Relative newcomer here, with no previous idea about your education and psych backgrounds - that's awesome!! Makes me really happy to hear you're helping out special needs kids, as well as gifted ones, sounds like.
The help I got from individual teachers, including one who I found out decades later had an ADHD child of her own, made a world of difference for me back in the day, and almost certainly helped prepare me to be able to take advantage of the gifted programs later on. No clue how formally I was supported, but I'm glad folks like you exist for those who need ya.

Why do furries feel upset when someone calls them cute? I would feel flattered if someone said my fursona or fursuits was cute, but why don't furries like it?
Well.... some say Calling a Furry "cute" can feel like they are being treated as a child or a pet, ignoring their agency and mature identity within the fandom. I guess that make sense why right?
