    A quick tip for you!
    Carrots last long, but to make them last even longer I store them in a tupperware/jar full of water. Last time I bought a big batch of carrots was a month ago and I have just eaten the last one today. And it was as fresh and crunchy as if it wash just bought!!!!

    Hello Megan! Great video as usual! A staple I get are avocados. I've started to have one a day for a while now. Also, I started having greens like salads with every meal since I saw that you did that in one of your videos. I found it interesting to have greens for breakfast when I first tried it, but now I do it each day.

I LOVE that in one of your recent videos you even say that eating your greens daily is an act of self care- YES! That is revolutionary and so so true!! I remember that when I’m feeling low. BTW I much prefer your channel to Pick Up Limes😉 looking forward to seeing you grow 📈 you deserve it xxx

    Hi Megan, thank you for the awesome video again. I am a little confused about the oils. Isn't canola oil better for cooking than olive oil due to the heat tolerance?

    • @chandaharkins4418
      @chandaharkins4418 5 лет назад

      For high heat cooking, you can try avocado oil. It has a neutral flavor.

    • @meghanlivingstone
      @meghanlivingstone  5 лет назад

      xanya6 hey there! The best high heat cooking oils will actually be those that are solid at room temperature, such as coconut oil, butter, or lard. Avocado oil is a good option too, and olive oil slightly less so. I wouldn’t suggest canola oil or others labeled as “vegetable oil” (that tend to come in clear plastic packaging). Hope this helps 😊
