@@jahvarmclean3061 oh my gosh well I’m glad my preview made you watch the show! I recommend going back to season 1 because there’s so many great moments. As of season one Colton had died but now I don’t know what it means now that he’s also a time traveler!!!
When I watched the Season 2 finale, on Hallmark Channel, it ended with Jacob coming out of the pond and then hugging Kat. It didn’t show them walking to the house.
I agree I would have loved to have seen her reaction. I wanted that resolution for Del
I think the fact that Elliot asked Kat to "choose me" tells me that he has (maybe) gone back and seen Thomas and Kat and the little thing they've got going on...just a wild stab
But how would he have gone back yet if we only saw for the first time now? Unless Elliot is hiding even more secrets. But he seemed pretty surprised with that first travel.
Unless, he will travel in the future and jump in the lake right after Kat, so he can go to the 1800s.@@kaymaldo
To be fair Kat did tell elliot about Thomas and Elliot asked if Kat felt something for him since she didnt mentioned thomas much and then she wanted to say goodbye because she thought thomas would die. So maybe thats why he wanted her to choose him

Casey’s father should be Kat’s age. Unless Evelyn had a kid at an old age, around 2007, when she was maybe on her 60’s.
that's what i was thinking. if casey is alice daughter, we should be seeing adult alice soon. or what about casey being alice sister. It could be elliott and kat's daughter if kat end up marrying him.

I think this show is really well written. I really like how the time travel works, that you can't just choose when to go, but the pond does. And the whole idea that yes, they can time travel but they cannot change the past, they can learn from it to heal, forgito and move on because of it.
And yes, as you said I wasn't really shocked with the whole lingermore situation since Kat made such a huge deal about it worrying that Alice will see it. Del and Kat def should've had bigger fight.
I also thought Del would time travel this season. But in the S2 finale, when Elliot spoke to Colton I thought if he knew about time travel, since he recognized Kat and he gave Elliot that look, and then we saw him at the end. I really like how a lot of people are connected with the pond since Casey is somehow in it as well.
I also love Susanna.
So good! I can’t wait to learn more and I hope Del travels with them!
Just like they referenced "Back to the Future," they did change a few things and Doc did not die because of the information Marty gave him in the letter he wrote to him. If they are following "Back to the Future" as time travel rules, then they can warn Colton about the accident, so he doesn't die.
@@kaymaldo Also, when Del met the horse, the scene was really like mysterious? And my theory was that maybe the horse time travelled (like Fin did) and that del might follow the horse and time travel, but now we know that the horse belonged to the neighbour so. But the way Del met the horse was really mysterious for some reason?
I rewatched the whole series to look for breadcrumbs about Colton, and I saw that he knew Alice was a traveler the moment she showed up soaking wet while wandering in from the woods

For the seasons to only be 10 episodes ....WTH.... shows use to be 27 episodes or more back in the day......10 is NOT ENOUGH and have to wait to next January........its killing me!!!!
I actually cried during some points of The Way Home’s season(s)/episodes- when I was younger I said to my mom on numerous occasions (especially the ones where I knew she was the person i needed & wanted to confide in) “I wish I grew up when you did, we’d be best friends growing up together.” - Kat & Alice make me think of the relationship I have with my mom. {Similar to Lorelai & Rory}
Figured it would end on kind of a cliffhanger moment and now we have to wait until next year. Overall great season though

Yeah Jacob’s sudden want to go back to the present didn’t feel earned after he was so set on never coming back. Goodwin still being after him would have made a better story.

To be fair, the time zone jacob was in is the only home he ever known despite kat finding him. I dont blame him for not wanting to go back.
I kind of think that Casey might be Kat and Thomas' daughter. Kat clearly spends more time in the past with Thomas and Casey is spending her time trying to get to know Alice.

I don't know why she is going by Goodwin, but Kat's painting was also in the Goodwin house.
But she had the the engagement ring that Alice's Dad gives to her. She also seems very interested on Alice. I really think she is Alice's daughter.
or maybe casey is elliot and kat's daughter. thomas coming to present day and marrying kat would change past history which can't happen. jacob never belong in the 1800s so history won't change. since kat gave the ring to alice, it doesn't make sense kat would have it back again. it could be alice's daughter.
I know that they have approached time travel as it was done in "Back to the Future", but I want them to bring Colton back and approach it like the movie Frequency.

I was hoping to see more of colton . I had feeling since the land was from his family he must of knew something . I definitely think casey is related maybe alice daughter or would jacob have any kids around that timeline.
That would be very interesting. I know there was that little kid Jacob Jr who was Elijah’s grandson in the past. What if he is Jacob COLTON Landry Jr and is really Colton?

That’s a great theory, except for the grandmother. Rebecca Landry would be that boy’s grandmother and she had already passed away. I think Colton might be from a later generation after Elijah. The boy is the grandson to a woman who knows all about that pond. I think the grandmother might be Susanna!

There was a shadowy figure in like one episode. I think it was the port haven anniversary episode.

The season was great, but had to many characters. I think they should concentrate on 2 time lines and not 3. We don’t know much about Evelyn, Victor, Colton, Del, Noah and Casey. Who are Elliot‘s ancestor, his direct line, who is his mother? I forget Monica. Where is Spencer?
I get what you mean for sure. There’s a lot of people and stories to tackle.

I was thinking about the possibility of the Landry's being the only ones to travel through the Pond, but then Elliot time-traveled back to the 90s and that was no longer a viable theory. I'd really like to get to the bottom of why some characters can time-travel or some cannot.
I think Elliot was only able to time travel with Alice since they went together.

The pond is moody. Sometimes it won’t take Kat or Alice where or when they want to go.
Plus on a technicality Fynn IS a Landry as he BELONGS to them so to speak
Maybe Colton is from the 1800's and he time traveled and learned how to live in modern times?
Maybe but wouldn’t he not be able to time travel to the future if he was originally from 1800s based off the Flynn theory? He’d have to have been born in the 50s or 60s but I feel like his outfit as a kid looked like the 1800s.

Kat admitted she does love elliot. There no way thomas can live in kat present time. That would change the course of history. Just like she could not have prevented her father death.

Elliott was always so weary of time travel and thought it ruined his life in many ways. It didn't make sense that he would suddenly decide to travel himself. Very out of character.
I think it made sense for him as a scientist or science teacher to test the theories. I liked that it let him finally understand how Kat has felt.
I think Kat is dreaming about Jacob showing up and Thomas faded away...Nope, I dont think they were they were real...

I think Jacob is really going home. When Kat was daydreaming about Thomas they didn’t touched each other. But Kat and Jacob they hugged and held hands. I don’t know. I always thought Jacob was going back home to the present time, for one reason or another. I believe he probably had all this memories coming back to him, and made him curious. Love this show. ❤
i think it was really jacob. he has the capability to time travel. probably he decided he wanted to come home.

I’ve always wondered if maybe Kat gets pregnant with Thomas’s baby and maybe that’s who Casey is or maybe that just throws a wrench and her and Elliot’s relationship because of course she’s going to stay in her present day but she’ll keep going back so there needs to be a bigger connection to the past.
I also thought maybe Casey had some sort of connection with like Susanna

I prefer to say she because she looks like a she. She might be a guy, and if she looked that way, I would say, he. For now, she is a she for me. I don’t care about someone explaining what the pronouns are. That’s odd for me. If she is trying to be ambiguous, then too bad if it is “wrong.” There is a whole lot wrong with all of it.
I don’t think it fits in the story line, or that it’s needed.

Susanna is a lesbian/witch, Thomas is a giid hearted liar, Kat is probably a bi or pansexual mess but smart and courageous, Alice another mess but sweet and hopeful and straight, Jacob sweet, loyal and probably asexual in aromatic (hence why he was going to marry Susanna) ans Casey seems sweet and smart and a mystery still and non-binary... its life it's part if this world build
I hate that they are going to make us wait until 2025 for season 3! I can't stand all this waiting! I hope Colt returns too!
