I'm pretty sure that the physical mirrors are currently mandated by law. But hopefully that will change as people become comfortable with the added visibility and safety that cameras and screens can provide. I always enjoy your enthusiasm, and I am also excited about the Production Intent Apteras being shown of at CES in January!

The gap between the door and the side panels looks much tighter when closed in the new models behind him than the earlier version.

The PIs are also being used to plan the production process efficiently as well as establishing the build manual and preparation for training staff and probably even for videos that will be part of their “right-to-repair” support. I don’t understand why people think doing something like this is done over night on a shoestring budget. Yes the money might sound like a lot but if this was easy and cheap I guess any lazy person would have done this before now.

Pi2 and PI3 are not even completely built within 5 months.

Seeing PI - 4 will be great but seeing the high speed test results would be much better. If the results don't match the theory, it doesn't matter how cool it looks. An understanding of why high speed testing is being delayed would be helpful. Per Steve's video, all of the parts for PI-2 have been bench tested, so what is the holdup?

I can't go to Las Vegas because I have a V.A. appointment that day. Health comes first, and VA appointments are hard to get. If I put it off it will take months to reschedule. *SIGH* I'd love to go see it.

Aptera needs to do another updated video with the PI3 or 4 showing how much can fit in the back.

My biggest disappointment is the utter failure of the US Capitol deal. I really expected that deal to quickly bring in the 60 million they needed. Hopefully a completed PI build and the new crowd funding campaign will get them the money they so desperately need.

Screw Newsom. Anything he does is shady. Yes you may get tax credits on purchase but at the end of the day money isnt free. Californians are paying for this and its already expensive to live there. CARB decided to raise the gas tax in California in turn everything else will go up. CARB currently is a joke and just seeks to take as much as they can from tax payers.
