    These are now $250 new from Amazon.
    Considering the controllers by themselves average around $100 retail this seems to be the deal of the year.
    Personally, I'm looking for this since performance/price this now outperforms most other Android-based emulators approaching twice the price. Most new phones now also do not include a microSD card slot to store your collection. For the same price of upgrading your new iPhone or Android phone to a higher capacity you can just get this as a side device.

    Now with the price point absolutely worth it and for Retro gaming almost a Beast 😁

    In my opinion, the Razer Edge is just too amazing! But they could have the Razer Kishi V1 instead of the V2 to make it easier for others. But overhaul, amazing.

      It truly is an amazing device. The one thing that bothers me though its the round edges on the screen.

    the good thing about the controller not being fused with the tablet is that if the controller breaks you can replace it easly if the tablet breaks you can still reuse the controller with a phone or another tablet

    Ngl the edge is great, however.. i have a razer phone 2, and i have customized it to the max for thermals and overclocked it, switched the Operating system and updated the adreno 630 drivers.. couple that with the junglecat and the razer chroma cooler (i milled an aluminum backplate to act as a thermal mass to replace the glass back).. and i end up getting comparable performance.. also the chip in the edge is an overclocked 888. Not an 8 gen1. So razers own previous gen device can compare to this one and the razer phone 2 also has a 16x9 aspect ratio... Honestly the only reason to get the edge is if you want to use it to emulate gen 7 era pc or console games.. oblivion (modded) runs at a pretty good fps, between 30 to 60 at ultra high if youre using winlator. But a modern flagship phone can run that at higher framerate and could possibly run it with an ENB on top of it. But for its price, its good value.
    Personally id say that if you already have the razer phone 2 or a modern day sd888 or higher chipset, then dont bother getting it, you can get comparable performance or superior performance with the phone you already got. But if you want to have a dedicated android based gaming handheld then sure, go ahead, for what the asking price is, i mean the kishi v2 pro is 100+ dollars so if you subtract that, the tablet is about 300 and for that price, its excellent value for what you're getting

    Man street fighter really brought it back. If I used my phone for gaming this would be great but I do love playing call of duty and apex. Playing games on my phone really drags my battery life so I have to pass on it. Great break down brother.

      Oh yes Street Fighter was the go to arcade game when I was growing up. Don't forget about placing the quarters on the edge of the screen. Thank you for coming by and showing some love. 🙏👊

      I like the edge also I just wish Razer would not have gone with such a thick rounded off bezel it makes the screen smaller.

    Is the kishi any different from a regular kishi brother?

    • @DadLifeGaming
      @DadLifeGaming  Год назад +1

      The only difference is the haptic feedback and the headphone Jack that’s about it everything else is the same.

    So to connected to Steam, I have to use Steam link. Does that mean that I have to have it playing on my computer at the same time? I thought I would be able to use both devices separately?
