#pokemon #fakemon #stem
Is Stemian Wooper also out of the question for your fangame? Cause its design is so distinct from the real thing that it could pass as just its own creature
I agree, since the design is very stylized as well. Perhaps just a name change?
It will need a slight design modification and a name change
A very big design change I can think of would be giving the Stemian form arms, then the two wouldn't be recognizable as the same at all
Reminder it isn't a fan game for pokemon it is a stem based independent creature collector independent of pokemon now and OP'S passion project! ❤
Maybe a little tweaking, but other than they’d look like their own thing
YOOO THE BALTOY LINE I LOVE THOSE GUYS
Well if you wanted to do a two stage line with the golden ratio you could also reference the silver ratio? It’s used a lot in Japanese architecture
Could be a branching evolution resulting from using the Metal Coat
@@dracothewarrior4316 that wouldn't exist in this project though
I was thinking the initial stage could be based on the Fibonacci sequence, and evolve into a creature based on the Golden ratio, as the Fibonacci sequence evolves into/approximates the golden ratio the further it's expanded on, as explained in this video.
the animation on tippedol surprised me so much omg.... its such a small little detail but it added so much personality imo
A creature based on Nanoputian, perhaps?
Also, fun fact: Paldean Wooper, the poison fish pokemon, was unveiled exactly a week before the 2022 Oder environmental disaster made the news, which involved mountains of dead, poisoned fish all over the river, with research still ongoing on what exactly happened.
Paldean Wooper. An omen.
I really want to see a golden ratio Pokemon :)
please dont make it tusk please dont make it tusk
please make it tusk please make it tusk
@@dianbaa make it a donphan evo for the pun
Please give it a move called ball breaker
Perfect Tusk? Fibophanny?
For new golden ratio Mon you can have it be a split evo from a baby form that can either go into golden ratio or the silver ratio
Something I've noticed from pokemon is that the evolutions made whith an evolution stone are always the last form in the evolution line. Thats sad because it means that Sunflora will probably never have the evolution it desperately needs
I mean, that was true for Porygon 2, when item evos were always the last stage, but then it was allowed to evolve into Z. There's always got to be a first exception to the rules, and a mon like Sunflora could definitely get that.
4:59 *inserts Tusk*
JoJo fans would understand that :3
Sunflora actually has one really strong niche. It absolutely annihilates the 2nd and 3rd gyms in Emerald Kaizo through setting up with growth!
It can apparently also be used to completely total the elite four in gold and silver entirely on its own
I've seen like two videos in this series and you're my favourite Not-A-Pokémon Professor :D I can't wait to binge the whole STEMA series now
i love the design of tippedol so much it's amazing
As a sailor it was kinda cool seeing you talk about hydro foils
If you do make a design based on the Golden Ratio, I think it should come with a related design based on the Silver Ratio (1 + √2). I learned of that via Persona 5 Royal, and Gold and Silver tend to go together.
with how departed from the originals that the last 2 are, they could probably just be repainted and have their faces changed and manage get away with being used in the game as a completely original thing maybe with some light name change to remove them further
though tippedol does feel like it should have a prevolution that's a regular non flipping spinning top
I really think the designs could be usable with a little modification. Actually, the top seems completely unique.
I love this channel. Keep up the amazing work. You seem so chill.
I love Sunorum! Would definitely use that if it were real. I like the subtle reference to phi on its face, details like that go a long way. You’ve got some great designs man! Thanks for combining the worlds of STEM and Pokémon!
I'd love to see how you'd make these designs completely original for your project!
It sucks that they can’t be used because they’re super cool
A golden ratio pokemon? What a great idea! It could have 4 members of its evolution line which while yes is irregular fits perfectly for the golden ratio... also instead of them having different names they would all be similar, you know kinda like how Porygon evolves into Porygon 2. I would call it Tusk... and it would evolve into Tusk Act 2, and so on and so forth all the way to Tusk Act 4... which is the strongest form and has a one hit KO move called Infinite Rotation. It is the strongest pokemon and also the bestest of them all.
Tippedol felt more like a Paradox mon connecting Claydol with Beheeyem tbh but I love it either way
I would love to see all of these designs get an episode where they all get reworked
The concept of Spin and Golden Ratio spoken in the same video? this can only be a JOJO REFERENCE!
I love your ideas and concepts, amazing video as always!
oh a new vid!
>This is Shortest Video
>Every Video is 10 Minutes minimum
OH YES!
One potential idea that could synergize well with the reversing top idea is one of those toys that doesn’t fall over even when you push it, or perhaps a variant of those Russian nesting dolls
4:58 Lesson 5 Thank you Gyro
Steel balls? The golden ratio? I feel like I've heard about this before...
bro i love them and the music but i love the wooper and its evolution form so much keep at it
PLEASE make a video on how you come up with the designs for these, I love your videos
With the golden ratio, one can achieve the perfect attack!
at 0:20 when you brought up the Unown it made me think of something I never thought of before. Despite Pokemon originating in Japan, they designed the Unown from the English Alphabet.
sailorain looks so goofy i love her
you could've made Tippedol's evolution method similar to Inkay's
THAT'S GENIUS
8:54 yes please!!
Sunorum with Good as Gold, it was right there. I raise my fist in anger
These videos keep me going
Favorite irl plants: lava cactus (cool but still underselling name), and colorado cheatgrass (also has evolved to benefit from fire).
Sailorain is my favourite. Thank-you
I really love the series and have got an idea if you like. Diglet just adds more of itself so a science variant of it could be based on factorials. I wish to see more mathematical creatures in Pokemon so why not create something on factorials.! Have you decided the name of your game and creatures yet?
love your videos
I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!!!!
Yesss I look forward to these
I love these
wow sailorain is looking good!
Maybe your new Tipee Top “Pokemon“ could be a pure Fighting type based around gymnastics? Or it could have rope arms with smaller top fists at the end, so the fists extend out whenever it spins, like the experiment where you spin a bucket of water, but it doesn't spill. Also, do you know what that force or theory is called, and are you doing a Pokemon on it already?
Tippedol looks weirdly similar to arcana Force XVII and i Love it
Golden ratio mon is a great idea
I think it would be really fun to see an original line based around Tippidol. Maybe have it be a branching line, with another evolution being based around a Gyroscope, with a gimmick of being unfazed by effects instead of flipping them like Contrary does.
Even if i'm just more biased towards Sunorum for being a sunflower, I think having any plant based off of Phyllotaxis/Parastichy would be fun. Ferns or Aloe come to mind too in terms of visual patterns.
Your explanations of the scientific concepts are my favorite part of the videos! I would love to see these concepts in your own game if they fit in
You could lean more into a green and gold combo on the shiny Masquerain variant.mthose are Australia’s national colors in sport
you should keep the tippedoll but make it a different name and maybe a prevo.
5:02 Steel Ball Run intensifies
Do you make your own music for these videos? I really like the background music and how it’s referencing motifs from pokemon!
so the golden ratio is the spin from steel ball run? neat
What about some type of mon that represents circuits? It’s a concept important in physics as well as practical stem uses?
You could also do a Portuguese manowar for the sail hydrofoil
Would a line based on rocket stages be cool??
please let me be friends with them. we will have so much fun together
4:59 ONG GOLDEN RATIO. IA THAT A JOJO REFERENCE?!?!!!?
I regret watching this at 7 in the morning 😂
could you came up with new evos to Swalot, Delcatty and Beartic?
I want you to create new types of the lake guardians with all the different Pokémon types
Hey, how do you draw your emoji esque artstyle!
Gee this guys smart😅😅
Can you teach me algebra 2 using pokemon designs, i might actually learn it this time
Yeah fam, use these concepts please.
ok I know I'm starting to sound like a broken record but I'm wondering if this game that your making is going to be on steam because if it is then I'll play even if it cost money I will pay to play this game and also the stema Pokemon are good
You should have tippitop stance change
I thought the whole lift came from air having to move faster in order to meet up at the same spot on both ends of the cross section at the same time
What about the golden ratio mon having Good As Gold instead of serene grace
F Sequence first evo then evolves to Golden Ratio?
4:40 Why not regional Baltoy?
Wait, so why can't you use existing pokemon?
Can we get a rubber ducky debugging ‘mon?
Wait wait wait wait. The sentence below the image at 2:09 are in italian. Are you an Italian????
Is that a joJo's reference
love the vids, but u gotta get a pop filter or at least record with the mic diagonal to you rather than directly in front of you.
You've got a lot of plosives in your audio, practically every p, t or b is pushing air into the mic and it's lowering the quality of your vids auditorily.
Can tell you put a lot of work into the editing and research, and of course your art, and I'd hate for your audio to bring down your videos as a whole
Why not call it sunflorum?
Pokemon should try harder top make regional variants more unique
Uzumaki 8:19
Last.
Gamefreak should hire you
I have heard beyblade XD
4:01
You missed out on giving Sunorum good as gold as one of it's abilities.
Sussy
E
I NEEED the sunflora evo, PLEASE
sunflora is just miserable, it's overwhelmingly bad stats and underveloped sunflower design makes it look like is begging for an evolution, but it just keps being ignored for 7 gens non-stop
a
I keep saying it, just tweak the name and design a bit and they can just be random single stages, don't let your paranoia of a C&D get you down, subjectively is going balls to the wall by making a fan game.
100th
THIS IS TO COMPLICATED FOR A KIDS GAME. SUNORUM ISN’T METALLIC AT ALL.
Well if you wanted to do a two stage line with the golden ratio you could also reference the silver ratio? It’s used a lot in Japanese architecture
