, search RUclips '2009 studio 360 aptera'. More recently in August or September 2022 they revealed the Gamma and said the engineering on Delta would be completed by the end of November but when November came they revealed a complete redesign of the body materials they'd been promoting since 2005. I have to say that since its been almost 20 years now and still all they have is a handfull of prototypes and some computer images then they really must not want to build these vehicles. I mean, c'mon, 20 years?!? If they wanted to build vehicles they would already be building vehicles.
A couple of show models and a bunch of 3D renderings does not make a car company. Has Aptera made a statement that the are cranking up production and fulfilling pre-orders? ALSO OF NOTE > Per Aptera's website looks like they are very unknown as they still have 200 slots left on pre-orders. BOTH Tesla sold out with an extensive backlog AND Ford's recent F-150 (rebranded) Lightning sold out of units with a backlog as well (both of which are despite excessive price hikes from announcement to production) as comparison to this company's (current as of this comment) vaporware that has not manifested yet.
Additional: If this is a Solar vehicle - why does it need to plug into Tesla's (or anyone's electric charging stations). Are their solar panels so inefficient that they can't convert enough solar energy to elctricity.
And my commentary has nothing to do with hate - you can cry if you want to seeing as how the theme of this video and thread is about "haters" and not really Aptera ... stop and think sh*t through for a second and it's all practical observation about essentially vaporwave that has yet to translate to full production. Too much vaporware in the modern era. Hype this up when the company is in full production mode and selling out of units witha backlog.
Without knowing anything about this cars or project (randomy was shown this video), I see a problem; It's a futuristic looking project. The downside is that they dend to sway from traditional working solutions and user interfaces. That makes it a problem, when people have problem using it. Just look at some teslas, can't even use the turning light with a stock, because it must look futuristic. A turning light should be easily accessible, not that you have to look for it to find it. Things like these makes problems, not solutions.
Aptera will take Tesla out of business. I had to get a Tesla waiting for my Aptera. But, I'm still excited about my Aptera. I have never been excited about a new car before. And I love my lexus ct200.
I used to follow Kilmer but he's on such a ev hate campaign I unfollowed him. His job depends on ice cars so it's no surprise. They feel threatened because their manhood is being taken away from them
No Scotty Kilmer still openly despises Tesla, that was just him giving him early judgement of the car. Even in it he stated he hate the screens, the lack of stocks, etc. Plus quite literally every video he makes he makes it pretty clear he doesn't believe EVs are the future and they're just a fad. I'll be honest, he isn't entirely wrong on that last part. I think it's very clear many people who have basically no right judging cars came out of the woodworks just to look at EVs. Just look at MKBHD who's most notable series was comparing the cameras on cellphones. He's a tech influencer, why are you taking buying advice on one of the most expensive things you own from someone who buys luxury products to break them and move on in a month? It's like how you'll see them do the month reviews of phones where they actually have two a time. EVs right now are the big fad right now and it's fairly clear it is being carried by that bandwagon. EVs can be cheaper than gas, but those aren't the models people are buying, they can be better for the environment, so why are they mainly making pickups and SUVs, and they can be really technological, but so can any car. I really think the movement is being bumped for the moment as the arguments people are making for them aren't what they're targeting cars for, instead they're buying the "coolest" or "fanciest". I really don't know how sustainable that is and it already seems to be peaking.
I love the idea of Aptera, but in all fairness there is no product. It is fair to say they are still in development, but the company is producing nothing and has made some pretty outrageous gaffes when the spotlight was on them. My hope is that Apetera produces a vehicle people can purchase this year. I don't have a lot fo confidence in their management, but the concept is good.
Steve and Chris was going to 3D print the Aptera’s themselves however they couldn’t with all the orders they received . They were expecting maybe 2000 orders but got 20,000 , and they couldn’t produce that many , so they had to do something else , enter the CPC . With the CPC’s help they can now mass produce the Aptera in a short period of time . 😎
@@freepower1082 The head winds seem pretty strong, first of all the Public is not usually big on 3 wheelers, then there is the competition. Not to mention they are not well funded, plus the gaffes. Very confusing video. When you ask the question (comparing Aptera to Tesla), "Is Aptera going to be safe from these types of gremlins that's going to happen in their factories?" Then you answer, "Of course not, they're going to have issues with some of their vehicles as well." (again comparing Tesla to Aptera) After that you say, "It's good to know Aptera is working through all of those demons before they happen." So which is it? Aptera will have problems or not? This is why it's confusing. When you make a video, don't act like you are being critical and right after that do an about face on the same subject. Then when you say, "I believe Aptera will be a 100% a go." That makes sense because it's just an opinion. Yet your previous statement goes against that.

NoorElahi , how’s it going buddy ! Aptera is fixing all the bugs before they put their product on the road ! You are right , the production process is going to be top notch ! they will be able to put factories anywhere in the world with no problem , that’s what I love ! 😎
Since 2019 they did not deliver 40 cars a day, nor 40 cars at all, not even one single car, and not even a single Aptera motorcycle. They do nothing else than empty promises.
@@vic321344 I think you're conflating empty promises with slow delivery. Time will tell and I'm having fun watching the drama play out. Still, if they go into production I have $35k put aside to buy mine.
I like tesla. Bit I also like aptera. And if the vehicle could actually hold 2 wheelchairs, I'd love one. But I fully support there vehicle.
You are doing good 👍🏼
I can see by the style it probably will be one of the first production flying cars. 😮....
I'm buying the one with the off road package when they come out.
That’s one I would love to have , however I will be waiting long enough for the 600 mile version 😩
@@freepower1082 They are showing a 1000 mile version also.
The vehicle does not exist. And the Off Road package does not exist. Good luck buying both.
@@vic321344 That's weird because i drove one. Maybe you don't exist?
@@krodkrod8132 - The Elio exists too. I sat in one twice and even seen the CEO drive one. That was back in 2010 and 2015 but it does exist. Can I buy one? Nope. Is it in production? Nope.
Aptera is going to be very Big , gas and electricity prices are going up , Solar is the best way to go ! 😎
I didn't realize his reaction originated with Scotty Kilmer. It now make sense as Scotty Kilmer liked Aptera.
I wonder if Aptera could use their car design for an EVTOL?
Very good question . 😎
WE NEED TO RADICALLY RETHINK HOW WE PRODUCE AUTOMOBILES FROM TOP TO BOTTOM. IT MUST BE A WORLDWIDE ACCEPTENTANCE FOR THE NEW WAY OTHERWISE IT IS DOOMED TO FAIL. CREATE NEW JOBS.
So everybody in the world has to change so Aptera will work? Nice socialist thought. At the moment Aptera is doomed to fail.
So, the automotive industry will fail? I guess we then just use public transportation.
@@vic321344You have been falling ever since you created your account.
You definitely need a history lesson on Aptera!
Oh boy
All bashers of things are idiots.
Just don't get your hopes up about the car. I am an Aptera fan, but a lot of start up companies can be a scam.
I'm glad he didn't mention aussie ideas man, he's a troll, begging for attention. He comments soo much on Aptera videos he's obsessed.
I hope i can buy it for Germany
Talking truth is not trash
Jesus had haters!!!!!!
And a lot of them . 😩
The reason he hates Aptera so much, is because he found out they won't be coming with those little triangle windows they had in the 1950's
I like that . 😂
I used to follow Kilmer but he's on such a ev hate campaign I unfollowed him. His job depends on ice cars so it's no surprise. They feel threatened because their manhood is being taken away from them
Why isn’t it made in the USA
Not trash talkers, skeptics, not likely to be built or profitable
Feeding the tolls by sending people to watch their junk and quoting them isnt helpful.

It is a small vehicle when the USA are known for their big vehicles. Can you see this next to a Cybertruck, what an interesting picture that would make. I hope Aptera does well, because the concept is so on point. It is pretty pricy for what you get.
@@tonespeaksthe efficiency and ability to charge off the sun is something nobody else can do! The vehicle is built with a smaller amount of parts that nobody else can match! A complete carbon fiber body which will make every body produced with quality that most manufacturers can only dream about! I would say that is a very good value for the money! On Out of Spec, they lined up the Cybertruck between the Rivian and Ford Lightning. The Cybertruck is not as big as you think! A lot smaller then the Ford Lightning and only a little bigger then the Rivian!
@@freepower1082 They did not produce even 2000 vehicles. Not even one vehiocle that they could sell. Since 2019.

Well, l don't know what Aptera did in 2023 but it wasn't building cars.
This hater has the voice of a person who should be selling Oxy Clean on TV.
What if they go on Shark Tank?
I don’t think they need Shark Tank . 😎
Shark tank makes a habit of asking for too large a % in return. They have done better than what Shark Tank can provide with crowd funding.
They are Sharks and will take a large portion of the company. I love it when those seeking money reject all the VCs on the SharkTank and then go make it on their own.
Very confusing video. When you ask the question (comparing Aptera to Tesla), "Is Aptera going to be safe from these types of gremlins that's going to happen in their factories?"
Then you answer, "Of course not, they're going to have issues with some of their vehicles as well." (again comparing Tesla to Aptera)
After that you say, "It's good to know Aptera is working through all of those demons before they happen."
So which is it? Aptera will have problems or not? This is why it's confusing. When you make a video, don't act like you are being critical and right after that do an about face on the same subject.
Then when you say, "I believe Aptera will be a 100% a go." That makes sense because it's just an opinion. Yet your previous statement goes against that.
I hate Elon
Well he did popularize the electric car . 😎
@@freepower1082Yeah, but just because he did one good thing doesn't mean that you can't hate him, especially when he has done some very bad things such as cutting off Ukraine from Starlink without warning while battles were raging because he didn't like something someone in Washington said or did
