Regardless all of these reviewed are such gorgeous and distinct designs, insects (and bugs in general) are SUPER underrated species of furry/anthro.
Even I’m working on studies atm so I can make more bug OCs myself 😭

My favorite kind of fursonas! They’re so creative and fun! I myself have two fursonas and they are a Woolly Aphid and a Purple Sea Urchin

8:06 not sure if you got the answer already but it's based on an Antlion. Antlions aren't ants or lions they're an entirely separate insect that look like dragonflies atleast when they're adults. They spend most of life as larva which is how they're known for looking. If you wanna know how they look, search it up.

That lion-bug fursona (that you thought was a mantis for some reason) is actually a antlion. They nest in the sand and trap other insects that walk close to their hole to eat them. Antlions are only larvae.

I also have an anthro slug character! They have arms and hair made of slime. They love coffee and is generally chill and go-with-the-flow. :>

Really need to make a bug character I recently made a character who is based off a owl butterfly wich is supposed to be a bit of a cryptic type characters because owl butterfly genuinely look really creepy up close and they look a bit like angels with the eyes on their wing. She isn't really a fursona since she is an oc.

Hey I just want to let you know this isn't true, they actually use the thick layer of fur under their feet for shock absorption instead of paw pads, I mean yeah they have paw separations but they don't have paw pads, no lagomorphs do, if you see "pads" under a rabbits fur it likely means they are loosing fur and can be an indication of infection! So basically very few/not many mamals have paw pads and rabbits compensate needing something to absorb impact when running so with very thick fur under their paws which do the same thing as paw pads would! The most common animals you'll see with paw pads are feliforms and caniforms like lions, bears, wolves, dogs, coyotes, ect.

My animal science classroom has a rabbit which I've handled frequently + clipped her claws and she 100% doesn't have pads. It's all just dense fur! Which is why they don't have good traction on super smooth floors
@@SmoothBrainStuff I raised rabbits for FFA and had a pet rabbit(I'm actually scared of rabbits ngl lol) I don't have any of them anymore but I handled them alot and yeah no paws but honestly I don't think there is any problems giving characters of a creature that don't have paw pads, fur, teeth, and/or many other physical features those things is a problem, I think it can be fun and unique and also add personality to the character! So basically feel free to give your bunnies paw pads just know that's not what actually rabbits feet look like! /gen /pos
