Ebay should be doing a better job at appeals.
Ebay should be doing a better job at removing search manipulation and misleading titles. Like calling GrimGuard prints "W40k krieg" and leaving it up to the buyer to figure it out
This happened to me while trying to sell official GW Blood Bowl models that I painted myself. Got and email from Ebay stating that Brandshield deemed the GW model that I painted was a counterfit. I've sold several painted models before without issues. Now I feel I cant sell my comission painted models anymore. Totally sucks
This solidified me not buying directly from gw
I wish they would go after the 3D printing people there's one group who labels all their stuff 40k no matter what.
GW wouldn't need to do this if they didn't keep raising their prices, and making stupid decisions with lore and stupid looking models, Lumineth and new Cities of Sigmar look stupid, the CoS have helmets that look like bells, they look like bell ends, bring back old style empire looks, remember the guy from the cover of the first Cities of Sigmar book, the greatsword guy, how cool was he, now look at the bland bell ends they have now, the look more like the Halflings from Warhammer Fantasy. Also the new Liberators have those dumb big nose looking helmets, and the Prosecutors helmets look more like chaos helmets, and not even cool ones, the previous ones looked way better, these don't even match the army.

GW keeps pushing the WARHAMMER hobby and shouldn't be surprised that people start using it as a generic term for tabletop wargaming.
AI doesn’t need to be accurate here. If they nuke any miniature related listing it’s technically good for GW. It doesn’t matter if they get it wrong, there are virtually no consequences here.
There are tons of FLGS that sell on Ebay. If they can't offload excess stock then they won't order as much.

1. eBay suxs, they should have some kind of system where if you type cheap warhammer, it should suggest stuff that isn’t warhammer that is cheap and it should suggest stuff that is warhammer but not cheap
2. GWs should be nice and encourage hobby growth, that means not cutting sellers out of good business because eBay is bad at labeling products
But what am I supposed to expect from the company that sells $65+ for 10 troop models in a game that requires 3 troop units
$70 for 3 Meganobz in a box. New detachment encourages you to run 3 units of 5
They been doing this shit for years, but to employ legion of AI to harass sellers is even more GW than usual ( GW is synonymous with being an overbearing Asshole of a company )
I used to sell Confrontation painted back in the day and GW would have them pulled for just mentioning any cross play or use as a Warhammer 40k stand in even just in the description, not the title or category

This is the whole reason why they did that age of sigmar thing so they can license specific names and you couldn't make miniatures with that name!
It would be kinda embarrassing to label my 3d sculpts as Orruck or Aelf. Not that big of a loss.😂

Good maybe now when I search for used GW I won't be inundated with bad quality 3d reprinters.
Lets be real its not the authentic GW merchandise ebay sellers that are affected, it's the people abusing the search engine and 3d print sellers. If someone wants crisis protocol on etsy or ebay then they'll search for it.
In the USA it is perfectly legal to use a trademark name to sell something as long as the item is actually the trademarked product, selling 3d prints but putting 'for Warhammer' in the title isn't covered.
I'm all for complaining about GW overreach, but at least make it something valid not this trash
Hey, GW pushes the "Warhammer Hobby". They want Warhammer to be like Kleenex. The thing itself is associated only with their brand. They never, ever let it be called "Tabletop wargaming". This is the consequences of that. If people start associating Warhammer and Tabletop Wargaming as the same thing, then sellers have to start calling things Warhammer for people to find it

Warhammer isn't some generic game name. I don't pull out my Marvel miniatures to play Warhammer. Nobody calls Star Wars Legion, Warhammer: A Galaxy Far, Far Away.
But GW WANTS everything to be Warhammer. They don't call it "Tabletop gaming" with GW, everything is "The Warhammer Hobby". They have pushed it like they are trying to be like Kleenex, where the brand name becomes the entire genre. So, they have to deal with the results
But selling an authentic GW miniature is a legitimate thing to do! Of course you should tag a Warhammer mini as a Warhammer mini. They want to stop the proxy sales and will probably end up devaluing their creations even more. How will a Mordheim Carnival of Chaos ever be sought after if it disappears from the global consciousness?
Putting it into a list for review would break their entire model of ‘the AI does all the work and we just get paid’

GW is a joke. Have to order imperialis thunderhawks 1 at a time. Costing me a thunderhawk almost in shipping. They didnt even ship one of my orders because they over sold some of the items. Found out two weeks later when i called them asking wtf. They couldnt even give me an estimate on when i could expect the product they happily accepted my money for. But hey cool to learn they do their manufacturing in the uk, something ive known for years already. When i emailed them asking why they hate their customers. The email got blocked because the words i used could hurt their employees feelings. This is all after they screwed me over. Im sure if we asked them to give us product and wed pay them at some point in the future when someone feels like getting around to it, theyd lose their minds. Honestly GW needs to go under for this hobby to do anything or grow. Its a trash company.
