    Looks so delicious and so inspiring. I love that it is so simple, when I started the "healthy lifestyle" and also transitioned vegan, I used to overcomplicate things because people said "vegans have to be extra careful about what they eat if the want to have enough nutrients etc". But lately I've been simplifying my meals and not only it helped (a lot) my budget but also I am feeling more energised! My body can use its energy elsewhere than digestion and I enjoy even more the flavours of each ingredient as it is not too lost between the other ones.
    I love whant you do, this type of videos are really helpful.
    Lots of light and love,
    Anne

    • @meghanlivingstone
      @meghanlivingstone  5 лет назад

    I accidentally stumbled upon your chanel, and I already love it! What makes you different is that you don't do expensive, 101 ingredient recipes, and you are not a vegan/vegetarian. I have nothing against that, and I have tried eating vegetarian and vegan, and even though many people will judge me, it's just not for me. Most things lose a degree of their nutritional value once heated, so it's just the nature of the game! I'll re-heat for 10 minutes or so, sometimes I'll even just eat it cold :)

    • @meghanlivingstone
      @meghanlivingstone  5 лет назад +9

      Jesse Stafford yes I do! I shop for food more than once a week - we tend to buy smaller amounts of what we need as we need it (so that we use things up, especially fresh produce) rather than huge grocery shops, aside from some frozen or pantry staples 👍🏼

      Hi Susan! Yes I've been completely dairy-free for a couple of years now as I have IBS and tend to react poorly to it. I can tolerate *tiny* amounts of it but I rarely eat it. I have a video on my gut health story where I talk a bit more about what I eat!
      How are you feeling on your health journey so far? :-)

      I feel amazing! I can't imagine eating any other way now. It took all of 70 years for me to "get it", but I do now!! My blood work is quite impressive in just a few months. Having heart, stroke, and diabetes in my family, I feel like I made the switch just in time! Thanks for asking!

      Good for you! Congratulations on making positive changes in your diet. I credit whole foods, plant based eating for my excellent health. I am "middle aged" and without the chronic health and weight issues that plague so many in our age group!!
