I really wish Sin was more popular. In my opinon, Its one of the best off of Core. Amazing drum beat,Smooth bass and mesmorizing guitar. Its my personal favourite off the album, and I like it way more than creep or plush.
Sin and Piece of Pie are my two favorite STP songs ever. I kinda like that they're considered "B" cuts though. It makes em cooler and goes to show what a great album Core is.
STP was no doubt my favorite band from the 90s. Great songs is what makes them so awesome. Had they come out back in the 70s, they would have no problem hanging with the best bands of that era either.
George Harrison , don't forget Chris Robinson...I saw the Black Crowes 9 times in their heyday & the CRB on the 4th of July...Chris can sing his ass off
shanon hoone didn't like Scott Weiland at all, (for no apparent reason)...at one show the Blind melon and STP were at together, Hoone went in the STP dressing room and shat on their snack tray. (according to another musician that was there).. class act.
@@tnbelle68 especially when so many icons from the 80s and 70s are still going strong. Even 60s still has quite a few still going, McCartney, the stones, bob dylan etc
I bought "Core" about a year ago. This is my favorite song, even with "sex type thing", "plush", "wicked garden", and "creep" on the album. Core has to be among the greatest rock albums ever. EVERY SINGLE song on the record is killer. STP doesn't quite get the props they deserve as the very best of 90s alt/grunge bands, along with the likes of Nirvana and AIC. But STP still dominates alt rock radio airplay to this day, perhaps more than any other band from the 90s or the current era.
See them in London (Shangri La... tour) and will never forget it, having loved them since I see them perform 'Vasoline' on Letterman. See Velvet Revolver twice too. I used to have a cork board in my bedroom, that i would pin magazine cut outs of Scott. Purple is my fav album of all time.
This is/was the best version of No Memory / Sin I have ever seen...Dean has the Distortion cranked up unlike these days... So much Energy put into this performance, gives me goosebumps every time I watch it...RIP Scott, Live on STP!!1
I wish dean still wrote stuff like this. They are so boring now. I honestly thught it was a huge mistake to hire a guy who is a blatant scott rip off. Noone can compare so why try?
We remember you on today Scott, I'm so sorry you couldn't conquer your demons, we love you Scott, bless you. 1967-2015. I will see you again Grandma, I keep you in my heart and memories forever, bless you. 1937-2014.
Best FUCKING Rock Group of All Time!!! Hands Down. He absolutely Crushes this! Thank you for your unique and dominating endless Riffs. You will always be the Band I turn too in my times of Trials and Darkness. Been listening to Sin for two straight weeks. keep going back and forth between the One off CORE and the Live Toronto clip from 93.
Hx777 don’t bring it up, you’ll make me fall into a depression just thinking about how much we all lost when music started being overproduced and soulless. Damn do I miss the good old days when rock music had some balls and integrity.
I saw STP live when they did a double bill with Red Hot Chili Peppers. Wasn't even a contest. STP blew them out of the water. Such a fantastic live band.
Well it certainly helps that Weiland can sing live. Hits all his notes. Keidus cannot sing to save his life. Same with Ian Astbury from The Cult. the worst offender of the cannot sing live club is, you guessed it, David Lee Roth. Roth and Keidus are studio singers. meaning they can only hit notes when processed through a post production sound board.
This song messed up all other songs for me as a 12-13 year old when I finally got my hands on the tape. It’s so pretty, dark, dirty, and refreshing all at the same time. STP will always be one of my favs. And Scott is my favorite front man ever.
I bought Core in 92 or very early 93. I was 10 years old and the bug had bitten me sometime a year or so before when my sister had recorded the three big Nirvana single off of Casey Casum’s top 40 with her tower stereo. I got a Walkman CD player for that next birthday and started asking my family and friends for paying chores to help fund my addiction. Core was a particular record, it spent a lot of time on past midnight rotation through the headphones in those days. The moody ness of this song is a perfect example why. Miss you Scott.
were still listening Scott!! And will be till the day we all die as well.We are Your Forever Fans!!! You always will be the Greatest thing about STP. Pure Genius that never Got All the Respect that was due You!! RIP my Friend!!
Wow....one of my favorite sons “Sin”......never ever realized Scott was wearing a t-shirt with the chucking Devil on it! 👹 Kind of a sad precursor of his final call due to drugs.....really sad....what a talented man! 👍😢😞
My favorite song from my favorite band of the 90s. Was able to see them twice, once in the 90s and again in 2011. Always put on a great show. RIP Scott.
The last part of the guitar solo is my favorite departure of live vs album rendition in all of music. Sounds like a fucking train is crashing through the solo into the outro. So sick.
I've seen them twice, once in '93 and last year and they only get better. I was front row at the first one and got to see them up close. No band matches their energy and the way he moves on stage is so unique. Great band. Period.
I miss music like this. Music written back when rock & roll had some fucking balls and an unquestionable amount of integrity. Nowadays all we have are shitty, soulless SoundCloud rappers... god I wanna slit my wrists.
"Still shackled to the Shadow..." one of the most hauntingly powerful lyrics in rock history. YOU KNOW, ALMOST LIKE A WHALE SHACKLED TO A WHARF...OR IN THE LIVING STREAM OF THINGS, A WHALE TO A PIRANHA...
Fucking amazing!! So interesting the transformation of Scott Weiland from this grunge dude to what he becomes on the later albums. Thru it all, I LOVE the power and rhythms of all their music and versions. STP! STP! STP!
God damn, how i miss the old grunge days. STP was one of the greatest of the 90's era. My favorite STP song is Where The River Goes, but Sin still kicks some ass. Love how No Memory just opens for the song as the intro.
I saw stp every time they came close to Tulsa . Scott laid it all out there. Each and every show. Be a long time for another rocker like him !! Great voice
I always thought it was wild that AIC's Dirt and STP's Core were both released on September 29, 1992. What a day for awesome music!
Wow really? That’s crazy
September 24th 1991 is memorable for rhcp bssm and nirvana nevermind coming out the same day.
Really? That's so cool two of my favorite albums. Rock on yall
Really cool and probably not even a coincidence exactly..those record execs knew what was dropping
I really wish Sin was more popular. In my opinon, Its one of the best off of Core. Amazing drum beat,Smooth bass and mesmorizing guitar. Its my personal favourite off the album, and I like it way more than creep or plush.
CaptainTaco Thank god I got to see them preform live even with Chester back in April 2015. One of the great rock songs ever!
Brian Krol Agreed about the guitar. The solos sound like Satan's train coming down the tracks and pulling into the station.
My favorite song of theirs.
yep my favorite song and a great album for a long drive
Sin and Piece of Pie are my two favorite STP songs ever. I kinda like that they're considered "B" cuts though. It makes em cooler and goes to show what a great album Core is.
Now really, Stone Temple Pilots is one of the most underrated bands ever.
Literally just head banged the glasses off my face when the song kicked in
This tune is a monster. Listen to those riffs. WHOOOOW!
STP was no doubt my favorite band from the 90s. Great songs is what makes them so awesome. Had they come out back in the 70s, they would have no problem hanging with the best bands of that era either.
Layne Staley, Shannon hoone, scott weiland, chris Cornell. RIP some of the best 90's singers!
George Harrison , don't forget Chris Robinson...I saw the Black Crowes 9 times in their heyday & the CRB on the 4th of July...Chris can sing his ass off
My generation. It is so depressing to know they are mostly all passed. :(

Thank God we still have Jens Kidman!
Scott's dancing was awesome!
Dang Scott is so cool the way he thrashes his body around on stage.
Ford logo on the bass drum ... sick !!!!

stp was severely underrated weiland is my favorite musician ever
Late to the party I see
13 years later, but my fav is Crackerman. It's very hype and it's a great show opener.
STP wiped its ass with Nerdvana!
Especially sin demo of the deluxe edition and the sublime where the river goes epic Deleo guitar 🎸riffs
Brings tears to my eyes. Another 90s band I'll never see live. So talented x
You can see their tribute band. It's still called Stone Temple Pilots.
Saw STP 3 times with Scott and once with Chester. Saw Velvet Revolver on both of their tours. Scott is greatly missed.
Same here
This is/was the best version of No Memory / Sin I have ever seen...Dean has the Distortion cranked up unlike these days...

I will see you again Grandma, I keep you in my heart and memories forever, bless you. 1937-2014.
YES he does, this is my favorite Weiland look. He could sing great then and he had meat on his bones. Pure talent mmm
Total stud. I would have been right after him if we grew up together. Lol
This is just the start of the scott weiland jig...gotta love his dancing..
100% the best of the 90's .. If you don't know this one you are not a STP fan!
You'll be missed Scott! You were one of a kind! RIP
+grace palomino The Best !!
flashy5150 ever
🙁 there will never be another like him
He's my dream brother... tu me manques
One of the greatest frontmen ever.
RUclips kicks ass! 10 year's ago, I would have never thought I would ever see this footage!!!
Kids, this is how it's done.

You be right 123! This is real world bad ass rocking .. so missed!
Kids today are scared of rock music. It's racist lol
'70s and 90's were the PINNACLE of modern music. DMT, FNM, STP, AIC... Real Music doesnt even exist anymore in the west...
Everywhere,west,central,east ,real music is where???!!
@@Meterman13 well Greek music USED to be great, so...... Touché!
they were so aggressive. Scotty we all still love you. I hope that you are finally able to rest.RJE
Down you gooooooooo, Suffer long.
Down you gooooooooo, Sin make me strong!
Even after all these years, it's such an epic song.
I saw STP live when they did a double bill with Red Hot Chili Peppers. Wasn't even a contest. STP blew them out of the water. Such a fantastic live band.

So glad I found this. This man was gorgeous. He could have stolen my sin any day.
You dirty dirty groovy girl... I think I love you!.. have a good life
the guitar into solo before sin starts gives me chills. RIP Scott
Henry it's called no memory, was the instrumental before sin on the album core

That Devil shirt and this song go together too well...killer performance all around 🔫
"Still Shackled to the Shadow..."
This is the Scott wich i'll remember...rip brother
And he has the best voice ever, I saw them in Grand Rapids, MI in June 2010 and saw them in Lansing, MI in July 2009. They are so good!
I agree best vocalist ever and my favorite musician
Lucky. I live in Grand Rapids. Always wish I coulda seen STP AIC and Nirvana but now all I have are these vids
Word Up... Miss Staley and Weiland...
This is an absolutely spectacular performance of these tracks. Scott is great here.
Weiland. Legend. Period. Respect.
My favorite singer dude after morrison, followed by staley. RIP
Scott was second Staley was number one
yep
James Crawley Scott was a better songwriter and overall more versatile than Staley ever was. I love em both, but Weiland was on a different level
Both were great. Scott was more complete, because he lived longer.
weiland is the best
were still listening Scott!! And will be till the day we all die as well.We are Your Forever Fans!!! You always will be the Greatest thing about STP. Pure Genius that never Got All the Respect that was due You!! RIP my Friend!!
love the no memory intro into sin
... '93? ... I wasn't even home from the "war" yet... But I knew of this band, and Scott, and it was good. . .
What a band you were with Scott, guys...

Since 15yrs old in 92.
STILL SHACKLED TO THE SHADOW...
My favorite song from my favorite band of the 90s. Was able to see them twice, once in the 90s and again in 2011. Always put on a great show. RIP Scott.

The second chorus on the actual album is my favorite. It just sounds different to me.
That guitar intro gives it such a sinister touch
That breakdown always gets me. Just so damn perfect.
Was lucky enough to see these guys in Glasgow barrowlands 2001, to this day that gig has still not been topped
Outstanding
Wish I could have been there to see that show back in the day!
Never get enough of this song. STP rules. My favorite band and their first album is an instant classic.
Legendary,till this day and forever
I've seen them twice, once in '93 and last year and they only get better. I was front row at the first one and got to see them up close. No band matches their energy and the way he moves on stage is so unique. Great band. Period.
Still listening in 2018
Still listening 2019!!!!
Spectacular beginnings of Stone temple pilots 😎✌🏻
Thank you for everything you gave Scott. RIP.
Still bad ass as it ever was. It's awesome and never gets old.
Wish I was at this show.

Young, beautiful Scott.
sin has probably one of the hardest riffs out there...in my opinion anyway
My favorite song from them.
Just about my favorite song on Core. Goddamn it's such a good album. Perfect road going album too haha.
No Memory é um dos melhores momentos instrumentais do rock: lindo solo!!!
every time i see them it seems like they start their shows really mellow...awesome vid tho
i like this song ...damn...
Heroin Fueled 🔥... Love it!!!
Nope. This is before his heavy drug use.
@@TammyM36correct, I was there with the band and it was just pure passion and a few beers.
