When I got my Razer Edge and found out I had to dig through my stuff to find a SIM removal card, that totally removed me from being immersed in experiencing the device. Sure you can go out and buy all of the pieces but it’s a way better customer experience to actually provide the customer with everything they need to keep them sucked into the device
@@ScatteredBrain fair criticism, but most people have a sim removal tool or a paper clip at this point. But yes, they should include one
Paper clip won’t work
It looks like a Nintendo switch
It definitely looks similar!
i love mine razer fan for life lol
Please, just buy any Telescopic controller and use your phone for this instead.
Oh Lord those super clicky buttons are godly annoying to listen to
Why do you like something garbage like that
Wah wah wah. This is premium tech. Sick of helping make these 'i got this for free' reviews get money. I love razer and will continue to buy their products. Razer themselves said at CES this device is designed as a switch competitor which it does in amazing fashion.
You’re insane if you think I got the Razer Edge for free (and didn’t disclose it) 😂
I’m also a massive Razer fan but have to look at this without fan lenses
cry about it some more. 😂
This is the worst troll bait ever
@@umamifan "this device sucks! Also use my affiliate link guys"
It's just a phone with a gamepad attachment.
It doesn’t need a SIM card so you can have it as a dedicated device which is the main thing to separate it but there is a version with SIM card included too! So yea it’s a phone without the phone.
Thanks for watching!
It has a space wasting 20:9 ratio that only a non emulation, Android gamer would love. Poor and misguided design decision.
But android games and Steam link DO look awesome! It’s just not my primary use of the Edge at all.
Thanks for watching!
@Scattered Brain Yep, hence my point. The problem is there are cheaper just as functional options, so the main use would be emulation. Seems they misread the market. Would be bank with 6" 16×9. Verizon has sold hardly any.
its about more bang for your buck and the oden would over rock this in price this is not worth the money
Great video! Honestly, I think handheld consoles are not for me. I can't see their appeal
Thanks for watching! Totally get that handhelds aren’t for everyone! I think that is where hybrids have huge value. I nearly never use my switch portably but I love being able to bring it around.
Think about your favorite 3d old games from ps2/ x360
Fat32??? Wtf? "Ultimate android gaming device" my ass
For emulation and streaming don't get this. No matter how powerful, the wide aspect ratio is not for that purpose, seriously. You cannot wide screen hack every PS1 game so there is no compromises. Even at wide screen the black bars on the side is a wasted space. Just think, you bought a 6.8 inch but can only use 4.5 inches, there is no defending this device!
for the same price might as well buy a used steam deck
Exactly! - or brand new. In the US the base stream deck and the Razer edge are the same price!
This is suppose to replace your phone, not your laptop/computer
My s21 ultra better lol
I NEEEED THIS
It’s been on sale lately!
Thanks for watching!
save more 150$ and get steam deck way much value
